Not exactly, some of them need to gain fitness and the goalie, most of the defence and the 2 holding mids are likely to be back up this season

Ashley Cole is a legend

Completely agree like imagine we did not have Drogba last season. If we only had Torres we would have struggled as Drogba had to help out so much times when Torres wasnt firing. If that happens this season then we have either a young player who plays there but maybe needs to go out on loan and another one who isnt proven he can play as a striker at us. I know if Torres misfires next season the question will be "why did we not buy another striker"? and I certainly will be one of those as well as although Torres showed glimpses of his former self last season he was largely inconsistent and invisible while Cavani is just a brilliant striker and would love to have him here but looks unlikely.

From what he has shown in this match, this is why I would love a player like this in my team. He is a brilliant player, I don't see that much guys who muscle out Richards, him and Neymar have been excellent
-
Thanks for that. Maybe it is that the board are thinking of cashing in on him in future for better profit but like you, I don't see how he is going to have a major influence. Eden said his younger brother is more talented but maybe that is just to hype him up but who knows?
-
As much as I am excited with our signings, this is uneeded and is unfair on the young players we have already like I have stated. We also want Moses, Oscar, where the hell are Piazon going to feature if he is apparently our "brightest prospect". Is it maybe to keep Eden company or what but I don't feel this move is necessary. Anyone know what the fee is for the player?

Essien may not be as good as he used to be but he didnt do that bad tonight, thought he was decent and didnt lose possesion and did his trademark runs quite a few times
-
Hazard, Mata and Marin can be a deadly combo and frighten the life out of any team. *Lips sealed*
-
Hope Kakuta can make a mark in these friendlies
-
Hilario is awful woow. I just remember the game at home against City a few seasons back where we lost 4-2, he was at fault for most goals. Not convinced about our backup goalies at all. Wish we had Begovic here or someone better back up than Hilario and Turnbull That turn by Hazard was out of this world
-
That is quite harsh tbh
-
Josh has looked so good on the ball, been really impressed and that goal from Lukaku reminds me of his Anderlecht days, the way he just overpowered defenders.Brilliant finish from Lukaku, hope he can prove a point. Marin has impressed me so far as well

Thorgon Hazard is a talented player but sometimes as much as I am excited about the transfers I wish our board would stop wanting to buy every single talent out there. Do we really need Thorgan Hazard? No. He is 19 years of age, very young but how many other young players do we have as attackers for the future, it is unfair on them just keep buying players because they are talented. Working with young players takes time. We have Kakuta, Piazon, Lalkovic, Davila who we have bought who suddenly is forgotten about, don't no how good Bamford is but we bought him for a reason then there is De Bruyne and maybe Moses. Piazon is one of our most talked about youngsters and with the amount of talent we have with the expected signings of Oscar, where is he going to find his opportunities? If Thorgon does come here I certainly would support him but the young talent we have got here are more than good enough to develop into good players.

Your right, Dembele is a striker but since he has excelled as a deep lying playmaker, Jol sees him best here. He may not be guaranteed but he would definitely get more game time there. I still would like to see him at a Sunderland kind of team, who I believe could do with a striker like Lukaku
-
Reports suggesting Lukaku may be set for a loan move to Fulham. Would be supportive of this move if he is guaranteed first team starts on a regular. I think he would though as they only have 1 recognised striker in Rodallega who only managed 2 league goals last season and although Dempsey was play in the striker role last season, he may be on his way to Liverpool. But getting a season loan at another premiership team like Fulham doesnt sound bad so he can prove what he can do

One of the most exciting seasons I am looking forward to as a Chelsea fan. Funny how every season some people say Chelsea's squad is too ageing but we have brilliant talents coming throught as well. Really look forward to seeing Oscar here. It is not just like we have used our "oil money" to buy talents such as Hazard and Oscar but it is well earnt revenue from the Champions League which people have to recognise will help us when it comes to the FFP rules. That win earnt us over £45m alone. The future looks brilliant and can't wait to see Oscar in a Chelsea shirt, just wonder where we are likely to see him play with Mata and Hazard around, in home games where we are clear favourites I would like to see them all playing together

Woow, mate seriously it is not wise to always trust everything from the newspaper. This is an untrue rumour. Adam Maher is an AZ player and is not looking to leave at this moment of time and Eriksen has already confirmed he is staying at Ajax this season. I dont understand why newspapers like the Mirror are making this up but it is rubbish. Maher has not even been in negotiations with Ajax whilst Eriksen will be 100% staying this summer as he still has much to learn from Ajax, but yes Eriksen is a brilliant player

I never called him racist and I am pleased he has fought his battle, there was a lack of evidence tbh but now at least we can focus on football matters solely. No need for the point scoring tbh, it was a serious matter and people were entitled to their opinions. However Ferdinand is very lucky to get away with what he had said because bringing in personal life matters is a huge lack of disrespect. People will still have their doubts over whether he said it or not but glad it is all over now anyway
-
Regarding of our feelings for him as a captain/player of the club this is a totally different issue. I am black myself and will never change my attitude to Terry on the pitch as he is one of the most enthusiastic, never die captains you just want in your team and one of the best CB in Europe but when personal insults are made which is reported, he deserves to be punished. People here should not really be insulting Ferdinand, as he has been the one who has been getting death threats and is the reported victim on this case. I am not going to say "I hope Terry is found not guilty because he plays for Chelsea". This is a serious matter and I hope Chelsea fans feel the same way as me because racism has no place in football. I don't believe Terry is racist but did he make a racist remark in the match, I believe so.

This is quoted from some link I read on the bleacher report, someone who knows more about the player than most of us and regarding by what I have read here looks like a potentially brillaint signing awaiting us "Chelsea's latest signing is that of Brazilian midfielder Oscar, who the club picked up from Internacional in the last few days. Make no mistake, this is a massive signing for the club. Oscar will start for the Blues, despite being only 20-years-old. Ed Malyon at the Daily Mirror highlights exactly what Blues fans are to expect from the midfield sensation next season. That is, something brilliant. Oscar might have only netted 10 goals in 23 appearances for Internacional ("only"), but his impact at the club will be in the attacking midfield role. He will play a similar role to that of Luka Modric at Tottenham. He is able to explode into attack and destroy his opponents, but also play his teammates in for goal-scoring opportunities. Oscar has been compared to world football legend Kaka, and will no doubt be a star of the English Premier League for several years to come."

Iniesta was brilliant and voted best player of the tournament but other than that I agree with you
-
I was just about to write that lol, but agreed
-
I have always stood by Mikel and always highly rated him. His possession of the ball is brilliant, as is his anticipation. His lack of attacking play, therefore meaning he often comes deep to collect the ball allows the team to score goals as he builds up these attacks whilst providing a safe guard in front of our defense. His brilliant balance makes it hard for players to get past him and sometimes plays the odd brilliant pass as shown in the video above

I am fully supportive of this, as I said in previous posts he is the brightest talent coming through our youth ranks, he has so much qualities and if we can enhance his learning potential it would definitely be to send him out on loan where he is going to have first team opportunities. Despite Chalobah's young age and being 2 years younger than Mce he is well suited to a championship team IMO. He looks very young still, but he has quite brilliant posture. Even when he started a couple friendlies for us last pre-season, he looked quite decent. Him being the youngest in the England U19 squad, has helped them reach the final and rarely looks out of place in reserves To sum up, whilst he is very young and he is almost certain to be a future Chelsea star, if he can experience first team football at a level of the championship that will do him wonders, as he is way past the quality of youth level and this would be a much needed step up rather than reserves. However as, RDM is aware of if we send him out on loan to a championship team, we have to make sure he will get playing time as a lost year sitting on the bench will prove costly, however I hope a move does happen as I believe he is ready for a crack at this level
-
That is not that bad IMO, considering we would have to pay around £40m for Falcao. He still has another 3-4 seasons in him, if he stays fit I can't see any reason why he will not stay fit and continue on form. Torres use to have his inury problems himself but has got over it. Hulk ideally would be a good fit because of his versitality but foor us to improve our league position we need another striker IMO with proven experience in front of goal
