One glimpse at the Willian thread before that game and people were praying we go no where near him.
We have the most fickle fans in the league.

Everybody who thinks Sturridge should be our main CF is wrong.
Torres is still our better option, and thats worrying.

I wouldn't slate him for his often forward runs, it's obvious it's something Di Matteo either asked or encouraged.

Told the the fourth ref to fuck off straight to his face when leaving the pitch. 22 months since signing and he finally gained my respect

Back down... All you do is make your self sound like an idiot on a daily basis and majority of the people here think you're a moron. Regarding your power statement, I do what I want because I don't want twats ruining this forum more then they already have. I'll take a warning just like anyone other member here, mainly because I don't give a fuck no more and unlike yourself I and a few others keep this site running not ruining it. Regarding Justin he was on his last warning just like yourself.
Again, I don't know if you read my previous post I did not take anything away from Ramires he is actually one of my favorite players but you having digs at Mikel because you find Ramires better then him is not justified. They are a team and they help eaach other because that's what team mates generally do.

I pray Ramires never picks up a serious injury because if he does his decline will be even more steep than Essien's.
Even with no injuries eventually he will lose this blistering pace, so hopefully he can develop his ball skills further before then.

And suddenly its fashionable to like Mikel. Those of us who have backed him since 2008 are feeling pretty smug, right? At least until it becomes fashionable to slate him again.

That's because now people like Mata, Hazard and Oscar find space and demand the ball. Mikel has never had passing options like he has now. We used to play like statues, nobody moving and creating passing lanes. Everybody was just standing still and waiting for something to happen. Now we have players roaming, finding space and showing for the ball. Mikel has never been the problem. People used to complain he holds on to the ball too long. What was he supposed to do? Pass to somebody who was standing still and had defenders on him? He was abused for his intelligence and is now being praised with backhanded compliments "oh he's improved, he passes quicker etc" haha makes you wonder what the hell people are watching sometimes.
If somebody finds space and shows for the ball Mikel will find him 10/10. If they stand still and have defenders on them he will keep possession and make simple passes until he has better options. Only Mikel gets abuse for that. In Spain they would treat him like a king.

Why would Torres run when he sees Daniel already in position to score an easy goal? I think some people never played the game before.

You just have to admire his cool, calm and composed reaction after that prick Walker needlessly whacked the ball straight at him. Other players would probably have retaliated in negative manner but he didn't and got his revenge at the end!

Started again today and nearly scored - hit the post and then the 'keeper saved it. Sounds like he had another good game - someone on Twitter describes his style as a 'Berbatov-like nonchalance'

More Watford fans saying nice things about Chalobah:
"Very assured on the ball with a good range of passing and is able to make room for himself.
Much more suited to midfield at the moment IMO, but will make a good defender when he bulks up."
"Has played brilliantly so far, you'd never know he was 17 and you'd never know the game vs Bristol City (I think it was, memory failing me) was his first ever senior game.
He's very assured on the ball, confident and strong, can really drive forward and pass too. Reminds me quite a bit of Yaya Toure more than a centre back."
"Chalobah has been excellent for us in the short time he has been here, the first time I watched him play was against Bristol City where he got man of the match in that game, he has been very confident and composed and he always wants the ball I would say he has been one of our most important players in the last few games and has helped us turn results around. In my opinion he has definitely been more impressive in the midfield than defence which has surprised me as I was expecting him to be more of a centre back. Before seeing him play I was unsure about the signing mainly because of his age although admittedly I didn't know much about him, but he plays like a player who has been playing senior football for a while."
"Only seen him live once v Bristol City. Very impressive, great touch, vision, passing, I don't see him as a CB though. Apparently made a few poor passes Tues but he's young and inexperienced and locallish games are pressured environments so understandable. I imagine its doing him good and keeping him grounded to be playing and developing alongside the Udinese starlets Forestfairy, Batteredchops etc who are all equally impressive."
"He'll be an England international sooner rather than later if he carries on his progression as I thought with Cleverley when he was here on loan.
His quality of play is no surprise to me. Very versatile indeed and he can operate as a defensive box to box midfielder and as he matures drop into the defence."
"I think he has been outstanding and when you take into account his age, he's been even better than that.
He reminds me of Carlton Palmer but with much better skill and technique in every area!"
"He has as said previously give the ball away on a few occasions, but I have yet to see such an influencial young player in a Watford shirt since John Barnes came on the scene. Totally different players, but he oozes quality - for someone so young to have the confidence he has, it is no wonder he makes a few mistakes - but he is one of those players who you feel would make the entrance money to any game worthwhile, just to see him play.
He came on late in the game at home to Brighton and his impact was instant, played well against Bristol City (not sure he was worthy of MOTM, but...), did failry well by all accounts up at Hudders' and was, in my eyes, excellent against Charlton - yes, he misplaced a few passes and got caught in possession once or twice, but one run in the first half which took him through the heart of their defence into a good goalscoring position (only to pass it off) was fantastic.
You've got a star in the making there, no mistake. I just hope you'll leave him with us for the season and then get him in your first team next term.
Hopefully he can remain injury free, the play time must be doing him the world of good."
"He is playing to a level of at least 7 years more experience than his age.
If he can maintain this, he will be part of the England Senior set up in his 20's"

It is human nature to feel that way, but it is also common sense not to say it to the media. How would he feel if RDM decided to be 'honest' as well and said in an interview something like: "Torres has been mostly shit since we bought him. We are currently looking for anybody to take him off our hands."?
