Lampard is too shy of possession to be starting alongside Matic (who doesn't like to spend a lot of time on the ball). This is why Luiz-Matic worked well. Obviously Terry's niggle meant we had to shuffle around things, but I think Matic-Ramires or even Mikel would be a bit better for the 2nd half.

His attacking, fluid and flair-like style of play would compliment Hazard perfectly on the flank and I think he's the sort of player Jose wants for our future. Shaw is a superb option too, but I have reservations regarding his link-up ability. Physically he's a beast; but technically, Ricardo has his number and more.
