Does anyone know how FFP is likely to affect the possibility of this happening? Or indeed any other big name that Chelsea might happen to want be it Neymar/Cavani etc etc. Do we still have the ability to make big purchases like this?? We spent a lot in the summer... Just curious, I'm researching but if I'm honest It's not crystal clear yet

I'd definitely go for Luiz. I don't buy that his personality makes him a bad choice. Sterotyping captains as always serious etc etc doesn't really do it for me. If the other players like him and follow him, then it doesn't matter that he has fun and is a bit eccentric. Hell if I was playing for Chelsea I'd be happy to have him as the skipper

I agree. But nonetheless you will agree that Messi is not an outstanding aerial threat. You can attribute that to Barcelona's style of play or Messi's strengths etc but the fact is hes not a superb threat in the air and Barca don't seem to have many problems breaking teams down. This isn't directed at you but I feel that the argument that says "So and so won't succeed in the Premier league because of his size" really has to stop now. Mata, silva, oscar, cazorla etc they're all fine. I think Neymar would be too, and I for one would love to see him running at Stoke. The back four would have a nightmare...

I would rather see Neymar here than Falcao. He is young, would grow up with Oscar, Hazard and Neymar. Plays more in keeping with our style. As special as Falcao is, I'd rather see Neymar here

Athletico will NOT want to sell to Real if they can help it. If Chelsea and City match the Real offer then Real really shouldn't factor into the equation too much. Of course that depends on us matching whatever Real offer
