  1. We're not here to entertain anybody. The other way around, if anything.
  2. Anything is superior to the premier league referees we have to face every week.
  3. Cech Dave - Zouma - Terry - Luis Fabregas - Matic Ramires - Willian - Hazard Diego
  4. No school next week and that means I can watch this game live.
  5. If I could choose I watch the Chelsea game or something else I would always choose watching Chelsea. I always try to plan things ahead, I don't like to miss games because of flights and such. However, I miss pretty much all the Champions League matches because of the times in Canada since I'm at school. I always record the matches, but there is always some bastard who spoils the result for me.
  6. Tbh this is not a good game to judge if Cahill has recovered from his awful performances this season since Aston Villa have the worst attack in the Premier League(At least on paper.) That being said, he did put in a solid performance and didn't make a mistake when the team was under pressure.
  7. Imagine the shitstorm if Mourinho responded every question with: "I'm just here so I won't get fined."
  8. Is it just me or is there actually a goat behind the scene?
  9. Cuadrado's mother: "My son always liked football, since he was very small" #CFC (via @CaracaolDeportes) Cuadrado's mother: "My son when he was small, was a forward, top scorer and then changed to another position" #CFC (via @CaracolDeportes) Cuadrado's mother: "The first gift from my son was when he told me that he would fix my house" #CFC (via @CaracolDeportes) ...Signed a gem. Cuadrado's mother: "God you had saved this award from Chelsea for his effort" #CFC (via @CaracolDeportes) Juan Cuadrado was just FOUR when he hid under the bed as gunmen murdered his father. #CFC (Mirror) Cuadrado's mother: "Perhaps the death of his dad made him grow up quicker.” #CFC (Mirror) Cuadrado's mother on whether her son at that point would give up dream of playing: "No, he was persistent and even more. Never give up" #CFC -- Holy shit, that third last tweet...
  10. No nonsense, but also cool as fuck. Didn't panic for 1 second although we were the ones defending for the majority of the game. His proactivity is what we've lacked the past 5 months. Can't believe he is only 20. P.s: That tackle on Aguero gave me an erection.
  11. Warriors like him will win you the big matches. I love everything about him. His passion for winning itself is unreal. Read this on twitter: Mourinho and Costa, a match made in cunty heaven
  12. Don't tell me Costa is naked in the dressing room like those old men I see whenever I go to the gym
  13. Ramires is immense. Made a big part in our win. And Zouma is a fucking tank.
  14. Making a defensive error and the ability to do better in certain situations are two different things. This stat sort of relates to Courtois' stat that showed he hasn't made a single error this season. While that might be true, there is no denying in the fact that he could have done better in some circumstances.
  15. No Cahill yeeeeeeesssssssss ... I'm celebrating as if we've won the match.
  16. Not a chance in hell. Cahill playing left centre-back means he will be isolated in 1v1 situations when Luis goes forward. This is an absolute no for me. In a 3 at the back formation your two wider centre-backs need to be good with the ball. We don't have any.
  17. I read on Twitter that he was shite today again. Not going to judge though, but based on his form it wouldn't be surprising. Also from Twitter: Cahill and Kompany would make a great defensive partnership for a Fraud XI.
  18. Ramires needs to start in big games. His energy is impeccable and although he is not very good with the ball, he is great at retaining possession, something we struggled with against Liverpool. For me, Ramires has always been a priceless player for us. He is not the flashiest, but he makes a big role in big games. Mikel can only offer interceptions, and today he failed at that with terrible positioning. In a game where we are struggling to win the midfield battle, a player of Ramires' capabilities is an absolute must.
  19. I think we need two players with different defending styles compared to each other as centre-backs. I look at Terry and Cahill and I see two similar players in terms of defending but big difference in terms of quality. One of the reasons the Terry-Carvalho pair was so successful was because not only the two were great at defending, but because each of them offered us a different platform in defence. With Terry, you had the classic English Centre-back who likes the security around him and is very experienced. Carvalho, however, was a good-ball player. He used to charge out, constantly making interceptions and tackles. Cahill can't do that, he offers you the exact same style as Terry, except he has much less quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOnIey_gsAE Imagine if Carvalho was against Sterling today. He would have charged out and tackled him, not back off and let him have a shot. Had he have backed off, it wouldn't last forever. You NEED to make the challenge at some point. This is why I like Varane a lot. Very confident, great on the ball, has pace, has the ability to make tackles and interceptions, unlike Cahill who seems to be only decent at blocking.
  20. I voted for Cahill for MOTM because he convinced me he has eyes in the back of his head with his confident back to goal play.
