As I said previously, he is the one who built this team and HE is the one who is preventing it from reaching its potential. This is what the likes of Wenger struggle with: Stubbornness. Wenger likes to attack attack and attack despite getting bad results. Mourinho hasn't learned his lesson this season. How many times did we lose a lead playing this way? What on earth was he thinking when he instructed the players not to press against a 10 men psg side at home? Who knows, maybe one day, one day, we will be able to see us to change our big game mentality with attacking and positive intent. Today we lost to Jose's fear, not Luiz and Silva's headers.

What do you expect when our only tactic is provoking the opponent through Costa?
-
We had the referee, 1 more player and still managed to put a shambolic performance. Absolute disgraceful.

The only thing that worries me is going for a 0-0. Our defense is very error-prone at the moment and its highly unlikely that we'll manage to keep a clean sheet trying to defend in the entire game. Another thing is our players not having the urgency because of the result we got in the first leg. This also happened in the 2nd leg vs Atleti last year where I thought we could have performed much better if we lost the first leg. We can't give them time on the ball, if they space to roam and time to pass/shoot we are in deep trouble. The most important thing for us is to press effectively and I think at the end this makes a huge role in the result of the game. Ideal situation is to get the first goal, and then try to control the game, waiting for lapses of concentration from PSG to get the second. Settling for the 1-0 and parking the bus is also very risky. Very nervous for this match, one simple mistake and we could be out of the competition. But afterall, we're Chelsea and we've always been about giving our all fighting till the last second. Let's believe and we will be in the quarter final!

I wasn't happy with him coming before he signed but the reaction after the past few performances is just not fair. He's only been here for a few weeks and is not used to the style of the team. He feels pressure and its clear he doesn't have a go at defenders like he did at Fiorentina. We need to give him time to adjust, its not easy to come from a terrible league to the premier league to a team who is challenging for the CL. I'm not saying he will definitely become a great player but for us, as supporters, it is a must to give him time especially given the situation he is in.

I like to always mention the pros and cons every manager/player, and I have to say Ivanovic was fucking immense yesterday. Always in the right position, knew when to close down and was mentally very stable. Keep it up Branislove.

There is one thing saying, 'This is a very risky line-up, but we will see what Jose has in mind' and one thing moaning and bitching about something that hasn't happened, as if it already has. If anything your post would have made more sense if you complained like that after/if we lost. This is a disgraceful post, showing clearly you don't remember anything that Mourinho has done for this club. Mourinho has earned the right to be trusted at the very, very least for his line-up. If you think its too risky then fine, but bitching and cursing as if we've already lost the match is beyond ridiculous. You and people like you who behaved this way before a single minute of the match was played have no right to celebrate that victory.

I wonder how Roy Hodgson must feel after that game. JT is at his fucking prime. P.s: I fucking love Jose. A Chelsea man through and through. I hope we have him locked here for a solid 10 years.
-
Lots of moaning for no reason. Are we playing to the best of our ability? No. But are Tottenham controlling the game? Of course not.
-
Jose just pulled a Fergie on Ake.

My friend designed these:
-
In: Raphael Varane Sami Khedira(Pogba if affordable. ) Icardi? Out: Mikel - Don't think there will be much room for him if Khedira or any other midfielder comes in. Cech - I don't think he'll stay on the bench for too long. Drogba - Rumors of him getting retired and taking a part in the coaching staff.

English players and English teams are mostly overrated. Other leagues have some incredible talents that don't even get half of the attention as the likes of Wilshere. At the moment, even the Premier League is overrated. La Liga has a very good, improved competition for the title, while maintaining 3 serious Champions League contenders. It's pretty disappointing how much the Premier League has fallen in terms of quality in the past couple of years. It has all become fancy little players going forward but defensively and mentally, we are the only team who can stand out in Europe. Teams like Arsenal will continue to embarrass English Football if they don't adapt can keep playing with their stubborn, predictable style. Anyways, over to us to save the 4th place once again for the Gunners.

Don't get me wrong, I go fucking mental whenever Ivanovic scores and does his funny pointing to the head celeeration. But, all of this is not his job. He shouldn't be the one saving our ass by scoring goals, if anything thats a bonus. His priority is defending, and while I'm hundred percent he has the potential to be a rock at defence but its lack of concentration that constantly lets him and the team down a lot.
-
Mourinho is at fault at a lot of things but not for losing the two points today. Stop trying to blame it on him. We got robbed by that old cunt Atkinson, simple as that.
-
Wonder if Atkinson's wife knew he fucked Chelsea today.
-
Yeah Yeah there is no campaign against Chelsea. Two penalties in the first half and Barnes somehow staying on the pitch. Fuck off.
-
From a rock at defending to a goalscorer. What is next for Branislav? I'm one of those people who think defending well is the priority for any defender, full-back or centre-back. Anything beyond that is a bonus. This is the reason I never even thought about considering Sergio Ramos as a world class defender, I don't care many times he saves Madrid's ass all I know is that he makes way too many mistakes and loses concentration very often. With Ivanovic it's the same story. However, I used to like him a lot three or four years ago where he was a better defender while being a danger at set pieces as well. Right now he is the same at Dani Alves, he can only be a danger going forward. It's ridiculous to me how every pundit in the country is describing him as a monster of a defender while he is the complete opposite. For a top class team like us that is/or at least wants to challenge for the Champions League trophy he is just not reliable at defending. I don't want to discourage the fact he has earned us a couple of points with his crucial goals, but like I said, that's not his job. He shouldn't be the one scoring those goals. He should be there when Moreno is raping the right side of our defence, when Salah is lurking behind him, when Okore tries to lose him, or when Milner is making a run behind him. Not only he has already costed us a few goals there could have been many more which he got away with. That first half against City is an example. The match could have been over in the first 45 minutes with City 3 goals ahead because of his poor passing and inability to concentrate. Against Liverpool, if it wasn't for Courtois we wouldn't have been in Wembley beucase of Ivanovic constantly being out of position. I don't like seeing Dave at left-back any more either. While he is a fantastic defender, that knows when to press or when to cut passing lanes, I think he just cuts the team's momentum whenever he gets the ball. He constantly switches the ball to his right foot and then passes it to the middle, making it easier for the opposition, especially the ones in the CL, to press our midfield. I think the ideal solution for us is to play Dave at right-back and Luis at left-back, Luis is a player who I admire greatly and I don't have a clue how he is not starting for us. I think Jose's inability to trust him in his first season, and blinding himself with Ivanovic's occasional goals have been the reason. It was obvious Luis was going to take time to settle in, more obvious when you're defender and we all know how hard it must be to settle to the fast paced game of England. Luis presses incredibly well, is a good one on one defender and is very good with the ball. I really want him to succeed here.
-
I asked a Schalke fan about this and this was his reply. He is certainly a proactive defender which is what we're lacking at the moment. Interesting option, but for me Varane remains by far the best choice.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2957824/Chelsea-fans-teargassed-French-police-ahead-Champions-League-16-leg-draw-Paris-Saint-Germain.html Oh dear, I think its safe to assume a lot of our away fans yesterday were bunch of wankers. Bastards had it coming.
-
While I do think these people are horrible cunts, being racist doesn't mean they are not fans. Overall, I think they should be banned from attending every Chelsea game for the rest of their lives.
-
Mourinho is the man who's gathered all these players, making what could be argued one of the most balanced sides in Europe. However, I think despite the fact this is the team that he has built, he is also the one who is preventing it from reaching its full potential. Today we played a good PSG side, not great, but the way we played we made them look like top class. This was a winnable game through and through and their defense showed vulnerability whenever we moved forward, which we rarely did. Mourinho's teams have been always great at counter-attacking, this Mourinho team, however, is surprisingly horrible at it. I wouldn't have that much of a problem with playing defensively if we would actually try to counter attack. Our players mostly just hoof the ball down the pitch, even when we try to counter-attack we lose the ball easily because of how slow we move the ball.

Verratti two-footed challenge only a yellow? Also take in the fact he should have been booked already. How Geezer didn't get a yellow in this match I'll never know.

Fucking disgraceful cunts. http://www.theguardian.com/football/video/2015/feb/17/chelsea-fans-prevent-black-man-boarding-paris-metro-video?CMP=share_btn_tw

At fault for the first goal, nearly gifted Ibra the 2nd by backing off like a dumbass, but he will avoid criticism because of his flick assist.
