Yes, I personally do believe he's the best left-back in the world, and perhaps one of the best of all time, but as long as he didn't join another PL team, I'd much rather have Bertrand playing. We've had him since he was young, he's on FAR less wages, and I honestly believe he's just about ready to step up.

i think we should sign hulk because he likes to cut in and shoot and we dont already have that in a certain daniel someone, and his name is cool which means we will sell a lot in asia and since we go there on pre season tour next season maybe that means we have to spend all this money on him. he will take us to the next level because a winger who plays like a striker is what we need more than anything. we no longer need a creative deep midfielder or a right back we only need hulk. he can play in the striker position even though hes only played there maybe once before and he turns green when hes angry. so plz roman do everything you can to get him.

How exactly will De Bruyne fit in there? As I understand it, Werder Bremen were playing a narrower formation than usual last season (hence an iffy season for Marko Marin). This Summer however, they've bought Eljero Elia; who usually plays as a left midfielder/left winger. So if they're going back to a winger formation, Elia will most likely occupy the left hand side. Will they play De Bruyne on the right? In the centre? Or just use him as a rotation option?

Other than them, there's a scattering of right-backs who play out of position at left-back or in midfield (as is common in the Bundesliga) or even play in the 2nd tier of German football who are better than a lot of right-backs in the Premier League; including our own and Mr. Cesar in question.

He's young, meaning he'll most likely be here a long time. He's not that amazing. He won't take us to the 'next level' which we need to be at. Therefore, I am worried about this transfer; regardless of price. There are soooooo many Bundesliga right-backs who would take us to that 'next level' right now. Wish we'd do more shopping there.

I preached to everyone on this forum in January that we should sign him and I got laughed at and called 'delusional'. You have a better reputation around here though, so hopefully people open their eyes more now regarding this player.

I've always stated how I don't think Cavani would fit in our system and that I'd prefer Falcao, but in all honesty, I really would cum myself if we signed Cavani. He's an extremely hard worker on the pitch, a leader, and would just be scary to go up against.

He's a VERY good player, but only when the team caters to him - quite like Torres. He has to be used in a specific formation with specific tactics to get the best out of him. The only player I could compare him to in terms of playing style is probably Dzeko. He would have worked here very well last season, I'm sure; but I doubt he'd work out in our new direction.

Everything on the pitch seems to slow down when he gets on the ball today - but in a good way. He's having less influence on the game than usual though. He does indeed seem better a bit deeper where he can collect the ball.
