  1. Yes, possibly. Steve Holland confirmed that "there may be an opportunity for one young player to be involved for tomorrow".so realistically can only be Baker as he was not included for the U21. Would be amazing if he can get some minutes. Fully deserving of a first team call up. Was our best player for the reserves and youth cup run last season. Has added more goals to his game, two footed player literally. Takes corners and free kicks with both his left and right foot and is ever so consistent. Would be really good for him and for us as he has been at the club since he was 9 years old.
  2. We all said the same about Benitez
  3. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2429432/Didier-Drogba-forced-flee-rioting-fans-Galatasarays-derby-Besiktas-abandoned-93rd-minute.html Crazy. Stupid, stupid fans So will Drogba's goal stand now??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=EhUixHrGD48
  4. Just wonder if the Rooney thread was open, what people would be saying. So much people were saying when we were interested in him that he will not ever be back to his best and is on the decline. His last three games have proved that he is still a quality player. People write off people too easily. Rooney still has plenty more seasons in him and he might just end up being a revelation for United this season.
  5. Yeah and Bale will be missing this season as well...... For games like this, Mikel and Ramires are a much more better fit IMO. You mentioned the West Ham game. I can play that game too. Lamps was awful against United in the Cup last season and when he got subbed of you could see the difference when Ramires and Mikel played together second half as they were solid.
  6. IMO, Ramires and Mikel would be the best option for this match. In this fixture last season when we on 4-2 we had a midfield pairing of Mikel and Ramires and although Spurs scored 2, we bossed the game and they formed a good partnership in midfield.
  7. Good point as he is only 22 but I guess it is because of the media hype around Shaw and the fact that he is only 18 but Shaw is worthy of the hype definitely.
  8. He may support Chelsea but I reckon he has doubts whether he will be the no.1 LB here. With our policy I doubt we would make him firs choice LB for a few years. Something that United might offer him. Like the case with Chamberlain, heard he supported us when he was younger but for his career he was always going to move to a team like Arsenal.
  9. Was quality once again yesterday. Against very tough opposition and should of made it 0-2 had it not been for a brilliant save from Mignolet. Fantastic LB and only 18, will only be a matter of time till he gets into the England squad surely. But for now he should stay at Southampton. A move would be best for him when he is certain that he will the no.1 choice.
  10. The countless times Fulham players attempted to get past him but none of them succeeded once. Simply a beast, was definitely up for contender of MOTM with Oscar.
  11. While people say there is no need for Mikel in our current system I really think people are underestimating his range of passing. Especially long range passing. Do people remember Drogba's goal against Cardiff in the FA Cup in our 4-1 victory I think it was? The 5-0 victory over Portsmouth as well a few years ago when he done that wonderful through ball for Drogba to score. He is capable of this. He has displayed moments of brilliant passing in other games as well. I hope he displays more of what he is capable of over the season.
  12. Well his other ones have been against lower league teams and you would expect to win those
  13. Phil Driver will soon come with a comment saying something down the lines of "This shows why Mikel should not play. Even when he is instructed not to go forward he does it and does not listen to his manager. He decided to do what he wants. Lampard is happy to do as instructed and when he comes on you see the difference. Mourinho will know it is a matter of time that Lampard should be put back into the lineup".
  14. So Lukaku has got more PL goal (s) in 45 mins for Everton than our whole strike force
  15. Think I might just play GTA instead
  16. An Everton fan reaction to Lukaku performance today : "Bossed the game, really. His strength and pace were too much for Collins to handle, Reid did a pretty good job keeping him in check but still couldn't keep him from getting into positions. He linked up really well with Mirallas, too- he's comfortable on the ball and seemed like he has a decent eye for a pass when it's on also. And the goal he scored was excellent- took the ball outside the 18, laid it off to the wing, got into the box and went in bravely for the header".
  17. Another game of shit football and no Mata to change it. Mourinho and his football is a shambles to watch sometimes. Fucking boring. Even Benitez provided more entertainment than this. YAWN
  18. Mourinho is such an ass sometimes. In the interview he said Mata has been below par and that justifies him leaving him out. As a manager get behind him and give him his confidence back. Same way you play Hazard every single game even when he is poor, try and give Mata game time to get his spark back.
  19. But he did not do excellent to an extent where you would say he is a nailed on starter for the next game.
  20. He was not brilliant. I don't know why people believe he was excellent. He was decent, nothing more.
  21. What a player. 2 excellent goals. Would be excellent in a bigger team.
