  1. How many of us think Mikel is one of the most underrated holding midfielders? I really rate him as a midfielder, his distribution is brilliant, holds the ball up well and breaks up play differently. When people looked at Mikel as a weak link, many of these views are enhanced by the media. But now his game has totally improved, hence why RDM chose him as his preferred holding mid in the team, whereas AVB seemed to lose interest. I thought he was excellent in the FA Cup final and Champiions League wins. If it wasnt for the media I am sure people would be talking about Mikel as one of the best in his positions
  2. No way will Dortmund let another prized asset go. I am sure Kagawa will be the only one, they have just won the domestic double and want to progress not sell anymore but Blascykowski is a brilliant player, gives his all and is one of the fastest dribblers I have ever seen. Piszcek is a good right back as well
  3. Moses is a very talented player but not in the same league as Hulk. Moses has had a good season but to join a club like Chelsea will further his development but we have got other players who are around Moses ability already such as Sturridge, Marin and so on. Hulk is real quality and while the fee is heavily inflated the club is pressing ahead with star signings. Hulk will be an absolute menace to the premier league, was impressed with him in their match against Argentina yesterday as well. He has got pace, power, brilliant technique and more importantly gets goals. I really hope we wrap up this signing
  4. He would be a brilliant investment for the long term. A Chelsea supporter and considering the fact that Roman is Russian why not him. Plays in a no.10 role for CSKA but he has already shown that given a free role to work about in different positions for Russia he can excel brilliantly in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. Was really impressed though, shares the same birthday as me as well
  5. We send some of your young players to Vitesse to get vital experience. Kalas performed brilliant there and maybe mroe can go there. Definitely keeping our link with Vitesse would be in the club's best interest.
  6. Full agree, he is only 25 as well and has many years ahead of him to be a hit. Cavani has scored goals in every angle and there is nothing about him I would criticize him. Scores against big teams, big games, brilliant work rate and most importantly gets goals. What happens next season if Torres is going on a goalscoring drought "again"? We want to reach the top again and this is a signing that should be snapped up, if we got the chance, considering he is apparently cheaper than Falcao as well
  7. I agree witht the above post, considering Santi Cazorla who is ahead of him as well I think. Will be a shame though, that is why squad depth is vital. Marin/Hazard/Hulk look a fearful three even without Mata and if Hulk doesnt come we still have Sturridge and Ramires.
  8. If Moutinho comes I can't see him being a success either. Agree about Carvalho, was a world class defender and no more needs to be said about Mourinho, just the special one. On the other hand the 2 from Benfica, Ramires and Luiz will turn out to be club legends. They have both improved rapidly after some criticism and may it continue next season. Cahill and Luiz should be a good battle, providing Terry is fit
  9. Other than Hulk, any maybe Danilo who looks a very good player, I don't want us to be signing any Porto player over £15m again. The amount of staff/ managers and players we have got from them who havent even been brilliant hits is amazing considering the fee they were brought in for. Must be a spell they cast on clubs
  10. I Would let him play as well. A bit unfair on the lad, I can understand if it was a striker or someone but even we choose not to allow him to play, they have a perfect backup in Asenjo. He has been part of the team throughout their Uefa Cup run. We should not deny him from playing in my opinion, will be harsh
  11. Why do we need him? We have Ramires/Mikel/Lampard/Meireles/Mceachran and Romeu. He is a quality player though but can't see it
  12. Kakuta can become a brilliant player, he always shows glimpses of it. He just has not been successful in his loan clubs at the premier league. But he has a good variety of skills, dribbling and passing and as he gets older may prove useful for Chelsea. Farm him out on loan to the Prem or abroad again and keep faith in him
  13. We don't need Muller. They have been trophy less for 2 seasons and he has not really contributed that much, hence why he has been dropped. I don't think Chelsea are interested in him at all, just newspaper stories.
  14. It would be sad to see Kakuta leave. Such a talented player, maybe needs more of a finishing product but got a few on loan at Dijon. He has brilliant potential and got a range of passing, would be good for him to go out on loan to a Premiership team again and see what he is made of this time after an unsuccessful lone spell at Bolton. Maybe a Swansea type of team could suit him but I reckon he offers a lot more than some of our players, he is young and we will have to be patient but just look at some of his clips on youtube, brilliant talent
  15. Cavani is the perfect striker, will be cheaper than Falcao and has a proven record and has already scored 2 goals against us this season. Juventus seem to be in pole position for his signature but we were linked with him although those rumours have calmed down recently. He is much better than Torres IMO though, and would be a brilliant investment for us
  16. He shall most definitely stay at Atletico. Better team and also will be playing in Europe again with a team he already is accustomed to
  17. TBH with Lukaku when I saw his record at Anderlecht and his age you wouldnt of really thought £18m was bad for a player that could potentially be one the world's deadliest strikers. Next season lets hope he gets a decent loan and as people say not Stoke. Tony Pulis buys players and just rotates them, wouldnt develop him at all. Maybe he has not made the progress we all have expected but next season lets hope he proves a point. The worst thing to happen would be for Chelsea to sell him then he goes scoring off, he is only just turned 19 so he has got years ahead of him and hopefully we will be talking his name with the likes of Drogba in a few years. Maybe he will be Arsenal's new nemesis
  18. He could brush up on his physical side however he had more chances of playing for Chelsea last season than the upcoming one. Going to be tremendously hard for him. Will have to see who is appoitned and what plans they have for him. I am thinking a loan to Villa wouldnt be bad but I don't want the same situation as Swansea again
  19. Afraid to say, but I can only agree with you. He didnt get that much starts down there but I wasn't impressed with McEachran down at Swansea when he played. He is getting to an age where he needs first team football and unfortunately for him, I can;='t see it being at Chelsea, especially with the statements we are making in signings. Hope we get Dembele btw at some point, fantastic player. I agree about Piazon, he has looked very good in matches sometimes but nowhere near the first team however in the reserves and U18 he has been the best player, but few years he will be even better and should be ready for the first team. Seen Lewis Baker a few times, but seems no different to Josh IMO, nothing brilliant but John Swift looks very promising when I have seen him play, almost like a Ramires type player. Chalobah looks the best coming from the U18. Maybe it is best for Piazon to go out on loan Tough when you are a youngster at a club like Chelsea but there is always hoope, Bertrand is showing that and there are decent ones coming through as we have already mentioned. However with Josh he will be 20 next year and not sure if the manager thinks he will be good enough and may have to move on to pastures new
  20. Torres at the end of the day is a grown proffesional footballer. I hate it when I hear this bull**** about he is no longer in Drogba's shadow. He had many opportunities and rarely scored, nothing to do with Drogba. He just is no way near the quality where he was at Liverpool. Keep him for rotation or so but a huge gamble for the whole season. I would like Cavani but who knows what else the board has got in mind. Hulk/Torres would not be bad though but ideally to reach next level we should buy a new striker
  21. Don't you get it? He does not score enough goals and in Drogba's departure we can't rely on him. He just is not prolific enough anymore, I would take Cavani or Falcao easily. Next season we need him to score goals, not make excuses about his crosses because he has been bought to to put the ball in the back of the net
  22. Hulk will not be Drogba's replacement for sure however if we choose not to buy Falcao or Cavani and stick with Torres and he is not on form I guess Hulk will be a useful addition upfront. Personally I reckon we should buy another striker. Torres has been given too many chances
  23. They are long gone now if you're thinking about catching them
  24. He has deleted his twitter account fow now anyway, so hopefully he can stop annoying people on twitter and focus on his football
