What stupid sort comment is that. You are judging him on one game against the leaders. He is only 18, relax ffs.

Guess who just scored for Leverkusen

Sub today. Can only assume it is for emotional reasons about his dad going jail, as I am sure he would start this match.
-
No chance. Ferreira is not going to start. We don't play with a diamond and it will be either Ba or Torres, not both, I am assuming Ba will start.

I am for this move. He, like Moses offers something a bit different from Mata and Oscar in that he is very direct and has a powerful shot and is a goal threat.. He is only 22 and for those who are saying he is not all that good are wrong. He is just 2 goals short of double figures in the league and contributes a few assists as well. On the other hand we do have KDB. At least if he is offered on loan, the board hopefully envisage some place for him in the team in the future. Maybe they see him as a CM, who knows... However as we have seen this season, squad depth is needed and next season, yes we will have injuries etc again so we need quality. I don't know if the board still want a £50m striker like Falcao again but if not, great news, Schurrle can play there and do a decent job. It would be sad to see KDB go out on loan next season as I think he deserves a shot but maybe our staff want to see him play in the UCL with another team, which maybe is not too bad of an idea. We have Marin who has not really impressed so I don't know what is going to happen. Moses has had is up and downs but could add a few more goals but decent season and should be kept. Mata and Hazard, quality seasons plus goals. Oscar, good starting season but not enough goals which sometimes we could do with from his position, so in rotational case, I am definite for this move as I believe right now his overall ability is better than Oscar and will provide us with a bigger goal threat which we need to further advance this season. Some people who believe he is not good enough, I would just like to know why? Even if he has not been brilliant he is very young and got years to prove himself. More than happy if this deal goes through.

Vote the Skipper! FullEnglishBreakfast has only recently joined while Skipper has been here for a while and I don't remember him winning it and I think he deserves it. Loyalty is key, where is your respect some of you Only joking but yeah Skipper.

Even Atletico's finances are quite dire, we are never getting him for that price.

I disagree with Durham. I think it was vital he got loan experience at a Championship club to develop him as he was not going to get first team starts at us or other Premier League teams. Why would Durham think going out on loan is wasting his time. Look at Bertrand for instance, the loan helped me, as it has helped a numerous amount of footballers. Josh, himself said that playing in week in week out at Boro has helped him to improve and while he has got benched recently he has played a lot of football and picked up a couple knocks. Josh also said that the though nature of the Championship has helped him become a better player and getting regular football, (albeit the Championship) has helped him knuckle down. I think loans like this are good because we see how they cope in a different environment and most importantly we gain an indication if they are ready for the first team in the future. For eg, Chalobah, how can we underestimate the brilliance of his loans and how effective the loan has been in enhancing his potential and helping Chelsea fans realise how good he actually is.

Real will not let Varane go at any costs nor will he want to leave. He is 19, playing regular football there at one of the best clubs in the world. Why would they even contemplate selling him or would he consider leaving?

You shouldn't let clowns like Rupert put you off from posting.

Fischer is an excellent player. As you say 8 goals in the league and 10 goals in overall competitions. Brilliant for a teenager who had not even played first team football before the 12-13 season. He will not join Chelsea though if given the choice, I am sure. He will not be a first team player here and I am sure he knows for his development it is best he stays at Ajax. The big boys will be in for him in the summer for sure but I think he will stay at Ajax another season and follow Eriksen's guide. Btw, this is a brilliant chipped goal he scored on the weekend against NEC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWs_5vJ7U8s

Well some said after the Saints game that Shaw made him look like an average LB. Well not everyone but some were very critical of him. I just find it harsh when people say PVA is better than Bertrand etc because of his loan spell. I like PVA but IIRC he did not have the best of loan spells at Wigan. PL is just a much tougher environment. It was last season or early this season that Bertrand's efforts got him awarded a place in the England squad ahead of Gibbs.

It is actually so frustrating to see some of the knee-jerk reaction sometimes. After the Southampton game, so many posters were berating him stating he is a rubbish LB etc. Now he has a good game against United, then some people realise he is actually a decent LB. Many people were stating that we should bring PVA as a deputy LB for Cole instead of Bertrand and while he has a very good season with Vitesse, the PL is a whole different ball game and faster and more physical tempo. However back to Bertrand's qualities as a LB, he will never be as good as Cole but it is unfair for people to say he needs a run out to prove what he is capable of. He is not a world class LB but he has already put in some quality LB performances. When we drew with Arsenal 0-0 at Emirates last season he was actually nominated MOTM and deservedly so. Yes, for the two weeks Bertrand may be a bit more of a liability but for those who are deeply criticising him it is a bit harsh because has stepped in for Cole before and done a very good job.

Honestly, some of your posts are actually constructive and make sense but it gets annoying when you post the same 'Rafa Benitez' stuff all the time. For eg we beat United. Rather than stating how the team done you just jump straight on to the fact that Bentiez beat SAF, but you didnt mention anything else about the game. You then post in this thread against Rubin about all this past Rafa history stuff. Yes, thanks for providing us with Rafa's personal achievements but can you contribute to the thread sometimes and talk about Chelsea itself and not Benitez. I look at all your posts and it is all about Benitez. You are one of the posters who I think, yeah while many disagree you speak an element of your own mind which while annoys people, in its own way is factual but the way you just post about Rafa and nothing else is pure trolling and annoying. Talk about Chelsea and the match sometimes rather than one man. Please.

LOL, he had a very good game, Choulo. Was solid throughout.

Some of your comments are baffling.

Oscar needs to hit the weights.

Another excellent game he had yesterday. Best player on the field. Even though he is a fullback he has been there most creative player, along with Piennar , this season. Quality LB. really deserves more praise. Obviously not going to see him here next season because of Cole but I am sure Baines is still going to outperform him.
-
Don't really want him here because I don't want us spending that amount of money when I believe we have other good strikers (Lukaku and Ba) but Falcao does the job. He can be invisible during the game which I have noticed but he scored. Similar to RVN, gets you the goals and that matters.
-
He is the only player of his age group playing week in week out and he still is not even 18 yet. Brilliant prospect!
-
When Hernandez plays against us I just know he will score. It is about how much we score to counter attack that.
-
I vote me for my continuous contributions and not following on the bandwagon list I speak my own mind, interact well with other members but never seem to be mentioned here So I vote CFC_Lucas this month, yes!

Still struggling to comprehend how Benitez decided not to bring on Ba in any period of the game. He scored 2 on his Chelsea debut against Southampton and was an extreme handful, yet you bring on fucking Benayoun of all people?????? Is this manager really trying to piss us off. You know the situation is bad when we are forced to bring on Benayoun. A player who West Ham sent back to back to us because he kept on getting injured and he comes back and plays. Yes, Hazard had been on his national duties, however when Mata is not available he should had been starting from the offset. I knew what we were setting are self up for when I saw no Mata or Hazard. I hope there is some kind of pundit out there who can give Benitez a full scale interrogation on why he decided to leave out Ba. Also so funny how the media try stir things. Cork stated that he would prefer Lambert over Torres.... Is that really a story? Who the fuck would not? Lambert is an underrated striker who has now scored 2 good goals against us home and away. Don't see why a story was made out of this. You ask me out of the two who is better? I say Lambert, no pun intended. So frustrating. Same story which sums up our whole season: inconsistency. We come off a good win then we always fuck it up the week after or the next fortnight. Sunderland at home next week is a must win and I will not take anything for granted as they most likely will have appointed a new manager and will have a new ooze of confidence.

Well tbh RLC is a much better prospect than Josh from what I have seen. Both good technically, however RLC is three years younger and what him and Chalobah have over him is that they are better physically and slightly younger as well and as the years go by I reckon the development will show that the two aforementioned have passed by Mceachran in terms of overall ability.

Well it is quite obvious really... Benitez is a selfish little prick. The board are to blame really. I can't blame Benitez. You hear from the board while Benitez is interim manager that you are not going to be in charge next season. So let's face it why is Benitez going to prioritise top 4 finish when he can win the FA Cup. That is what the FSW is thinking. He has no rapport with the Chelsea fans and he knows he will never be here again so Benitez thinks what looks better on my C.V? Top 4 or FA Cup trophy? Was a ridiculous decision to hire him.
