  1. Haha "keep it classy". That's funny coming from you. You constantly make cheap digs at Belgian fans and Belgian players and are then suprised when Belgian members think you're a cunt ? So how about you follow your own advice. If you talk in a more respectable way about belgian players and fans then we'll talk in a more respectable way towards you. You reap what you sow buddy.
  2. Early dementia setting in ? Would explain a lot.
  3. ? 2 weeks ago it was reported we made a 32 m + 3 m add ons. Weird.
  4. Just ridiculous how you belittle the role Hazard and basically every player that's played under Mourinho had in winning those trophies. A manager is important but it's the players that win trophies on the field not the manager. I see no point in continuing this. Freaking delusional.
  5. 1 player doesn't win you anything but 1 manager according to you is apparently the main reason we won the title. Mourinho's tactics in the second half of the season ,which was parking the bus, wouldn't have worked without Hazard. Hazard was vital to us winning the title that's not glorifying that's just stating a fact. We won 2 trophies but there were plenty of negatives which you seem to be unable to accept. "And has had a hand in every trophy won in the last 10 years." Now who's doing the glorifying. Pretty sure the managers and players that were actually here when we won those trophies had more to do with it then Mourinho did. TSO, christ just call him Mourinho he hasn't been TSO for quite some time.
  6. Mourinho could have strenghted our defence he chose not to and to focus on our right wing as we made mutiple signing for our right wing. Mourinho seemed quite content with our defence at the time. ( We bought Filipe Luis yet Mourinho didn't see any need to get Ivanovic out of the lineup and switch Azpi to the other side.) I didn't see anything recognisable in our attack that made me think "this has been drilled ". It all seemed so random. Players just improvising on the spot. A solid defence and midfield is important but Mourinho neglected our attack far too much imo. He seemed more concerned with covering up our weaknesses rather then actually attacking the opponents weaknesses. Azpi and Ivanovic on the fullback positions, Willian on the right wing basically playing right wing back to cover Ivanovic, Oscar a defensive 10 to cover for Fabregas playing in our midfield. All defensive decisions that hus us in attack. He managed to win the title because Hazard was in the form of his life and dragged us across the finish line. In the second part of our title winning season we were completely dependent on Hazard carrying our attack. The negatives are pretty obvious to see especially when you don't have your head in the sand.
  7. Don't agree with that. While there are similarities between Conte and Mourinho there are some significant differences on a tactical level. Conte wants his teams to build from the back while Mourinho's teams rarely do. Conte also clearly drills his players on what to do when attacking and what off the ball runs to make in certain situations. His teams seem a lot better synced with each other. Our team, under Mourinho, has always looked like they were improvising everything when they were attacking. When up against a defensive team plan A always seemed to be just pass it to Hazard and hope he does something with it. Rather then trying to break them down by an organised team effort Mourinho seemed to rely heavily on individual moments of brilliance. Then there's also the defensive side where Conte seemed to prefer keeping a higher line and actually pressing the opposition while Mourinho is more then happy to have his team sit deep in front of their own goal. Mourinho coaches his team well on the defensive side but not much on the attacking side while Conte coaches his team as ferociously on the defensive side as he does on the attacking side. Maybe you and other people will have a different view on this but when i look at Conte's team they attack as a team, they defend as a team and they press as a team. Under Mourinho i never saw that even in the first half of our title winning season.
  8. Drama queen. As long as Conte doesn't bring us 1 point from relegation and leaves our medical staff alone he should be fine. Get over it. Mourinho was rightly sacked. 1 point from relegation after 16 games. Conte's football might not be the most entertaining there is but it's lightyears ahead of the shit on a stick football we got served, by Mourinho, for most of his time here.
  9. Injured his groin again vs Italy. Marc Wilmots said it's the same injury he had with us. Not good at all, will likely be playing with painkillers again. Almost hoping we go out early so he can get a proper rest.
  10. Already said that i consider the "son of a bitch" to be a general insult about the situation rather then a personal one towards Carneiro. Yeah sure buddy you're not biased at all. Really is that why we offered them £1.2 million to settle. Which they rejected by the way. Clearly they have a case otherwise we wouldn't be offering them that kind of money to settle and if they didn't have a case they would have simply accpeted it. I really don't see any point in continuing this argument.
  11. Really ? "bitchy" expression ? That's what you're using as an excuse for punishing her ? Pretty sure if you were getting yelled at by somebody you wouldn't look happy. The thing is they did have a general understanding of what was going on. Hazard was face down on the ground after getting kicked in the stomac/groin area. The referee had called the medical staff over twice. There was no way they could have known what the extent of Hazard's injuries were. It's ridiculous that Mourinho had a go at the medical staff when they were clearly just doing their job. Of course she wants more money. She and her lawyer know they have a strong case and will easily get more money out of this.
  12. He was clearly venting his frustrations at our medical staff. He went to them and was clearly upset with them. He then called them naive in his post match interview and didn't allow them to sit on the bench the next games. I don't think Carneiro was "sexually harassed" as i agree that the" son of a bitch" could have been used in a more general insult towards the situation and wasn't specifically meant for Carneiro. My main problem with this incident was that Fearn and Carneiro both weren't allowed to sit on the bench the next games. I can understand that in the heat of the moment Mourinho's frustrations got the better of him but why punish them afterwards ? They simply did their jobs. There was no need to punish them for it.
  13. Lol sure, has nothing to do with Mourinho venting his frustrations at our medical staff who at the end of the day were just doing their jobs and then afterwards acting like a child by not allowing them to sit on the bench again the next game. Mourinho brought all of this on himself.
  14. Imo he's like Ramires (workrate and pace) but with better all around ability and better positional awareness.
  15. I don't think so. I remember the same thing was said when Mourinho was confirmed as our manager. People were also worried that Hazard would struggle under Mourinho because he wasn't a "Mourinho player" (high workrate) but Hazard ended up being a key player for Mourinho and played his best season under him. Conte gets described as a manager that changes his formation to suit the players he has available so i doubt he's going to shoehorn Hazard into a role that would take away a large part of his attacking game next season. Despite Hazard's poor season he's still our best attacking player in the squad. Pretty sure Conte would want to bring out the best rather then force him into a role that would limit his influence on our attacking game. Ofcourse every player needs to work under Conte. Conte doesn't really seem to do free roles. Even as a striker Hazard would have to drop a bit deeper to like you say help out our midfielders so they don't get outnumbered but he could share that burden with Costa. (or maybe Costa could drop deep while Hazard stays higher) I still think that the role of second striker is less taxing then as a wide midfielder. Wide midfielders have to drop deeper as fullbacks push up really high but DM's usually won't push up that high. Even if they do, one of the fullbacks or one of the other midfielders would have to drop back to make sure they aren't playing man to man at the back. No team in the world plays man to man at the back. Managers always make sure they have a spare player in case they lose the ball and get countered. Having said all that i actually believe a 4-3-3 would be better. 2 fullbacks pushing up high allowing Hazard and Willian to drift inside. 3 man midfield with a strong DM (Kante ?), Fabregas and a strong box to box player (Nainggolan ?). Like you say though pure speculation as we don't know what formation he actually wants to play.
  16. While it would make sense to get a player with an aerial presence to pair up with Costa i just don't see how we'd be able to keep a solid defensive shape with the rest of the remaining 8 field players, which would include both Hazard and Fabregas. 1 of them with 3 other hard working players could work but both of them ? No way. Hazard doesn't have the engine to keep going up and down that line while Fabregas can't cover the ground he'd need to cover if it was just three of them. If we do play a 2 striker system i can only see it working if Hazard is one of the 2 strikers and Fabregas is surrounded by players who are able to cover alot of ground.
  17. Yup, is his best position imo. Hope Wilmots plays him there. Hazard on the 10 just adds a bit more schwung to our attack. Also thought De Bruyne looked better when he was moved to the right wing and had a bit more space to express himself.
  18. Emenalo isn't and has never been in charge of player negotiations at Chelsea. I believe Marina Granovskaia is in charge of player negotiations.
  19. Yeah i get what you mean we're a long way from the likes of Barca, Real and Bayern. A lot of work to be done. Yeah agree with that. Would also prefer Koulibaly over Rudiger. "Oscar still remains as our #10 for next season. " God i hope not. I don't think he will though. Most likely formations for next season are a 4-4-2 or a 4-4-3. In the 4-4-2 i think Hazard and Costa would be our strikers with Pedro or Kenedy on the left and Willian on the right. I don't really see where Oscar would fit in other then as back up for Hazard as the second striker. In the 4-3-3 the only place he could fit would be as a CM and with Fabregas already playing in our midfield i think Conte will prefer defensively strong and physical players. I don't think we're going to sell Oscar but i can't see him starting for us.
  20. Do we really need another playmaker though ? Feel like we don't need any new additions to our attack, a back up striker for Costa but that's it. ( Remy is too injury prone, Falcao and Pato are simply not good enough) Other teams can buy all the shiny playmakers and strikers that they want, we have other needs imo.
  21. Yeah true but i'm not saying he's 100% going to join us i'm just saying that i consider him a realistic target. The choice will ofcourse be with Nainggolan whether or not he wants to move.
  22. Understand what you mean but i'm quite confident we'll get them. We're rumoured to have made bids for both but both bids were rejected and both Napoli and Roma simply want more money. That's good for us as it means they're okay with selling them and it's just a matter of upping our bids. Ofcourse it could be bs but the rumours around Nainggolan and Koulibaly seem to be a lot more concrete then the rest of the players we've been linked with. Didn't we sign Fabregas during the world cup ? We were linked with Hazard for years before we actually signed him. We were linked with Costa for months before we signed him. I remember we played Atletico in the CL and chelsea fans were chanting his name as we were being heavily linked with him. After months of speculation we finally signed him in July. No reason why Nainggolan wouldn't come here. Bonucci and Pogba fair enough. Those 2 are never gonna happen but i don't see us signing Nainggolan as unrealistic. It's not like that many teams are lining up for Nainggolan. If he comes to chelsea he would be going to a better team. Chelsea > Roma We can offer him more money. He'd be playing in a better league. PL > Serie A What exactly makes Nainggolan such an unrealistic target ?
