Oscar is his no.10 so will be surprised if he does that. I think Mourinho thinks he can win the game on the counter attack and because of Ramires acceleration he swill play him on the wing to catch Tottenham out. Sometimes it actually works but just disappoints me as some teams would beg to have the amount of attacking flair we have.

Can see KDB being loaned out in January. Good player but he seems to be one who needs to do more to convince. Willian is not even in the squad but you would expect him to be involved when you are splashing out £30m so right now does not look to good for KDB. Take into fact that it seems Mata, Schurrle, Willian are all ahead of him in the pecking order, can see him moving out on loan in January.

So Torres starts. He has not exactly set lights off at Spurs yet. He scored a couple in an easy game in the EL and scored a couple PL goals but none from open play. So should be quite interesting. Both teams have good options from the bench. I hope we attack them and none of this defensive minded crap. Counter attack is fine if it works but we got no reason to let them dictate the game.

I doubt Lamela or Chadli will start. Maybe not both of them. Townsend will start I reckon because he has been quite good this season and he seems to be sticking with Sigurddson atm. However to trouble us he may go with Chadli or Lamela in place of Sigurddson.

Against Fulham, our last PL game, Mata was not in the squad at all, that is why it says KDB loses his place to Mata. Willian was in the squad in our last PL game. He is not as bad as he is made out to be tbh. He sometimes is exposed defensively because of his attacking instincts but I rate him very highly. He is strong, fast and got what you want in a fullback. But often up in one and one situations with attackers he is very decent.

We got the job done but I really do hate it when post-match analysts say "Chelsea done a professional job" etc. Makes us sound like we are a defensive minded team who don't have an interest in playing an attractive style. Same thing I heard after the game against Fulham. I hope we turn on the style against some team where we absolutely batter them!

Never, you suggested this about Lukaku and now KDB? Come on Zolayes far too good for the Championship. He could have been better last night but he made some very good passes, especially that one that put Torres in the clear. Just needs a set of games to give him that spark IMO. I always thought he was a good player though but I did say before the season started that there was a bit of unrealistic expectation set for him. He came on a back of a loan and while he was very good there it is always going to be harder to set your authority on a much better team like us. He will be mainly rotation and back up this season but tbh I would of like to seen him and Willian be a bit more expressive last night. I thought KDB tried to be a bite more expressive than Willian but he seemed to be stopped more in his tracks. I am sure he is going to get better as the season goes on though.

Well I am not 100% sure on whose choice it was but it would seem weird if it was Lukaku's after he said he wanted to stay from the beginning. When we were linked with Eto'o and Rooney he relished the challenge and told several sources he wants to fight for his place regardless of who we bring in.

He was on the bench sometimes for WBA for tactical reason. He started many as well. Lukaku will be the main starter at Everton no doubt about it. He will not start every single game but the majority of them he will as Martinez said himself that he is the missing piece of the jigsaw. Also what did Lukaku do in pre-season? Scored more goals than all our strikers. That is not my main point anyway. My main point is you sayng he does not even start for Everton is so oblivious. It was one game and that is expected but you will see him in the starting line up more often than not but when he comes of the bench he is also an additional weapon.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Did our other strikers show anything in pre-season? No. Lukaku was our best striker. He is on loan at Everton and I hope he does well but how could you actually say he does not start for Everton? It was one bloody game. That is expected and plus eh completely changed the game when he came on. He is clearly going to be the no.1 striker there so your point you made there about him not starting because of one game is ridiculous. I can guarantee you he will start against Newcastle on Monday night. Everton have been crying out for a striker who can score goals and now they have one.
