  1. Really? ? Midday sucks, no time in the pub before the game, always has a negative effect on the atmosphere.
  2. +1 some are now so blinded by thier Torres bashing that they are ignoring the good things he does (not often granted). He plays for our club, should be offering more support not firing insults at him.... Thank god the bashing brigade don't actually attend matches.
  3. Baned for 9 months for failing to attend a drug test. Condoning the use of the word "choc ice" in reference to Ashley Cole. Have you heard the guy, something tells me the vocabulary is limited.
  4. Guys do dumb he can't even come up with a decent name, just bashing keys like a monkey on speed!!
  5. Your right, this won't be an easy game for "the arse" but I think this has draw written all over it. If that's the case is be incredible happy... ?
  6. Absolutely no chance that JT is getting a not guilty verdict. FA have backed themselves into a corner; actually tearing up there own rule book in order to proceed with this case. It's a farce..... JT is pretty hard to defend sometimes..... But Rio Ferdinand is even harder, what a fucking clown that guy is. Drug using, illiterate racist, who lacks the IQ to see the irony in some of the things he says and does.
  7. Damn, is Falcao due a new contract or is his agent incredible keen for him to join us? Have to ask who leaked the transfer story, doubt it came from the club. Come on Nando, man up, learn to retain possession (this is his biggest problem - not goals IMO) and bang in twenty by Xmas (16 to go) otherwise I fear for your future.
  8. Nice stat, can see why they broke the bank for him.
  9. Going to be tough, can't honestly say I know which way this is going to go. I expect RDM to play at least one defensive winger, possible two, he may even adopt the 4-4-1-1 approach he used against Juventus. I wouldnt be surprised if Hazard was dropped for this one, Mata is in better form and well rested after a month off. I'd also like to see Moses given the chance, he is very dynamic and his direct running could be valuable on the break. This is our first serious domestic test. If we manage to come away with a point id say that constitutes success. KTBFFH
  10. Beckham? Really? I can think of three world class Englishman at Chelsea. Regularly got into Uefa select elevens and one challenged and came second twice in the Balllon D'or.
  11. Getting this in first.... Torres was shite!!!
  12. Are we? You forgotten someone already?
  13. Might be wrong but didn't he play out wide against Arsenal?
  14. Guess the FA had little choice given thier earlier actions. It's funny looking back at the things JT has got upto though. Affairs, alleged racism, selling corporate boxes, tours of the ground for £s, gambling, drug dealer parents. It's like Eastenders...
  15. Seems to be a good idea, but I'm guessing the excess money goes to greedy owners rather than grassroots football? I hate that football has become a means to make far owners richer.
  16. It's a sad day when I admit to having agreed with an article in the DM. But having looked at the weather outside, the facts it's Monday and my bank balance I can confirm that that sad day has come. FA are in a difficult position made harder by thier earlier actions. Should have privately asked JT to resign his captaincy rather than publicly hanging him out to dry. They should have stated that there ruling would be based on the civil action in the courts. Instead they break their own rules (and one could argue the rule of law in finding him guilty before a trial), shall probably be on the end of a costly legal battle (not sure JT is going to let this drop) and our club losses a player for 8-10 games.
  17. So tired of FFP, it's going to cause virtual monopolies in football, ruining competition based purely on the financial capacity of clubs. Going to rant now, but I'm sure we could come up with fairer proposals which could help the game. For instance: - why not impose a wage cap on clubs? Say your wage bill can only be £100 million a year (example), if you go over this you have to pay a penalty (maybe 50p for every pound over), these fines go into a pot and are distributed to the rest of the league? Big clubs could still break rules, but in doing so they would be contributing to a fairer distribution of money. Just the first thing which popped into my head. But wouldn't these ideas create stronger leagues? Larger clubs still have an advantage, but it would help negate those advantages, whilst discouraging clubs from spending beyond it's means. I just don't want to see leagues dominated by two clubs, without Roman and the Arabs (forget names) the PL would have been won by United every year since its formation (with a slight break for Arsenal). Spain, Portugal and to a lesser extent Germany and Italy are very predictable. Rant over, thoughts / ideas people?
  18. Love Mourinho for what he did at the club. Would I want him back? Maybe. I just can't stand the media circus which follows him around, the controversies, fighting and negative press he seems to attract. Almost every week he comes out with something which makes the back pages of the paper. He was the tag tops dreams come true.
  19. Nice find.... can see this going legal if the FA come to a conclusion not on keeping with the courts findings.
  20. I don't hate United, but I do hate the glory hunting fans that live in Surrey. As a kid growing up in the eighties all I'd get we're Liverpool and United fans banging on about how great they were. I find it ironic that they were one of the first clubs to float on the markets. They used that money to invest in players, the ground, and huge wages. That bought success, and in turn bigger turn over. Was this turn over which drew in the parasites (glazers).... You reap what you sow Utd, don't want to hear any complaints about being loaded down with debt. Yours was one of the first clubs to turn football into a business. Ps - remind them that Chelsea by rights should have been the first Ebglish team in the European Cup. We got no history? Bahhh.... BS!!!!
  21. Not sure whose worse. The guys in the article or you for reading the Daily Mail.
  22. I try... think Danny boy needs a run out. No point in buying another striker, Lukaka is going to be ready to step up next year.
