I regular refer to him as fat Frank, it's said in jest since he has clearly been one off our fittest players over the last ten years. Stupid hammers, they don't call him fat now!! lol

Defiantly this... oh and Simon Cowell obv.

League form and performance was worrying under RDM last year, people forget games like Wigan where we were total pants (not the only example). Having said that the squad reshaping should provide better options to RDM, no more Kalouda for the last half hour. Ps - Cant wait to read what the journo's who called us a "disgrace" for not giving RDM the job write when we are 6th in November.

Wtf was that... not sure im ever going to sleep properly again.

My point was a reduced capacity would impact revenues, thus effecting us in terms of FFP. I just don't see developing the Bridge as a viable option. Unless the council help with some enforced purchasing of land (very unlikely). We need a 60k plus stadium, 50 just isn't big enough IMO. Oh and for the record it was a sealed bid. I'm not ruling out the Malaysians failing to find the funding (long shot). Was talk of the development costing £5 billion, besides does south west London really need another mega mall following westfields in the Bush?
-
His contract expired, if Malouda isn't sold he won't be given another contract next year. Sure the club won't rid but he intends to see it out.
-
Kalou and Modric and any striker we don't need em.
-
Question. With FFP in force do you really believe we could afford the drop in revenues of redeveloping the Bridge? The whole ground would need gutting, not just one or two stands. Plus the cost of the expansion is prohibitive (20k a seat was the last figure quoted) given mac capacity would increase by 10k. No deal has been struck, Malaysians could turn out to lack the necessary funding / be rejected by planning. We need this site, it pains me but we have to leave the Bridge in order to grow as a club.

Given his age this is a make or break season for him. By next year he would have to be included in our 25 man squad. He has made a hash of his loan opportunities, won't be getting first team chances with us and has something of an attitude problem. Ive seen nothing to suggest a star in the making. Only option is to sell him, may make a couple of million, and insert a sell on clause fee. Job done.

Bingo well played sir. ACB was naive, figured he could change the world in six months. He should have implemented changes in style over a sustained period. Oh and not telling half the team they were shite would have helped as well. Pretty sure Pep is more experienced and more versatile then ppl give him credit for.
-
Or go bankrupt trying to develop the site. Can you think of a viable alternative? I love the Bridge as much as the next man but a 60k stadium on the banks of the Thames with a 15k single tier would have been amazing. Imagine the noise which could have been generated. Guess there is always Olympia / Earls Court. But I think those are pretty much done deals with other property developers. Which means we are stuck in a small, outdated ground with little chance if moving in the foreseeable.
-
FFS now what? That represented a genuine opportunity to remain in West London. I can't think of many viable sites within a couple of miles of the Bridge. Was really hoping we would get the site. We desperately need to move in order to increase revenues. Bigger ground could easily make us an extra £25 million a year.

It's a lot of money, but I'm personally glad they have finally addressed our 2-3 year problem with our lack of width. Only a RBI to go and we have one hell of a young / talented squad. Just visit a few of out competitors boards, City, United, Arsenal are all commenting on the fact our forward line us scary as hell. Come on can't wait for the season to start!!!

$20 an hour? You on the game Spike?

No he shall log off because judging from his illiterate responses he hasn't got a clue what you've just said. Ireland - Like i say, read more you illiterate bum instead of spending your time trolling internet forums.Perhaps if you did this your economy wouldn't be all shot to shite...
-
If you spent more time reading and less time trolling on Internet forums maybe your illiterate arse wouldn't look quite as dumb as it does right now. Ps - Get a job you bum!!

I think Roberto did a wonderful job last year, his man managment was particually inspiring. But we rode our luck in the CL and more importantly in the leage as well. People seem to forget we were out played by Wigan and dominated by Man City, to name but a few. Thismay / may not have been due to the players at his disposale, and if he were given the chance i am sure he would make a success off it. And i for one would love to have a true chelsea man in charge at the club, you could see how much it meant to him, and thats inspiring to see. I believe Pep actually accepted that Barcelona needed a plan B in the post match interview following our defeat. I'm going against the tide here, but i'd like him at the Bridge. He showed great humility after their defeat to us (and lets be honest they could quite easily have won with there plan A), and his acceptance of a need for plan B shows a man who is willing to adapt. I believe he would have learned from AVB disastrous approach to change and would adopt a more evolutionary approach. And as for the high line issue... well we used to play with a higher line under Mourinho, we oftern played higher up the field shutting out the space in midfield and stiffling opponents. Playing the higher line is what enables Barca to win the ball back so quickly (hell look how little time we had on the ball). JT aside we have plenty of pace at the back in Cole. Luis and Cahill, and if we get caught once an a while so be it... everyone has to conceed from time to time.

I know, sorry, just fed up with the rag papers talking about us spending ridiculous sums on wages. They love painting our club in a negative light.
-
I agree, youngesters really need more opputunities. Thats why i wouldn't sign another striker, Sturridge and Lukaka offer us cover. Having said that i believe the club are looking to cut out all of the dead wood in one go, i dont expect us to be in the market much for the next couple of years. I honestly believe they are going to ship out: Malouda Paulo F Essien And possible Meirelles (he has been complete tripe this year) I believe they are going to sign Hulk and possible a RB. I'd love to have Modric as well but his aquisition would over load our midfield given that Ramires would probably be pushed back into that position. If this is the case we are going to have one hell of a young first team squad with an abundnace of talented under 21s coming through. That along with a possible new ground means our future is looking brighter than ever!!!
-
Its BS... to be honest how would they actually now what we are paying him, sure neither he nor his agent have been telling every journalist they meet. Only last week the same journo's were reporting that both United, City and Chelsea has agreed personal terms with him. Now he has choosen us its because we offered him more than the rest. BS reporting, wait till its in the Gaurdian then il believe it.
-
Dont believe the English rags with regards to his wages, big numbers sell papers....
-
Your watching the wrong video then, quick, direct, great feet wonderful touch, great balance and supraignly strong. Who in Chelsea's current squad comes close? We have missed someone with the ability to beat his market for fun, this lad is that guy. Free is high, but given the lvl of interest in him from just about every major team in Europe that was to be expected. He is going to completely change our mentality next year, not unlike Eibben when he first arrived.
-
Modric? In really not sure we need him, if we do buy him we have to sell since there is a limit on squad sizes (25 I think with home grown restrictions etcetra)
-
He has sparked a lot of controversy in his career but who hasn't? Giggs and Rooney spring to mind. You also can't hold him accountable for the actions of his parents. He has no control over that. The racism allegations are unfortunate, but in my heart I refuse to believe his is racist. On the pitch he was and still is a colossus, he has several years of top flight football left in him. Pace was never an issue with him, his positional awareness more than made up for that. His commitment on the pitch has not wavered and I can't think of a better organizer in European football. Oh and ppl dislike him because he is the face of Chelsea. I dislike Stevie 'whinny' Gerrard purely for his links to the club, not for the assault he carried out in a night club.
