My opinion about this situation is not as thoughtful nor as controversial as any of your opinions. All I'm going to say is that that I'm tired of him. I don't care about him.

I think what's clear here is that the FA has a clear bias in favour of English players, especially the young and and international ones. I will never understand how Sterling and Cahill escaped a ban. Yes, his main quality is his defensive work and he generally stays back a lot. But, he is no slouch at attacking either and he is technichally well-rounded. Like Gary Neville said, in this day and age your defensive players also need to be good with the ball, something that Khedira is good at and the likes of Mikel are not. Both Khedira and Mikel are defensive players but the massive difference between them is that Khedira can also be offensive if he wants to be.
