  1. Me! Wanted to go to one pre-season game, and there was none better than this one. Ticket was a fiver, doesn't get better than that. No, well at least I say that now. I doubt he's regretting moving from being the manager of Chelsea reserves to (ending up at) Reading, a team knocking on the door of the Premier League.
  2. Pretty irrelevent as both get through a number of games a season. It'll be a very rare occasion that Terry and Lampard both don't play.
  3. They may not need to, but if they want to share why they started supporting Chelsea, why not?
  4. Ditto. It's ruined my sleep pattern that has.
  5. Don't really get what you mean. Anyway, can't stand the new kit, definitely won't be buying it.
  6. If I developed a liking for, lets say, AC Milan and eventually said that yes I am a fan/ supporter of them. But had never been to the San Siro before, like the tens of thousands that do pay their hard earned cash to go and support AC Milan, I would say that was rather insulting to those fans at the San Siro, to say that I supported Milan as much as them. Anyway, to the topic starter. I don't you're a glory hunter, but seriously, why do you need to be reassured that you're a fan or whatever?
  7. After annoucing he wants to leave, I don't think that's in his mind. It was disrespectful towards the club & supporters and the quicker he leaves, the better.
  8. It was, but whos wouldn't have been given the amount of time and space Seattle gave him? Played extremely well for a handful of matches last season, for the most was completely shit and his lack of effort last term didn't help his cause. Hope he leaves.
  9. Papers rather than football websites. But still, on the most serious level, TribalFootball and Goal articles are more 'articulate' than the OP.
  10. What the fuck was half of that about? Don't have a clue how each player here is irreplaceable either. By the way Serious? What papers are you reading?
  11. It's him or Mancienne then. I would prefer Ivanovic, but ONLY if Bosingwa is fit.
  12. I fully agree with Frank. He's been truly sensational this season. The best passer in the Premiership, and as far as i'm concerned, the best player in the Premiership. Stats to back me up as well.
  13. Whoever goes at left back, Messi will get past a few times in the evening. We'll have to hope it's an off night, and Mancienne/Ivanovic perform well. If he does get the call up, i'll be excited for him and IMO he'd give it a good shot. Would remind him why he's at Chelsea.
  14. They look horrible. A joke. An embarrasment. I really hope that isn't the style of our home shirt for next season.
  15. Forgot to say hello to you BlueLion in all the excitement haha lol! Loved the guy a few rows infront of us who kept on trying to start off the he's half a girl and half a boy song for the first half an hour. A shame it never properly got going.
  16. Who goes left back though? I suppose Ivanovic, Belleti and Bosingwa are the main candidates...
  17. And to think we've got Wembley on Saturday. What a life!
  18. Liverpool fans were shit. I couldn't hear myself at the top of my lungs, let alone those whiny scousers! Amazing game, amazing atmosphere.
  19. I'll give you a quick hello before the match or at half time as i'm sitting 30/31, AA, gate 11. Don't think i'm a strange some strange randomer.
  20. Player ratings for Chels I would say: Cech- 7.5 Ivanovic - 9 Terry - 7 Alex - 7 A.Cole - 7 Essien - 8.5 Lampard - 7 Ballack - 7 Malouda - 7 Kalou - 7 Drogba - 8
