He's a very good player. But Reus, Ribery (at least pre-Guardiola) and other players in his position are great players. I don't care how many dribbles Hazard can make in a game. Dribbling never made a footballer great. Being a game winner consistently is what makes a player great, or being a game saver. Anything else and you're just another player making up the 11, not a Ballon D'or winner. Apparently it's difficult to see the difference between very good performances and exceptional performances, for some.

What's absurd is acting like we're all on the cusp of cumming over Hazard but never actually reaching that climax since ultimately, he fails to deliver more often than he should. If the idea that there are flaws to Hazard's game that he isn't improving on is somehow a bad notion which makes one absurd, then you are as absurd as myself.

Regarding my tongue in cheek caution comment, I feel like we're the only 'big' club in England whose fans need to put a constant wet blanket over everything. If we're doing good, great in fact, it's always "lets keep our heads down and just kick on" (as fans i'm not sure how we do that but whatever) and i feel it totally kills the energy & hype of doing well in a season. Man City fans just enjoy winning and let it inflate their egos until it lifts them like a hot air balloon and carries them to the trophy. They have confidence. I feel like our fans need more confidence & articles just blowing up our ego saying "yeah, we're killing shit, enjoy it." Let City do the worrying for once.
