Thats what i am thinking lol. But to be honest i would take that if i was offered it right now.

He didn't have a great game, but he didn't have to be good for us to win. Against city the atmosphere will be totally different and he should come to fore. He has played a lot recently, but if there was ever a game where he should start imo it would be this one, as a win, puts us firmly in the race for second, wheras a loss means that man city are gone and its just gonna be a 4 horse race for 2 places between us, tottenham, everton, and arsenal.

Oh no... Mata is the first name on the team sheet. He can rest in the next game. If we rest him in this one and play ramires on the right we may as well give them 3 points and rest everyone.

Very true, i am not denying that. But Torres is part of the "team" and as a team the performance wasn't very good for the opposition we faced, who (credit where credits due) did do well, and got their goal and pressed well throughout.

If we had strikers that could finish the performance would be different though... If we had played demba ba (I know we can't) We probably would have led going into the half time or at least be level, yet we didn't and torres was awful. And considering we only have 1 striker if he doesn't play well then we struggle as we are extremely reliant on our AM to do all the work (Like the brilliant goal from Eden at the end).

Looking back, me saying it wasn't even close was a bit extreme lol. But i think those 3 we created a lot less chances and often were getting dominated, wheras with this game we had a lot of the ball but did very little and were terribly wasteful.

Do you think we played good for 92 mins then? And are you gonna go tell everyone else they are plastic who doesn't think we played well?

QPR, Brentford, fulham, for me were worse, as with better finishing we should have lead at half time in this game.

So saying we played bad makes you plastic does it... Ok mate.

This... Rafa is a tactical genius clearly, because we played like crap for 92 mins. And he made 1 change and our best player had to play the full 90...

That was crap, until a pure bit of magic from our 17. Put gloss on a rubbish performance but on we go, and we avoided injury time. MOTM is obvious. And it only took him 2 touches to get it. (1 to skin two players and the other to score the screamer).
