What is this obsession with world class? What does it mean? How do you define it? Are there a few world class players? Or is it anyone who plays for a major international country? All BS as far as I'm concerned. Sturridge has everything needed to be a top class CF, he needs to grow up a little but that comes with experience.

Bahh.... Don't see this as being much of a case for RA to answer. Certainly not a $5 billion payout. Whole thing smells funky, especially the time gap between the events and the trial. Not sure it would effect us. People seem to forget (the press convientlt so) we generate a lot of money as a club. Not sure he is lazy, think his running style makes it appear thy way. I actually think he would have offered an alternative for us, a plan B. If we needed someone to hold up the ball and bring our abundance of attacking quality into play then he is your man. That's certainly not Torres natural game. And his age and experience would have fitted well with our existing squad.

I was championing the Berbatov idea but I'm beginning to feel we are just fine. Fairly sure we could recall Lukaka (we are not that stupid) if hit by injury upfront.
