A good squad player, but no more, and it really depresses me to see him anywhere near the starting line up. I don't rate him too highly as a football player, he's not good enough on the ball, is far too inconsistent and when given time on the ball he never makes the right decisions. He'll never become a top quality football player, and I hope in future seasons we'll have someone better on the bench to call on then him. "Anelka mould" is a very bizzare comment, they're two worlds apart and I don't see how Kalou even starts to fit in to an Anelka mould. If I was him i'd probably sign it though, he won't get a better club than what he's at playing on a fairly regular basis.

Yeah, we sold over 4000 tickets or something and we're taking the whole of the South Stand. Doesn't appear that Reading have sold out the other three stands though, which is a little bit of a shame.

We should be looking to start with a sort of first team we have in plan for the United game I think too, and then make a number of subs in the second half. It would be nice to see Ballack and Joe Cole play as well, after missing the America tour.

You're c00l. Luckily for us Hunt isn't playing then. Tom, I think we've got decent youthful back-up but nowhere near as good as United's or Arsenal's. Hopefully they'll get a few more performances under Ancelotti in the Carling Cup or lesser FA Cup matches.

No one knows why he would do something like that out of malice, because it wasn't out of malice, it was an accident. Stephen Hunt is one of the best players in the Championship. It's him that wants to leave, rather than Rodgers not wanting him in the team. He has said though that he won't stand in the way of a move, because if he was to, it'd be to a Premier League side where he could further his career more so than at Reading and they'd get a pretty good fee for him too. I would hope that we start with a better team than the one listed, and i'm sure we will be.

And why on earth would you think Hunt would do something like that out of malice? Undoubtedly, he'll get booed on Saturday, but I would much rather we spend our time cheering Cech instead. That won't happen though.
