It remains to be seen IMO whether some of these players mentioned (i.e. Cesc and Diego) are actually done here. People mentioning that Hazard should be replaced are just being ludicrous and emotional. Pedro has just arrived...
Solutions exist within our squad to get the best out of some of these players that are underperforming - we don't need a massive 7/8 player overhaul at all. Our squad is decent - a couple of great additions will turn it into a great one.

I will quote this post, to make some things clear.
First, I think it would be nice if the staff can share with the rest of the forum, what they believe is the ideal talkchelsea, and how the things you pointed in that another post are related with Jose Mourinho, because its seems you just said the staff don't see as a good thing people saying a bad word about Mourinho.
Second, I want to express my point of view about Mourinho. You might be glad that Mourinho is the manager, and the whole stadium might chant his name tomorrow. I realized that many fans have a special relationship with Mourinho. I remember that TOPTB said one time something like this "there is no better man in the world than Jose Mourinho to manage a southwest London football club", and he also said that only people who really undertand what Chelsea is, would undertand what he was talking about.
I don't pretend to undertand what a sothewest London club is, since as I foreign, and an outsider, I cant tell you that I will never understand this kind of relationship, where the club and the manager are the same thing. Chelsea is Mourinho, and Mourinho is Chelsea. If you speak a bad word about Mourinho, you are speaking bad about Chelsea.
I don't have any special relantionship with Jose Mourinho, because as TOPTB said, I will never understand why there is no better man to be at a southwest London football club. He was important for Chelsea (Mourinho, not TOPTB), but I don't think he deserves all the credits for the success the club got in recent years. With the amount of investment Chelsea made in football in the past 10 years, the results where only a question of time, Mourinho or no Mourinho. City and PSG are here to prove that.
So, I'm not discussing Mourinho CV, or how many trophies he won in the past. I'm discussing if he is the right manager for long term succes and, whether you like it or not, Mourinho was hired again to bring success, and he got a contract extension to bring long term success, and thats how he is going to be evaluated. A big football club, with many sponsors and marketing deals, is not paying huge money for a manager because he is the best man to be at a southwest London football club.
At this moment, I don't think Mourinho is the right man for a long term job. The quality of the squad deteriorated since he returned, his tactics are looking outdated and unidimensional, he is proving to be really bad in rebuilding a squad, and he has a very weird way to "motivate" his players.
You said in another post, that something must change in this forum. That might be true, but I don't think many of your comments are helping. If people who are big fan of Mourinho want to discuss Mourinho's job with good arguments, thats fine, but sometimes its not happening.
Days ago you just said people will be fucked off if the team win tomorrow, and some people were saying bad things about Mourinho even "when the team was 6 points clear last season".
Thats not helping this forum, if you ask me. If the team is 6 points clear, it doesn't mean everything is right. If the team win a match, thats not enough to fuck people off.
I have to remember you, even last season many people were criticizing this team, people who were saying Mourinho was genius, are still saying he is a genius. Last season, you were always renaming this topic to "moaning thread", you know because everyone who realized the team had many problems when it was "6 points clear", were just moaning.
I don't pretend to know whats bad or good for Chelsea, perhaps non-foreign who will be chanting Mourinho's name tomorrow know one thing or two about that.
However, Mourinho's future relies on his results. There are many signs out there that is losing the squad, the team is unbalanced, tactics are poor and I don't see he changing his ways, because since 2010 Mourinho is looking everything, but special.

Can people stop saying shit like this. It really says a lot of your character. Quite honestly it is quite sexist to say that about Eva Carneiro, and allude that she is only respected because of her looks. For me and many others her looks play no part in defending her(she is average imo), she had little to no blame in this situation. She was doing her job, her first priority is the safety of players, not what Mou wants and the tactical side.
She should be respected for many reasons excluding her looks. How many first team woman doctors do you see in football clubs? nerveless at one of the top clubs in the world. That is a merit that should be respected in a sport dominated by males.
Secondly there are many males and females who admire and support her because of her professionalism and as a role model for many young females who watch the sport.
Personally whenever i see her on the pitch, i think what a great ambassador for Chelsea football. Honestly there so many things to admire about the professional Eva Carneiro. She is intelligent, dedicated, ambitious, courageous, etc. Your comment and others are so unfair since she is not oversexualized or dress skimpy or do other things to attract to her physical features.

Best manager in the world but an insufferable cunt. The cult following he has is frightening. He used to be funny and witty but that played out nearly a decade ago.
Personally I don't give two squirts of piss about this incident but this is a guy that goes around poking people in the eye.

The idiots are the ones who think being a Chelsea supporter = supporting Mourinho at all cost. If and whenever he does leave, I hope this sect stop pretending to be Chelsea fans and f*** off to support him wherever he goes. Be that to a domestic rival or whoever. Remember, Mourinho said he has no qualms about managing one of our domestic rivals.
If you're willing to turn a blind eye to the incredible amount of negativity this guy bring to the club, then by the side claim to be a fan of the club, you're a hypocrite. Or just really small time. As if Mourinho is the be all and end of all of Chelsea. Embarrassing. Even United fans don't behave in this manner towards Ferguson.
I know you're one of his devoted acolytes. Please re-evaluate the reason why you support the club.

We are allowed to be pissed off.. We can say and act how we like and if you don't like it then just don't bother coming on here when we lose. Wether you like it or not we will moan and bitch when Mourinho makes stupid decisions and doesn't live up to his words or when players like Ivanovic keep getting starts or when we sell players like Schurrle and buy jokers like Cuadrado!

Ok - none of us actually know what was said between Frank and Chelsea - chances are we never will.
My view - and just my view - is along the lines of - Frank we don't think you are worth what you are asking, you are free to move on.
So, I put myself in Franks position - I FEEL (important part) like I have just been shafted by the one club I gave my playing career to, put my body on the line and gave everything and this is my reward!
So yeah - he's going to go out and prove it was wrong to write him off - and guess what - it WAS!
Loyalty is a two way street. Whilst he was at the club he was a top bloke and let's not bring 'private education' into things - my wife was privately educated, whilst I wasn't - does that make her some kind of untrustworthy / classless person? No - she was lucky enough to be born into a family where her Dad started with nothing, built a business and wanted to invest in his children - so that has nothing to do with it!
I do find some of these arguments borderline pathetic and sensationalist
We let Frank go, we fucked up and we are now reaping what we have sown. There's a fucking useful life lesson right there !!! I, for one will be less quick to write people off in the future as a result of this.
As for 'Class' etc - If Drogba had knocked us out when playing for Gala - would it all be fine? I seriously doubt it with the 'fickle' loyalty and respect being shown here.
I've said all I'm going to say - you guys have your opinion, I have mine - I won't convince you to change it and vice-versa.
    Cheers

What is everyone so bitter for? Frank is a Chelsea legend, and rightly so. Congratulations, all of you, on calling him a cunt, a wanker, a Judas, amongst other things.
I still consider him a Chelsea legend and I'll give him an ovation if he comes to the Bridge and play. I hope he won't score, but I'll definitely not boo him. This is the guy that has won us the league, the Champions league, the Europa league, ... He's been great for us!
Yes, he now scores for City and yes, he's won them points. It saddens me to see him do that. He's certainly spiced up the league, that's for sure.
But how the lot of you can be so disrespectful to one of our Legends, can't understand that...
I'll be in Matthew Harding when we play City, and I'll be clapping if Frank comes on. But I won't if he scores, off course, I'll be sad.
But calling a legend like that a cunt? Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

This is what I'm afraid of. In the 2012 season it was 'tired because of the Olympics', last season it was 'tired because of the Confederation Cup/focusing on the WC' and now next season it seems it will be 'tired/emotionally drained because of the World Cup'.
How long do the excuses go on for? How do you excuse a player for going missing for nearly half a season or never really doing enough offensively? He's still a professional football player and gets rest/extra rest like other players who have also played in tournaments. I don't think the excuses can last forever and I think even some of the Brazilian member here would agree with me. He needs to have a much better season this season in my eyes. No more excuses.

It was like his career for chelsea scaled down to three weeks, First match good, after that he slowly gets worse. I understand the tactics wasn't great but the player also holds some responsibility, going forward he was dreadful.

People have to stop blaming managers for everything. The team lost 7-1 at home. No team, with any formation should ever lose like that. People are complaining that Willian didn't start or why Fed plays or other changes. It would have made no difference. Brazil was destroyed. You think Scolari said "Hey Luiz, go walk around central midfield and don't mark your man?". "Hey Fernandinho, give the ball away to the opposition every chance you get?" Managers ultimately make very little difference overall. If a team loses 1-0, you can point to some tactical mistake or sub that seemed strange (which people still do too often) but at 7-1? It's 99% the players fault. They were, to a man, atrocious and they have to take responsibility for that.

Will this guy never shut up? Everyone and their dog already knows he wants to go so what’s the point of going on and on about it every fucking day? Chelsea are not a club to keep players against their will, especially ones that haven't even done anything for the shirt, so all he needs to do is tell the grown ups he wants a transfer and they'll sort it out. Absolutely no reason to involve the media every day and giving disrespectful interviews only makes himself come across an unprofessional douchebag in the eyes of many.

Well done Romelu, in just a few months he's managed to turn me (and many others) from desperately wanting him to succeed at Chelsea to first being indifferent on whether he stays or goes and now even wanting him to fuck off. Lukaku's got all the potential to be a quality player and it's a real shame things didn't work out for him at Chelsea but no matter how many goals he bangs in for his new club I won't miss him because of the way he's acted.

One of the differences between James and Hazard is that Columbia built that team around James to get the best out of him. Fuck know's what Wilmots tactics were half the time but Eden was often marginalised and pushed to the side so De Bruyne became the most important player.
Still Eden does have a habit of looking a bit disinterested at times. We can all remember the games where he did decide to show up and run at his marker at every opportunity but those still aren't frequent enough. He HAS to do it in damn near every game next season and if he does he becomes one of the best players in the world.
And Jose has laid down the challenge. He's given him a very privileged position in the team but he's also been critical of him - it's Eden's job now to respond and I think he will....hopefully.

If we are being 100% real, he had a horrendous world cup but all us Chelsea fans overrate and overhype him too much. Yes, he can score against Hull, or a hat-trick against Newcastle, but the reality is that he is not a player that we should build our team around. His inconsistency drives me nuts. I'll reserve my judgement until the end of next season when we have a proper striker leading the line.

Wonder how long more are people gonna find excuses for Hazard's bad performances. There may be other factors why he hasn't performed to a high level but that is only valid till a certain extent. It's almost as if people are too scared to criticize our supposed golden boy and/or fear that he's going to leave if he's not loved/appreciated that they can't judge his performances objectively; praise him when he deserves one and criticize him when he deserves it.
