Bright future and a lot of people on paper may think, guaranteed starter because he is an £18m player coming from Chelsea to West Brom but Long and Odemwingie IMO still may sometimes be Clarke's preferred starting strikers. That will really piss me of though, because I know he can get starts at many other premier league teams. Anyway Steve Clarke hopefully believes Lukaku will be a vital addition to his squad this upcoming season. But considering Long's injury problems and Odemwingie's uncertain future hopefully he has a very successful season there and has mentioned already I hope he is not in the same scenario as Kakuta where he is looked to be loaned out season after season
-
I wouldnt mind Lukaku going to a premierleague club if he is going to get games every week but I still think he is capable of going on loan to a European team who are competing in either the Champions League/Europa League as well. Maybe it would be more beneficial that he stays within the premier league but I look at most of the Premier League teams and I am surprised that Sunderland have not been mentioned. They are crying out for a striker and he would be ideal down there
-
Have you also heard of the likes of Borini, Sinclair and so much others who you would of said the same thing. IMO as the years go on Kane will develop well but like the rest we have released or sold, I think he will end up moving on
-
Don't no anything about this guy tbh but find it harsh that now it seems Kane will be overlooked for the future. He is a decent RB who I thought had a bright future at us, considering he travelled with the squad to the US. Him and Wallace are the same age so I gues sthat means Kane won't ever make it as future RB
-
Yes, returned to training yesterday. Spain were knocked out olympics early lucky for us
-
Moses is younger than Kalou as well and watching the two player in a few years Moses will be a much better player than Kalou and Moses certainly impressed against the big teams last season
-
So Whelan confirms Moses wants to join us and he will not stand in his way, good for him. This signifies to me RDM will not buy a striker until January if not the whole season and therefore we will see Sturridge more centrally this season and Moses perhaps replacing him on the wings. Hope he will turn out to be a success here if the move finalises. As he develops he can have the full package if he lives up to it, pace, trickery, strength and hopefully more goals
-
Watching how we have shaped up pre-season I am definitely in favour of a move for Moses for a different dimension. Ramires is one of my favourites but sometimes is useless on the RW unless we are counter-attacking. He is very direct and can play both wings wnd judging by the amount of fixtures and injuries we may pick up, he would be a useful addition. Not only that, after N'Zogbia left he took over the main man role there and was brilliant and at a team like us surrounded by better players he may not play as much but he will definitely improve as a player IMO

That is why it is labelled "wishlist" mate. I doubt he would come here but it doesnt stop me wanting to see him here. Dortmund recently said they would consider if it was a very good offer, United have heavily been linked with him
-
2 goals for Dortmund in their 60 min tournament today. What a quality striker he is, sure he is going to be banging in the goals for fun again this season. Would love to see him at the Bridge

I don't think you have seen what I have posted then. "Three games lost in a row, does this look good going into the season, NO. Remember just before beginning of 10/11 we lost three consecutive friendlies against Ajax, Frankfurt and Hamburg. Oh, the guess what, we had the community shield a week later against Man United. What was the score, 3-1 United. Did we go on to win anything that season? No we did not, so we can't just ignore pre-season games, judging by what I have seen a lot of work needs to be done and as shown in previous years as I have mentioned, we need to look at these games and see where we went wrong. Because judging by our defence pre-season, even against the likes of Seattle was appalling and imagine against the likes of Silva, Tevez and Aguero. Hope we improve starting from next week"
-
Look at my previous posts mate. 10/11 and we lost CS and finished trophyless
-
I am fucking pissed off with the result have to admit. Regardless that it is a pre-season game we are the Champions League winners, fielded a very strong team and would like to see some pride at least for god sake. Three games lost in a row, does this look good going into the season, NO. Remember just before beginning of 10/11 we lost three consecutive friendlies against Ajax, Frankfurt and Hamburg. As Cundy said, Ramires is ineffective if you stand up to him while he is on the ball as he does not have the dribbling abilities. He is only good on the counter, for games where we might expect to lose out on possesion is the only times I want to see him on the RW
-
Torres has actually been decent today despite not being on the scoresheet. Can definitely see why Hazard said he likes playing centrally and not wide because he gets on the ball more behind the striker but looks rather invisible sometimes on the wings
-
Ramires should of done a much better ball there, not just he lazy delivery. If Hulk was there he would be so unpredictable, he could cut it onto his favourite foot and blast it or even look for the pass but Ramires is looking to predictable out on the RW. It is not his natural position to be fair to him anyway
-
Come on Hazard, want to see more from you this game
-
Regardless of doubts of Torres, credit where credit is due and that was a brillaint dummy. Good play from Ramires as well and Lampard has looked very good this pre-season so far, double figures again hopefully
-
The only reason to be fair Torres is being kept at Chelsea is because the fee we bought him for and fact of his rep at previous clubs. I am for keeping him but regardless I want to see another striker if we are going to make a serious title challenge
-
This is where I worry for Torres. Regardless if he scores, I am getting the same vibes as last season. He looks invisible for so much of the game. This lowers his confidence if he does not touch the ball. Apart from the one header he has not been involved in play, the same I saw last season then he would get subbed of. When we play higher calibre teams in the premier league it will even be more tougher. This is why I would support a move for Hulk, he is versatile and links up with play very well
-
There is no way we will spend over £30m for him to be on the bench. He would definitely be a starter, I am sure
-
3rd kit is stunning!
-
No, Mikel instead of Essien if you are looking at a 4-3-3
-
Bridcutt has developed quite well since leaving us, plays today. Got potential to be a permanent fixture in the premier league IMO
-
He also provides us with the odd goals, some long rangers, like the Benfica one, what a finish that was even he could of played in Ramires I like players like him who are willing to give it a go
