What I find funny for people who are claiming he is a one season wonder is that he was injured for parts of last season and a lot of times on the bench but still scored more goals than Torres. That is what fascinates me

Considering RVP should be a Man United imminently it looks like Hernandez will be their 4th choice striker. Quality striker he is and if he was available I would take him any time. Although I doubt United will sell him, he would be a quality addition and a player who doesnt need more than one chance to put the ball in the back of the net. But remember his age, it is not easy to just throw someone of the bench and expect them to bang in a goal or 2. He is very young and wasn't given enough minutes even when coming on as a sub. He was very prolific in the reserves league however not is level and deserved to be playing higher competitive football. I don't think we handled him well. For instance in cup games he originally started then when pressure was on AVB he started Torres/Drogba and had no faith in Lukaku and that probably brought his confidence down.

Exactly if United and City have llike four quality strikers then why don't we add another quality striker. Torres knows he is at a top club, he has not been consistent and we have every right to buy another WC striker. The people who back Torres are same ones who criticize Sturridge which annoys me

Looks like a 3-4-1-2 lineup for City. Turning to Italian style of play for Mancini looks like. I reckon we definitely can exploit the wide areas especially on the RW, where Ramires is very useful

On paper IMO having only Torres and Sturridge as recognised strikers looks worrying for us. However I do expect us to buy, if we don't there are other alternatives. Maybe not as fluid play as Barca but a 4-3-3 style playing Hazard in same role as Messi. Hazard said himself he could see himself doing this in the future, the role as a trequartista and I reckon he could do well in a shift here. He played the same role for Belgium against England and maybe RDM has this consideration up his sleeve

This would be a perfect game for Sturridge to come on in the CF role and show what he can do if Torres gets subbed. He says he wants to play here and maybe he has a point.

We don't need that pressure on him just yet. Most of us have only seen him in the olympics, it is a big fee for a youngster yes but the Premier League is a total different propisition where your decisions need to be quicker and wiser and much more physical. Exerting pressure on him will put him under pressure. But I agree with you, he looks very talented player but we havent seen any of him in the PL yet

Well it didnt quite work out at Swansea and just look at the case of Bertrand who spent a period in the Championship. The idea that Josh is going to be our next star and pushing too far with him etc looking for solely premiership clubs is maybe pressuring him. He is still young and the Championship would be good for him to get some good first team action and improve. The league is quite competitive and he would get more game time there
