So why attend to promote a negative atmosphere then? Mourinho acted as if he did not care about the club tbh. ll the negative headlines he created, Carneiro and let's not forget it was Mourinho himself who criticised the fans so he is not this god like loyal person everyone thinks he is. If you are turning up to the match to jeer players, why don;t you just get tickets in the away end because they are not really supporting the team are they?
-
But is it fair that Mourinho is acted like a king in all of this yet the only players who can get us out this situation are jeered? It would be a much better atmosphere if our players and fans are on par. The fans at the stadium are doing their best to neglect that.
-
Well yeah, because why are they singing out Jose (who was a lot of the problem) yet booing the players. For me that is pathetic. Our best interest was not being involved in a relegation scrap and thankfully Abramovich addressed that.
-
Yeah, they do. But IMO, booing the players shows me there real interest is not for Chelsea but for an individual. I have been angry at decisions made and I will discuss them but jeering your players and trying to provide a toxic atmosphere is ridiculous. The fans have a right to be discontent but seriously how are they making things better by jeering the players who are the only ones physically who can get us out of this situation? I actually find it embarrassing and never thought we would stoop so low. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10105550/cesc-fabregas-may-be-affected-by-criticism-says-charlie-nicholas

Scored for Watford against Liverpool :blue scalf: :blue scalf: Excellent. Going from strength to strength there.
-
TBH, I would not be surprised if the double ZZ part was deliberately done so the Mourinho cult make it clear they think he is a snake. Maybe I am reading too much into it but I would not be surprised if they have played on the wording of his name to elaborate their point. Sad that they turn on Hazard just because it seems him and Mourinho were not seeing eye to eye. I am going to the Watford match next week and tbh I am quite embarrassed to be around fans that think it is alright to boo several of our players. Especially important ones like Hazard who it is more important we keep than Mourinho. Fans will only appreciate what they had until its gone.
-
Your missing the common denominator. Mourinho is not bigger than the club and that is what I think a huge chunk of fans have unofrtunately started to believe. There is more support going around in the stadiums and forums for him than the actual team. We were hovering 1 point above relegation and yeah players have been bad but people think Mourinho is this god when the truth is he deserved the sack. He definitely has a huge cult of followers though. More allegiances to him than the actual club. Just WOW.
-
How do you mean Lukaku was not in good form when we sold him? Lol. He came of a season where he scored goals galore for Everton at a young age. Also help me out Michael. When did Mata complain about not getting in the first team?
-
Come of it. Nothing is wrong with that. I think a huge majority would rather Mourinho's face was put on the shirt rather than the club crest. Maybe that would appease some people.
-
At least the players aren't as pathetic and putting out a performance we deserve.
-
Embarrassing that the fans still want to sing Mourinho yet boo our players. Talk about plastic seriously. Embarrassing. We need to get out of this mess and it would help with the club pulling together rather than segregating managers from players.
-
I can accept that tbh. We need the win. We have played the best football in the first half than we have done for any 90 minute game this season. Important to not get too complacent and make sure we secure the win.
-
I seriously can see Pedro going on a goalscoring spree now Jose is gone tbh.
-
In hindsight, if we had done this managerial change a few weeks ago I think we would have cruised past Bournemouth and possibly got points against Leicester too. Hindsight is a big thing. Anyway, no matter what people say, Mourinho got extended time to sort his mess out and that never happened. So happy to see a response and for once this season in the PL, we have actually had an excellent first half. No exaggeration. I have been waiting to see a first half like this all season.
-
He criticicized Hazard. Humiliated Matic. He backed them more last season than this season. Maybe it is not fair but as a whole I don't think is behaviour has been examplary this season and the way he treated certain players I did not agree with. You used to say this yourself before now.
-
Possibly. He threw players under the bus. Did not give much public backing to his players and I think most players have been panicking about what to do when they receive the ball. The atmosphere between players and manager was not good and that can provide a negative atmosphere. As I said before, I don't think it takes a genius to get us performing again. We have quality players here.
-
Toxic atmosphere and plus he never has been really one known for attractive football. Loving it.
-
Just like that! New bresh of fresh air. Players feel more freedom to express themselves and boom! Despite several players being booed, really happy that they have overcome that by putting in the right reaction.

And with all respect to Mourinho, Simeone's title win is a bigger success than Guardiola's and Mourinho's title win put together. Atletico lost Falcao and had to rebuild against the two major giants and while also balancing Europe. Costa, picking up a few hamstring injuries and the fact that he guided them to a title win with much less star studded players speaks volumes about his achievement. One of the best managers around in the game. Seriously DF. I like you and that but it is actually getting quite boring and annoyingly repetitive and is quite offensive with you calling one of our own players a cancer. I get you don't like him but until you have got absolute proof he has said that, you can calm down with those offensive insults. A matter of fact you have been calling him those words such as as 'cancer' before Nevin even said that. He has been poor and yes you have not liked him because of what he said during his gooners days but you take your hatred to another level. He is our player after all.
-
Amen. Mourinho can't do anything wrong for some people. It is actually embarrassing. People telling Hazard to fuck off yet they are not realising that Mourinho is the one who actually caused the disharmony amongst the club in the first place. Can't believe some of the rubbish I am seeing. If Hazard plays tomorrow the Mourinho camp will claim he is a player who feigned injury and that is proof of why he is back in the line up. He misses tomorrow then they will say he is trying to cover up for the fact he faked an injury by missing the following game. Actually embarrassing. I know Mourinho was a huge figure but wow, some really are more loyal with the man than the actual club.
-
Fair enough. You make a good point but while the players are hugely to blame, I just can't help but think a new manager will help change our fortunes around. Regarding who I want as the new coach, Simeone, if I had the choice and it would be possible purely because I think he gets the mix right with defence to attack. I love his counter attacking strategy at Atletico. Rigid defence but attack at such a venom and the fact that he won the title with Atletico and nearly won the UCL with the squad compared to others was a fantastic achievement. It would not be a surprise to see a repeat of that this season too and a key thing is I think players who play for him actually enjoy it and their is a huge rapport between managers and players.
-
Hazard has been here longer and season by season, bar this one we have seen him go from strength to strength. That is why I singled him out because he probably has a stronger affinity with the fans than the other players mentioned. And yeah I do think some of the abuse Fabregas gets by DF is OTT. I don't think there is no need for it. Because managers aren't players. Players are the one who decide matches. Managers will instruct them how to play the way they want and sadly with Mourinho, that was not working with us anymore. I was wanting him out from October but rather than be rash, they gave him a lot more time to rectify the mistakes and it did not work. It is common for managers and their ideas to eventually tire with one club and that is what I think was happening with us and it was best to part way whereas it is rare that world class players lose their ability overnight and when I see Hazard with 0 goals, Costa with 3, you have to look at their performances and say they have been shit but when you have numerous players underperforming, you can't get rid of all them and that is why the only other alternative is to let the manager go. Jose has not helped himself either with the way he has treated people associated with Chelsea as well which is why some people who don't like Mourinho have been giving him abuse.
-
The way some fans treat Hazard is disgusting as well. Hazard's performances have been poor but this is a player who was heads and shoulders above everyone in the league last season and rightfully so, won the POTY award and several other individuals honours too from club and non-club related matters. The 'form is temporary, class is permanent' concept should be really applied to Hazard. Instead of people supporting him and hoping he gets back to his best, which I hope he does, I have seen several people say if he and co start performing, it shows that they have no class etc, were not playing for Jose. I would like to see people get behind Hazard. Because it has been a difficult few months for him so far after an amazing season and some of the comments I have seen on Hazard has been disgusting. I think people need to realise that if we are going to progress this season and beyond that, keeping Hazard will actually be pivotal. As for anyone stating Jose was not a legend, I think you came to that idea on your own. I have not seen one person say that on here. I think he is a legend and I appreciate what he has done for us and he will always remain a true Chelsea legend but was it right for him to go? I say yes. I think everyone else who wanted Mourinho to go is in the same camp. We all know he is a Chelsea legend but now the decision has been made to move on which I beleive is the right one.
-
I am confused. IIRC was you not in the camp of wanting Mourinho to go. I know you have made vocal your slating of players. Most namely Fabregas and Ivanovic but I am sure before he was sacked you were stating he had to go.... Is it me or am I going mad? :carlo2:
-
I see so much people saying if the players start performing they will not be able to to forgive them etc. Does this mean you want us to continue losing and playing constant shit football? It would say a lot but I am praying we start seeing better football and results and will think that the fans are finally being rewarded for the dross we have watched for the past few months. Really baffled. I wonder if people said the same when AVB and RDM was in charge.
