  1. Although it'd cost at least 400m to build and there seems no obvious locations for it to be built. We can move the away fans out of the shed now, we don't need a new stadium to do that, trouble is it doesn't look like the clubs planning to do that either. Samsung Stadium? Get out!
  2. On the basis of what? He scored a seemingly deflected goal? Shorter, yes, and I think they need to be more opinionated...
  3. The star man choices get stranger and stranger!
  4. I highly doubt he will. Carvalho and Terry are the first choice partnership at the back, and given that both had a rest on Wednesday, both will be back for this one. Ferreira vs Belleti LB - will be interesting to see who gets the nod.
  5. We should not be moved - most certainly agree with everything written there.
  6. Heard the Bolton fans three or four times during the whole match. Thought the Shed was quiet though considering there were 4500 Chelsea supporters, the loudest one I heard from over there was 'Chelsea' when those u12's came out.
  7. Don't think the acoustics are great in the MH - but it is often louder than the SL and SU, and gets a few more songs started.
  8. Hmm Carling Cup. A good chance to rest those who've been in action quite a bit recently - though it's still Bolton and a good side will have to be out. Doubt Borini will start - Kalou and Sturridge are both more deserving, especially the former, althohgh it'd be nice to see him with some action nearer the end of the game.
  9. I do look at the pictures on it to be fair - and I really don't see what made Joe Cole win your man of the match award, other than a few flicks here and there...
  10. And that was probably the worst episode of question time of all time.
  11. Woah - Anelka was really good throughout, I don't see how on earth that performance was a 6/10. I don't think I can ever recall his workrate being so great, and he bossed their defence around all game - hence why Kalou got subbed off after him.
  12. I don't really see that. Forest have invested heavily in their team in the last two summers, so it isn't much of a surprise. Blackpool and Preston with much less financial backing are in play-off positions. Gibson is one of the most loyal guys in football and definitely would have sticked by his man if he thought he was going to bring them up then he's taken an important decision to sack him. Whether that'll be the right one or not we wait to see...
  13. I think you've just found your answer...
  14. Thanks for the acknowledgement. When I first joined Chelsea-supporters.net all those years ago, I would have never have thought in a million years the site would be in this strong position and that I'd be such an influential and respected member as I am now.
  15. Bosingwa did very well against Villa with minimal help from any midfielders.
  16. I'd say Ancelotti would pick Ferreira ahead of Belleti. Personally I much pefer Paulo to Ivanovic in that position too. Hasn't Ancelotti said he's hoping Bosingwa to return for the wekeend?
  17. No it isn't, it's the second best in the league after Villa's. Cech had a good game yesterday - often came lengths out of his goal to help out the defence and is handling was very, very good. Myth.
  18. Sorry but what all all these annoying green lines under words linking to advertisements?
  19. The Shed lower certainly isn't as good for atmosphere as the MHL by quite a long shot.
  20. Partly correct, but I don't think Joe Cole was actually the answer in hindsight - he didn't have any match sharpness about him as proved when he came on and possibly wasn't fully match fit which also showed. Kalou or Sturridge was the answer and Ancelotti snubbed both. http://store.liverpo...h-set/pid-28099 Looks like that very beach ball...
  21. 1 - Probably shit as per usual. Will we sell out? Probably not. 2 - MHL.
  22. With an oyster card it's much cheaper.
  23. Frank Lampard has never been the quickest starter to a season. The problem is partly positionally, playing at the tip of a diamond means less deep runs, and also means he's much easier to mark and reduce his influence on the game. Partly why Lampard is playing deeper in recent matches, with Malouda often playing at the tip. I have no doubts though he'll score 15+ this season.
