  1. Welcome Jose. So happy he is back. Journo's ask some mega shit questions. But still, great to see him be back and in his element.
  2. I can't believe there isn't gonna be a torres question.
  3. Here we go. Belgian question.
  4. What was everyone expecting. Him to jump on the table and shout "i'm back bitches". He is being asked some shitty questions and saying everything we chelsea fans want to hear. I would rather hear him say about how he loves the club, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else than some other stuff that would be more "entertaining". I am assuing they have said, no questions to be asked on specific chelsea transfers, or these journalists are really that bad.
  5. This guy is such a legend. Just casually going from 1 language to the other.
  6. All the best people keep everyone waiting.
  7. Got my Jose shirt at the ready
  8. 4-3-3, Puts Mata out wide, which isn't great. 4-3-2-1 On paper looks the way to go as we could utilise our best players positons, and not have the winger issue. But we all know we would be far too narrow, and whilst it may work against teams who actually play against us, against many teams who just sit in it would be extremely hard to break people down. 4-4-2. Doesn't utilise our best players postions and just makes no sense. Sure, it works on fifa but no point in real life as the default strategy. 3 at the back... Lets not even go there. So 4-2-3-1 is pretty much all that is left that fits all our requirements, despite it having its own problems as well. 4-3-3 should be used as an alternate formation but i can't see it being used as our main one.
  9. Skysports are advertising it at being half 1. So youtube has to be wrong.
  10. I had that once the other day. I was scrolling through and the only place to be had someone else's ava. Can't remember where it was though, and I went on a different page and it was normal.
  11. I miss that function. Easy way to go through the new posts.Edit: just saw what Jim wrote in the previous page.
  12. It'd a ticket price thing. Make the prices 30 quid each rather than 55 which is generally the cheapest one and I reckon you could fill 80000, as there are loads of people who want to go. Our season ticket waiting list is huge atm. If tickets were 30 quid then it would be much more reasonable and bring in a lot of younger people who generate better atmosphere. Nothing against anyone else. But lots of people are priced out, so half the stadium is corporate types who talk about the game rather than singing. Try getting a song going in the east stand upper and they will look at you like you are ruining their outing. And 110 quid for two tickets not including travel or anything is really steep. And as it is our tickets very rarely get to general sale. So I don't think we would be far off filling it if we were to reduce ticket prices.
  13. Yeah he is not very experienced but he is only 3rd choice. And if something long term happened to Cech we would probably recall courtois. So It would save us having to but a GK. And would help with the homegrown numbers.
  14. ^Lol. Not gonna happen but still. Took me back to my youth.
  15. If June is anything to go by, it still could be a cold night in Stoke.
  16. Knowing roman, it wouldn't be too surprising. Though the question then comes why not buy the right winger keep kdb. Rather than buy Schurrle which is what leads me too believe we won't.
  17. Home game would be ideal obviously. Something to get the season going early so: Hull at home. 9-0 to scare the shit out of everyone.
  18. Thank you. I'll tell my mum tommorrow you said so.
  19. If lukaku stays I would love to see that. But can't see him staying with us next season, in which case I really don't want to be going into next season with just torres and ba. And fair enough mate. We shall agree to disagree on that.
  20. I think Alex was looking for the word please lol.
  21. A. He can be quite effective, so I don't think it should be dismissed. B. Obviously I didn't, but as I said with a different player in front I don't think he would be that ineffective there. Granted we would be narrow on that side which would be very unwise against some teams, but it's still an option to use. C.1/ I have watched him play and i disagree with the latest popular opinion that he is simply not good enough. I think he has a lot of talent and whilst isn't I close to being in the class of mata and hazard, who is. He obviously won't be an automatic first 11, but he will definitely be in and around the first team and why not. C. 2/ It's about doing what's best for the team. I. E. The sum of its parts rather than the individual parts themselves. If the benefit to the team is greater to move hazard to the right for a few games here and there then I don't have a problem with it. Obviously in that ideal situation we wouldn't have to but not everything can be ideal. I also disagree with the Hazard is useless on the right but amazing on the left. Some of his best moments from last season came from that right hand side. And he was often moved over there mid game. The comparisons with Ronaldo and messi is a totally different situation. Ronaldo has di maria on the other side so there is absolutely no reason to move him, and bale can play all over so he wouldn't have to move because of that either. And messi just plays where he wants anyway. Again ribiery has robben on the other side, so there would be no need there either. D. In an ideal world yes. But not essential. What would you rather have: Di maria mata hazard Torres Or: Whoever mata hazard Cavani. Imo the greater benefit will come from an effective striker than a rw. And as I have already said sorting out the pivot has to be up there with priorities. E. Of course he is not the only one, and if we bring someone in then great, but simply I would rate the striker /pivot issue as being more important. Unless we want to actually just give the no 1, slot to lukaku and giving him a real go, which I am in support of If cavani doesn't come through. Though I think that is unlikely as a loan move looks on the horizon. If we buy a rw, as well, everyone wants kdb to stay (me included) but he would be on the bench for most of the time. Unless we are gonna play him deep, in which case oscar will be sat on the bench and someone of his talent /age shouldn't be stuck on the bench for a season. Wow. That was way longer than I intended it to be lol.
