For me there are 2 big contenders. Luiz's screamer and Oscars goal vs Juve. For me, Oscars goal, as that was just an absolute beauty the way he skinned 2 players to work that angle.

Depends if we are talking Dream football manager type or more realistic. Probably something along the lines of Lewandowski Di Maria Lars Bender Subotic Would be amazing, but its probably not that realistic. Or swap Lars Bender for Gundogen.

He's done what he had to do. It hasn't been easy. And imo, we still would have got top 4 with RDM, so he hasn't done a better job than him. That being said, we have won a european trophy, got top 4 sewn up, lampard has got a new deal. I will never love rafa, but i don't hate him. I hate some of the things he has done this season, and his substitutions will always baffle me. Even yesterday we made no changes. But Hey ho, we got there in the end and it won't come back to bite us in the ass. I appreciate the effort. And we can now both depart, and go our seperate ways, us with top 4 and a trophy, and rafa with a bolstered cv, that will say something along the lines of "battling through the hatred to get top 4 and win a trophy". Both Parties content with how it ended, considering how things were looking a few months back. Lets end this chapter and start a new one, with the special one.

Tbh, it wouln't surprise me to see any number of those 3 getting another extension next year, depending on how they play. Cole especially, as we don't have anyone really ready to take over.

Yeah because giving lampard a new deal means that the club won't do anything else all summer. And i tell you what would make our team worse... Thats getting rid of Lampard.

Considering how this season was looking very bad a couple of months ago, we now have got guarenteed top 4, won the europa, Lampy signs a new deal and jose looks like he is coming back... What an end to the season!

Any news on this, or has it just gone dead in the last few weeks. Technically the window isn't open yet, so perhaps its done, just waiting, but haven't seen many reports.

Best game in a while FT. I still think we should try and take whatever we can get for him and run. But if he was to stay, (with Mourinho coming in), he would only get played when he deserved to and we won't go into the season with just 2 strikers. In which case it wouldn't be the worst thing ever. Still would rather get some money back and save some wage bill to make room for whoever we want to bring in. But still, credit where credit is due for yesterday's second half performance.

Might have to get myself a matching polo. And another picture for the wall. One without boswinga in the middle which will be a welcome sight.

1 more game left this season. Finish with a win, wrap up third, announce Jose and the new deal for frank and this season has ended rather well considering how doom and gloom things were a couple of months ago.

Get another crack at it, and hopefully with Mourinho at the helm and a slightly better bolstered squad we can add another trophy which we didn't have before. And we know bayern can't beat us.
