Dear people slating RDM for using a 'defensive winger' instead of someone else - Ryan Bertrand started his career as a winger. He was then converted to an attacking full-back. He is possibly the best crosser in our squad. Many of you say Sturridge should have started there, but you'd then complain about him being selfish and not passing to Torres. Bertrand is unselfish, and a team player. He doesn't care about personal glory (yet). He deserves to start our first Premier League game of the season after helping us defeat Bayern Munich in our very last game of last season. That is all.

I liked Bosingwa. I honestly did. He had more bad games than good, but he always gave his very best (which is quite embarrassing). Regardless whether he was or wasn't liked by the fans, it's pissed me the fuck off that he's joined another London club.

I was already planning on watching Nottingham Forest this season as I want to get into the npower Championship more, so this move has made me happy.

Remember how the last central defender we sent on loan to Nottingham Forest turned out? (Yes, I'm aware Hutchinson now plays right-back, blah blah blah. But he really is a centre-back.)

Lukaku can fuck off for all I care. All this stuff about him supporting the club since he was young seems bullshit at this point. He only started saying Drogba and Chelsea were his 'idol' and 'supported club' after the media began to draw comparisons with Drogba. His idol is Thierry Henry. His dad and 2 brothers = Definitely Arsenal supporters, as has been confirmed in the past. I'm beginning to think that little video package on Youtube of him visiting Stamford Bridge was really just a set-up and hopeful tear-jerker to push the move through. You don't join a club like Chelsea at his age and expect to be playing loads of games. That's just unheard of. He's now embarrassing the club whether you realise it or not, and is disrespecting the fans, the players and the staff. Doesn't sound like he supports the club now that he's getting money from us, does it? Literally thousands of footballers would beg, kill, do anything to be in the position he's in. He will pay for his words. Someone above Di Matteo's position will be very unhappy, and rightfully so.

3-4-3 is actually my all-time favourite formation, and I believe we used something similar in the mid 90's. I would love for us to adopt it. (Edited post. Didn't realise it said at the beginning that it wasn't his article.)

I actually agree with a previous post. I believe Ivanovic deserves a fine. Discipline must be instilled. However, I actually think that was a pretty decent game from us, considering we played half of it with a man down and several players out of position. As always, there's negatives to take away from it; such as Mikel, the right-back position, Mikel, poor passing and Mikel; but some positives too.

Bertrand started his career as a winger, so I'm not surprised by how versatile and good he is. Absolutely love him.
