Everton is never easy. It is not a devastating loss. Big teams have gone there and lost. Many more I am sure. Just annoyed because we were not poor and had we converted our chances we would have won. As one of the previous posters mentioned, Arsenal lost their first game at home 3-1 to Villa who are inferior to Everton and they were poorer than us and now find themselves top. I am sure we will work harder in training to correct the things we got wrong and hopefully in our next CL game and Prem game against Fulham we will get our shooting boots back on.

Wrong. No they did not and Cole was useless. Had we maybe had someone alongside Mikel who would of help more going forward then we might of got a goal. Look at Carrick, had a similar role to Mikel today and was voted by BT Sport as MOTM but what helped is he did his role while the others fortunately took their chances and they won the game.

He won us the ball back numerous amount of times. That alone helps us with counter attacks and prevented them from scoring more but we were wasteful with our opportunities.

He was good pre-season but not considered good enough right now. I am sure he will get his chances but I will not criticize Mourinho for it. Clearly sees that he needs time and probably a game against Swindon would be best to bring him in. I wold not of expected him to feature today. TBH, when you post you do sometimes insult people, even though you might not be intentionally doing this but so much times I have seen you reply to Choulo you have insulted him in some sort of way which is what I think he takes offence to.
