  1. Drogba-esque lay down for Costa, just brilliant. I believe he can become a really great player for the club.
  2. What about signing Maksimovic for say 30mil. £, just to piss de Laurentis off for playing hardball over Koulibaly, leaving them a player in a bad mood. [emoji1] Maksimovic seems to be a great talent as well.
  3. We have to wait to see what happens tomorrow, I wouldn't put it past West Ham to score two or more goals against our bad defence. A bad start to the season could leave us in trouble.
  4. Back in 2010 we would have been no more worth than 15 million pounds. But we need an defender so bad that the ridiculous price tag doesn't matter, any CB is an upgrade now.
  5. I know the first Gameday doesn't mean much, but I have to say that both Manchester clubs don't look unbeatable, as some papers and obviously their fans claimed.
  6. You can be glad that you get offered such service. Sky Germany abandoned the Premier League, which means they only show the Champions League next season. 10 years ago Sky screened like 6 PL games per weekend and 5 games of La Liga and other Leagues. And this disgrace of a sport-package costs almost 30 euros per month, which actually excludes the German league. Laughable.
  7. No he won't. As sad as it sounds, he will score a hattrick in the Carling Cup against some 3rd league team and continue to be totally anonymous for the rest of the season.
  8. Finally he looks more decisive when it comes to goals, maybe Conte told him to do so more often. If everything goes right he is going to have a great season. I just hope Conte creates a good, organized attacking system, which Mourinho failed to do in the last three years. We can't rely on Hazard and Costa to do the offensive job basically alone anymore, as Hazard isn't scoring that much and Costa gets himself suspended many games per season.
  9. I know where you come from. For example Essien, our former midfield engine, was robbed his legendary status by two ACL. Back at his prime there was not any midfielder who could handle his strength, stamina, desire and heart. Back then I thought he was even more important than Lampard in his prime. Can you remember his goal againdt Barcelona? Oh my goodness, those were the times... I hope Kante can follow his path and won't suffer those injuries Essien had unfortunately.
  10. I bet he will become a club legend, you can quote me on that. [emoji57]
  11. I still don't know if Conte will play a traditional number 10 or not, but if so him or Gotze would have been perfect, especially if you consider Oscar.. Then again Conte favours a 4-2-4 or 5-3-2 so we probably will play with three central midfielders and with Hazard and Willian on the wings.

  13. True, people always find ways to kill each other, but then again stricter weapon rules lower the risks of people getting killed. In western and middle European countries like France, Germany and Austria, which don't have as liberal weapon regulations as in America, are far less shootings (I exclude terrorist attacks), because the average person doesn't own a gun over here to kill his neighbour because of an argument. Not a single week goes by in which you don't hear of deadly shootings in the US and one of the reasons of that is the easy access to guns. In Austria for example it's forbidden to take a loaded gun out on the streets, except you are a member of the police or special agent. Stricter rules don't stop idiots like Breivik or IS terrorists, but they lower the risk of normal people getting into shootings. As you mentioned banning all guns doesn't solve the problem as a whole, but finding regulations for them can lower the risks of violence on the street.
  14. Tuchel was Schurrles coach when they both were at Mainz years ago. Under Tuchel Andre was one of the best players in Germany, starting games for the NT and getting young players award. So a reunion of them makes sense, as Schurrles career stalled since he moved to Chelsea and Tuchel seems to be the right man to get the best out of him.
  15. No, as far as I know they have the same weapon-laws like us in Austria. So in order to get access to weapons you first need to pass a psychological test and then you have to take lessons held by professionals to get a license,
  16. Shootings in a shopping mall in Munich. 6 killed people confirmed, many injured persons. The police is currently raiding the shooters. Hope all german TC members are ok. This world is just so wrong..
  17. He might be better than Lukaku if the price is right, but I doubt that will happen, its PSG after all we are talking about. I would rather go for Morata, he is much younger than Cavani and is more technical than Lukaku, which is exactly we need to complement Costa in a 2-striker system. I also believe that Cavani wants to stay, because after years of playing the second fiddle to Ibrahimovic he might find himself being the main man at PSG. That being said, I think Morata is willing to change his club considering that he is behind Benzema in Madrids pecking order. First priority should remain a good CB, Koulibaly seems the best candidate, him and Zouma could form an amazing CB pairing in the future. I just hope our board won´t be penny pinching like with Stones last summer.
  18. The last time we played against RZ Pellets in pre-season we went on to walk the league in 2014/15. Maybe todays win is a good sign. [emoji1]
  19. To be honest Bathsuhayi and Traore looked much better than Costa today.
  20. Okay thanks. That means Ivanovic stays for another season as no club in Europe would buy him I suppose. [emoji20]
  21. Maybe he could be offloaded to China, with his horrendous performances he would fit right into there. I am grateful to him for things he did in the past, he will always remembered as great player, but its about time to part ways.
  22. Cristian Cuevas is another one of those players that I have forgotten about a long time ago. [emoji1]
  23. Hope we will get him soon, four years with Cahill as starter are more than enough. Koulibaly and Zouma could form a good partnership in the future.
