His goalscoring record is great but like you say with KDB and Oscar when you keep defending Oscar, do you really think Neymar would flourish in our joke of a team right now? He probably would have more goals but he is in a team that knows how to play football and will get loads of attacking freedom for fun.

Some people called him a one season wonder. 6 goals in his last 4 games. Some people are way too knee jerk after a little dip in form.

You can say that about Hazard then too. 21 games without a goal and has put glimpses in this season but not enough. Maybe if our star players were performing like him this season, he would also look better and have better stats. Right now he is the only one who is consistently looking like offering anything. If Hazard can put in performances like last season and Costa can start playing football and the likes of Fabregas can rmeember his passing instinct we might even have a better player. Willian is fine in our team. Realistically who can we get that will be an upgrade on him. He is a quality player. We need upgrades on the likes of Oscar who really does not add anything and looks way out depth and fragile when he is on the pitch.

He lost the ball near the corner flag to Affelay once and apart from that I thought he was good. He controlled play, went forward well and don't actually remember him being exploited in the game.

I will be so angry if he is dropped against Norwich. He had a bad game yesterday but like I was saying before he needs a run to prove his worth. He is very talented but keeps being in and out of the team. Norwich is a team we should we beating even in our current predicament so I hope he gets a start because that is a game where I expect us to be on the front foot for majority of the game.

It is not impossible at all for us to get top 4. As good as Leicester have been, you assume that by the end of the season we should be above them, hopefully. 14 points behind them while 13 behind United. Assume now that City, Arsenal and United are top three. Then you assume our big challengers for the 4th spot will be Spurs, Liverpool and the lesser likes of West Ham, Everton and Southampton. Our next game is Norwich at home which should be a home banker. We then go to Spurs which will be a crucial game. If we can get our act together and beat them, we then have Bournemouth which is surely a home win for us followed by Leicester away and Sunderland and Watford at home. Really, we are good enough to get maximum points there. If not maximum we should be targetting around 13 points at least. We do that then all of a sudden our top 4 chances should look much better. Look at the run Arsenal put together last season and they were doing bad around this stage last season too, albeit not too bad. They ended up finishing 3rd and got top 4 easily. Hopefully the same with us. Got to keep the faith. We have got too many talented players to think we cannot get a run going :blue scalf:

His goal today was what Costa should have done against Dynamo Kiev instead of going down on the floor. Had he stood up and actually thought about scoring, he might of ended up like Lukaku and celebrating a goal.

They aren't Hazard. Hazard is a world class talent. Yes they have tons of attacking midfielders but how many are in the level of Hazard? Not much. Hazard would be perfect for Arsenal but fortunately that will not happen. If PSG knew Hazard was available for £60-70m or perhaps even more, do you really think they would not put in an offer? There is always space for world class talent which Hazard is.

Thought he was fantastic again tbh. Looked like the Matic we know. Was a bulldozer. Made it looked easy the way he intercepted the ball at times.

14 points behind Leicester at this stage of the season

Arsenal fans probably said the same about Bellerin in their fixture at the Brittania last season and now look at him. Bad game but still needs regular games to prove his worth. Never easy coming into a premier league game once every month.

I actually thought he was alright. Still not at his best but much better than we have seen other games.

You can say that about the rest of the team too. How about this: Let's remember it was his pressing and assist that got Costa the goal against Aston Villa. Obviously a simple assist but the pressure he applied to Lescott forced them into a mistake. He also set up our first goal against Dynamo Kiev with his excellent footwork and cross which forced them into an own goal. Costa should of actually made a run to the far post but never. It seems like you are another one who is not really a fan of him but it does not hurt to give him praise when it is deserved.

It will kill me to see him go to Arsenal because i know they will give him chances and I can't bare to see him flourish at them. We really need to see sense with this player. However not surprised considering what we have done with our talents before. Also would not surprise me to see if there is any link between him and Hazard. They are very close with each other and perhaps one will be followed out by the other. I hope not but can easily see it going that way.

Wel, I find the passing stats meaningless tbh. He kept drifting out wide and looking for a teammate so obviously his passing rates will be a bit higher but look for instance for our first goal. I know we got the goal from an own goal but when Willian got past his man, Costa should have made a run on the far post but luckily it worked in the end. Then there was another opportunity near the end for him where he received the ball and he drifted on to his left foot. It was a similar angle to the goal he scored against West Ham last season at the Bridge however this time rather than shot, he tried to take the ball further and then the chance was wasted. Sometimes he tries to dribble too much when there is an opportunity of shooting.

Well maybe meaningless is harsh but the stats completion you showed of Costa yesterday does not mean anything because I would expect that of our midfielders. Costa could have done better last night. Especially when he had the through ball to him and looked like he beat both Kiev defenders for pace. Just rather frustrated me. I want him to get back to his best and hope he can do it but tbh on his behalf, compared to last season the lack of clear created chance for him is not good enough. They aren't doing anything wrong tbh. It goes on bit too long but they are not insulting each other and both giving stats/evidence and their reasons to back up what they are saying. No need to hide their posts or anything like that. Now if it turns nasty, then that is something else.

And where is Oscar? And let's not forget when we won the league, second part of the season, Willian was a major contribution. Any coincidence? You obviously don't rate him much as a player. You seem to think that Willian has suddenly found form. Like I said, he stepped up hugely in the second part of last season. Him and Hazard were our best outfield players. NO! Don't tell me to shut up. The criticism that he used to get was ridiculous and OTT. People saw a glimpse of Kenedy and there was so much wankfst over him with some people saying he was an upgrade over Willian. I know he has been criticised for his play in the final third before but apart fromt hat he adds so much. Even second part of last season he took his game to another level. But for some people, stats are the only thing that will standout which is a shame. I remember when Mourinho was unsure about sellign Cech and he suggested getting an Arsenal player in return. So many people wanted Chamberlain because he is a quality player and people thought he would be an upgrade over the likes of Willian yet his play in the final third is no better. Oscar may have previously had better stats but Willian is just a much better player. It is so obvious to see. Been crying this out before the season started. Oscar plays good when the team is playing good. The team is playing bad he rarely will offer anything in attack which is why he has no goals this season and has rarely looked close to scoring when playing. We need a upgrade for Oscar, not Willian. We did have an upgrade on Oscar but he was sold unfortunately. Willian is fine and I never wanted him outt he team from last season. He had things to work on and that is what he is doing. I don't see who is out there tht can do a better job than he does defensively and offensively. I think you should give him a bit more credit. I would have him in the team all day long. Yes he does. I think the fact he has not said anything is more guilt than anything. Also Willian has been our best player in general play. Not his fault the rest of the team are not on par with him and look clueless. If every other player put in the same shift he has for majority of season, he would thrive even more. Liverpool, was good but yet again the rest of the team was sluggish. Tonight, he was the best player in the whole game. Obviously the free kick helped him get more plaudits but it was his excellent play that got us the first goal and was the main threat all match. West Ham he was fantastic for the whole game as well but once again the rest of the team were not on par with him. It is not easy looking like the only one who gives a shit.

Oh, my bad. I remember the compliment you gave to Willian. Take that part back. However I see you have double standards. Every bad game, KDB and Lukaku have, you are the first to comment and when they put in quality performances you don't and when compare our players with others, I do it because I think you have double standards. Just accept when a favourite player of yours has a bad game. Those stats are meaningless, he is a striker. We want to see him putting balls in the back of the net. Sometimes, less excuses, more acceptance. Costa had service tonight but just was not at it. Simple as that.
