Completely different situation. We're talking about Chelsea here not the national team. and Hazard is miles ahead of Oscar in terms of ability and consistency, not to mention that he doesn't disappear against the big teams.
-
He hasn't been in form for half of his Chelsea career... Also enough with the "fatigue" excuse. It has been used too much to camouflage Oscar's poor performances in the past. First season he was "fatigued" because of the olympics. Second season he was fatigued due to the confed cup and then went awol after three months due to the World Cup being on his mind. Now this season he's again fatigued ? Even though Ivanovic, Terry, Hazard, Fabregas, Matic and Cahill have all played more minutes then Oscar. The excuses have to stop. 6 goals and 7 assists is a really good return but those numbers aren't good enough to ignore his actual performances on the pitch and his performances on the pitch aren't good enough for a team like Chelsea. He's still as inconsistent now as he was in his first season here. That's just unacceptable.

Okay then... Think you're forgetting about Koke and Isco. Pogba might not be a cam but is Oscar really a cam ? He plays more like a B2B player then a cam. So imo Pogba would slot in just fine. Also plenty of players out there that might worsen our pressing game a little but improve our attacking game. I mean what's the point of winning the ball back if you can't play a simple fucking pass ? I'd rather then have a player there that's not gonna win the ball back as many times but actually creates something when he does have the ball. Have you seen our players ? This is one of the best teams we've had in decades. Did you actually see us play. We played like sh*t for the entire tournament. We barely beat Algeria, Russia and South-Korea. No disrespect to those teams but they are poor teams. Needed extra time to beat USA (again sorry but not a good team) and went out against Argentina.

A tactically incompetent manager is Belgium's problem. "Modric and that is it" You can't seriously think that. Please tell me you're joking.
-
What ? Played plenty of games where he was sulking and didn't seem to care at all.
-
I don 't think we would have missed Costa that much if Remy had played. Drogba shouldn't be starting games for us anymore. Cesc i agree we really missed him. We just simply don't have any player that can do what Fabregas does for us. We just don't have that player in our squad, a player that can find players in space and move the ball quickly and the problem only gets worse when you add Oscar into the mix.

"The Serbian international was then virtually flawless in the 1-1 draw against City" VIRTUALLY FLAWLESS ! ??? Seriously, WTF.

His father is his agent now.

My point was that he wouldn't put up the same stats for us as he does now for Wolfsburg. There's a difference between performing at a club like Wolfsburg, in the BL, compared to performing at a club like Chelsea, in the PL. PL>BL. Chelsea>Wolfsburg. Honestly i agree that Mourinho should have played him more. I think we could have definitely used him but seriously some people are acting like we just lost out on Messi or something. It so annoying everytime an ex player does well we have people bitching about it. It was a WC year and he wasn't getting much gametime so he wanted to leave and we sold him. The end. Get over it. I don't feel any animosity towards De Bruyne for wanting to leave just as i don't have any real regret for us selling him.
-
He wouldn't be as good here as he is at Wolfsburg to be honest. He struggles when he's not the main man imo. In order to get the best out of him he needs to be at the centre of it all and he simply isn't good enough to be given the main role at a club like Chelsea.

Greedy bastard...

Disagree with that. After this game there are still 15 PL games or 45 points to win. Is it an important game ? Definitely. Championship decider ? No for me. It's not worth the risk for me. Fabregas is a very important player for us but in this game, due to the way we're going to play, Ramires can replace Fabregas.( in his own way ofcourse) Like i said before i'd rather miss Fabregas for 1 game then have him do his hamstring and miss multiple games.
-
I wouldn't risk playing him tbh. The way i look at it tommorow worst case scenario is, we lose. Gap goes from 5 to 2. Not the end of the world. We'd still be 2 points in front with City having a more difficult schedule then ours. I'd rather we miss him now then try and rush him back, make his hamstring worse and miss more games.

Well Robben does score more but i think Hazard creates more chances then Robben. Robben looks more to cut inside and go for the shot himself while Hazard is more about passing the ball to other players on the edge of the box so they can have a shot at goal. They're both inverted wingers but with different ways of playing that role. Hazard also plays in a superior league. PL > BL. I also think Hazard has taken a big step forward this season. He's alot more consistent then he was last season. I don't think it's such a controversial thing to say but everyone's entitled to their opinion ofcourse. He was. Really strange that Messi ended up being named the best player. Robben definitely deserved it more. Hazard didn't have a good WC but i felt he was exhausted by the long season he had. Still feel it was a stupid decision from our National coach to not give him any extra rest before the WC but ah well.

Don't really appreciate the "You are clearly a fan" could say the same about you regarding Oscar... You don't agree with what exactly? That Hazard creates more chances then Oscar ? That a lot of Hazard's dribbles are dangerous ? I'd rather you be more specific about it. When you say "those two " do you mean Messi and Ronaldo or Robben and Ribery ? If you mean Messi, Ronaldo then i agree but then again every player is far behind Messi and Ronaldo. If you mean Robben, Ribery then i stand by what i said "that i think Hazard has been just as good as them (Robben, Ribery) this season".
-
Hazard A.K.A "flashiness and dribbles" creates more chances then Oscar A.K.A "simple passes and throughball here and there". That was my point as your last sentence in your post seemed to indicate that you were annoyed with the fact that flashiness and dribbles (Hazard) was getting more recognition then simple passes and throughballs (Oscar). Maybe i misinterpreted ? There are indeed but i was talking more specifically about Hazard's dribbling(and flashiness) in comparison with Oscar's qualities. I think we can agree though that a lot of Hazard's dribbles aren't inconsequential. A lot of his dribbles create danger, create space, create chances. True but in all fairness Messi and C. Ronaldo are both out of category. Apart from those 2 there really isn't anyone else that can get close to their level of consistency and amount of goals achieved/scored in the last couple of years. When comparing Hazard i think it's best to compare him to the "lesser gods" below Messi and Ronaldo (Robben, Ribery,...). I don't think he's far behind those players. I would even argue that he's been just as good as them this season.
-
There's a reason for that, "flashiness and dribbles" creates far more chances then "simple passes and a throughball here and there."
-
Defensive liability. Deserves credit for the goal but what the hell was he thinking on that Moreno chance ? Just ran out of the the defensive line to go press a player that didn't even have the ball.
-
Sorry but looked intentional both times. Don't really understand the logic of "he wasn't looking at them so it wasn't deliberate" As if he didn't know they were there. He knew Skrtel had gone down in front of him and he knew Can was on the ground in front of him. Only thing i'd say is that if they ban Costa, why wasn't Skrtel retrospectively banned for his elbow on Costa at Anfield ?

WEMBLEY BABY !!!

I think he means in the big games.
