Nahh I don't think he played well. Even 77% is low for a top flight footballer. I agree though he is not a winger, if RDM wants to play him then it has to be as part of a three man midfield IMO as a box to box type player with Mikel holding and Lampard playing a little deeper.

Nice link (changed my perception of the game.), interesting to see how well Juventus held thier formation. We really should have exploited those flanks, instead our wide players are far to narrow. Need natural width, I'm looking at Marin and Moses. And yes we need to stop with the Ramirez out wide tactic. Think Moses has a good enough work ethic to track back and a lot more going forward. If his pass rate really was 33% then that's appalling. He isn't the best in possession, which is why it's 4-3-3 for me he can't play in the pivot.

Despite the usual hate from some i actually think Torres was okay (held the ball up, linked with midfield, jut needs to stay more central). Hazard wasn't great, Chiellini had him in his back pocket all night, but fair play his head never dropped and kept trying. Fair play to him. Oscar, finally!!! What a goal, that's the best one I've seen at the Bridge in years. Literally no words to describe it for me. I'm glad RDM mixed it up, shows he isn't a stubborn shit like AVB. Great managers generally mix up tactics to suit the occasion and he did that tonight. Let's not forget these guys have not lost in Italy in 42 games. They are a very good team. Mikel was pants (but hey I'm one of the not impressed) and Lampard was average (needs to concentrate on his positioning). All in all I'm happy with that, the late goal was upsetting but our response was to pin them back and look for a win. Been a while since we have done that against a good team, looks encouraging.

After being over run by QPR in midfield I think you'll see a 4-3-3 from RDM. We looked so much better when Ramirez dropped deep. Too soon for Moses, so it's Torres (fucking man up and hold onto the ball), Mata and Hazard. With Fat Frank, Rambo and Sideways (my new name for Mikel) in midfield. Defense kinda picks itself assuming they are fit. If RDM insists on a 4-2-3-1 I'll probably get thrown out for vulgarity!!

Was a little stunned by his use of Ramirez (again) out wide, but to follow that up with Betrand on the other flank was disappointing. Way to defensive..... And Torres, I've defended you against a lot of criticism but your ability to retain the ball was woeful. At one point in the second half you gave the ball away consistently for 20 mins. Can't very well complain about lack of service if you don't help in the link up / build going forward.

I've defended Torres, but today son you have let me down. Replace him now!!!!
-
Holy shit!!!
-
All burnt out.... Fuckibg take em now Chelsea!!!
-
Lol, nicely bowled...
-
4th time in a row Torres has lost possession, that's not good enough.
-
What position?
-
Ahhh well played Eden...
-
Even with three in the middle we still being mugged off.... Oh and Torres, fucking man up, keep possession.
-
?... Getting mugged off.
-
Jesus... Losing these 50-50 all the time...
-
About time, way to defensive....

His one saving grace is thy his first name isn't Rio. As for Bridge.... Well I can't blame him, I wouldn't be shaking JTs hand. Think it was so harsh booing him when he came back to the bridge.

Difficult to take the moral high ground when your such an enormous fucking cu.... Fuck Utd, hate how players like Giggs get off there massive (and pretty nasty) indiscretions, yet JT gets hung out to burn. What's that? Sleep with your brothers missus for years, cover it up using a super injunction.... Oh what's that Wayne? Sleep with whores whilst your wife is pregnant? Never mid son your fat arse can sit on the bench for the first two games of the euros. Bet you won't see that little gem in his ten year autobiography. Yes his second autobiography at the age of 26, part of a five book deal worth £5 million. Don't even get me started on the massive racist / hypocrite Ferdinand who lacks the IQ to understand what a massive fucking cu... He actually is. Rant over. QPR 1-4 Chelsea (you heard it here first)

Yeah guy is a real piece of work...
-
This is a disgrace.... guess they are implying he lied, or that he should lie so as to support their case. Muppets, never liked Rio, always struck me as an illiterate punk.

But if you think about it you only really need one wish....

No your right, EU law would prevent maximum wage being introduced. But I'm sure you could restrict a wage bill, to either a percentage of club earnings or a set monetary figure for all. Actually restricting every club to a maximum £50 million wage bill would enable a level playing field, with clubs deciding on bigger squads or better quality for the budget. Tough call really.... just worry that most leagues in Europe are going to end up two horse races.
-
Minus the debt obviously. But I'd rather be owned by the fans than owned by a share holder.... a shareholder who wants a dividend at the end of the season.

Depends, think they would have to make it more affordable for families to attend. Actually think they should reintroduce category "a,b,c" games again. As for FFP, would it not be possible to restrict the percentage of revenue spent on wages? Strikes me that the wages are what's crippling teams. My main concern is that FFP is going to reduce the leagues to 1-2 horse races. Who wants the PL to turn into La Ligue? I'm also hoping these American owners (and the rest) don't start bleeding the sport dry, sure they have seen the TV revenue streams for the next 10-20 years and have been licking thier lips! Because they sure aren't in the sport because of their love of the game. FIFA should be introducing a RM / Barcelona style of club management back into the game.
