This summer I'd like: Sell/Leave - Ferreira and Deco (although Belleti will probably be off too). Bring in - Fellaini (would be my top transfer target in forthcoming seasons) and Ribery. FFS we're top of the league and some of you are talking about wholesale changes.

It won't happen, at his best he's a good player. Usually a bit of a horror show though in the PL.

No it wasn't. He hardly had much to do tbh.

I was in gate 13 and thought it was pretty shit tbh. Cardiff fans were excellent, they deserved much better.

Just a shame there was hardly any songs and an atmosphere though eh? Really poor.

It's not a question of one or the other, it's using both effectively over the course of the season.

Yeah, half what we paid for him and he'd probably start to look like a decent signing. I just can't envisage him giving world class performanecs week after week anytime soon (next couple of years), which is what someone at that price entering the prime of their career should be achieving.

It's been difficult for him. There's no clear left midfield spot in the diamond, the LCM one is Lampard's. Malouda then starts if we're using the Christmas Tree or 4-3-3, which means Zhirkov chances in that position are limited. Then we've got one of the best left backs in the world, so his chances again are limited there. For me he's best when on the ball, running into the box from the left side, there's just so much competition for him though. At the moment it feels like we've paid £18m for a squad player.

The chances of us drawing away to Preston aren't as minimal as you make think IMO. We'll have to put out a very good side and put in a performance to beat them. If we don't, a replay or loss would be on the cards, which is something that very well might happen. That's just tradition as far as i'm concerned, I've never known anything different with replays.

I'd like to see a one year extension, but two years at his age is too much. He started off excellently, and although his form has dipped I still think he's playing better than he did last season. Keeps the shape quite well in our diamond formation, and I have no qualms about him in our squad at the moment.

He is a left midfielder in his natural position, although as we've seen for Russia he's also a very good left back because of his tackling abilities. Malouda doesn't have the same defensive ability as Zhirkov. Lampard is a very complete CM, and his position in this current Chelsea team is LCM, and I can't see him being replaced any time soon.

1.) - Kalou was excellent yesterday, had one of his best 45 minutes for us in ages in the second half. Easily my man of the match. I think Sturridge hasn't proved enough to warrant starting above Kalou. Although the same could be said vice-versa. Thus, one starts one game, the other starts the next. 2.) Possibly to give Ivanovic a rest. 3.) Probably having a rest too. 4.) Where do you want him to play? LCM is Lampard's position.

I'm probably most unenthusiastic about Zhirkov at the moment...
