He was one of our best players tonight, but no one on the pitch was even close to Cisse. Absolutely amazing the two goals. That cross deserved a goal though. Seems like the confidence is back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcYFY6eIOy0

Well it is impossible to beat a team whose centre forward scores every time he shoots.
-
Anyone thinking this actually may happen? I just can't see it... http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20120501/fc-barcelona/drogba-fichaje-barca-barsa_54287328662.html

I think Torres will start against Newcastle, because Drogba will be the big man for Saturday. Of course, we must win this game, but however the 3 points wont get us in top 4. Unfortunately we are still depending on the results of Arsenal and Tottenham (and their games look easy..)
-
I fear Suarez after his last performance.
-
Top 4 is not in our hands ... we must first beat Newcastle and Liverpool, and then rely on Arsenal or Tottenham dropping points
-
Loved the celebration by Terry!
-
Well Abramovich looks happy

FERNANDO TORRES, HE SCORES WHEN HE WANTS!!
-
Good news! His dribble is impressive. Welcome to Chelsea, Marko!
-
We have Torres! Apart, I really can't see him leaving Napoles. He thinks it was his destiny to play in this team and it was God who decided he should play there. However, Cavani really is one hell of a striker but I personally prefer Llorente or Soldado.
-
I'm positive even though I have in mind our last 3 or 4 matches. Would love to see Torres scoring, after all the stupid comments made by the scousers about him.
-
I still remember one run he made down the right wing in one of his cameos (against Nowrwich maybe) ... 50 metres of pure power and speed, really impressed me then

Let's not judge the referee before the game. He'll be under huge pressure and maybe some decisions will go in our way. I'm sure he will have in mind what happened in 2009. I hope the boys watched El Clasico, because I simply enjoyed watching Barca being so powerless. They had tested Casillas just 3 times (!!!) and in the same time they showed how vulnerable they are to set-pieces and counters. Puyol had no chance against Cristiano, but I fear the return of Pique, in my opinion one of the best defenders nowadays. (always reminds me of Luiz, don't know why) Other concern are the yellow cards, which seem like granted.
-
I really doubt that he'll leave Bilbao after the fantstic season they're having. Watching Barcelona-Athetic was absolutely amazing, so much more interesting than El Clasico in football terms. Back to LLorente. Fantastic forward. He's unbeatable in the air, but also has good speed and significant ground skills. This means he can play as well as a targetman as a striker.

lol 8 changes. I hope we can take 3 points from the Emirates with this team.
-
He should try to score goals instead of always play for the team. Being selfish to a certain degree is essential for the success of any striker. Fernando is no exception. I say encourage him to take long shots and to finish with one touch in the box. Also, his teammates in attack should not make desperate faces when he goes for goal individually, but should follow his attitude: when someone tries, encourage him and make some sign of approval.

Madrid were defeated because of Ronaldo's stolen boots. He played in an unworn pair so he wasn't able to perform at his best, which led to a struggling Real Madrid side That's just so obvious...
-
Well that's two weeks, but he'll be ready for the CL final
-
Any thoughts on that? Far too cocky for me But a red card? Oh boy. If this lad comes to Europe, especially the Premier League, he wont be able to stay on his feet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsRh4lY6UyM

Puyol, Mascherano, and Cuenca are YC apart from missing the second leg for Barca. For us, Ivanovic, Rami and Mikel should be prudent ...
-
And beating Barca by 3-0 is not optimism?
-
I'll be pretty happy with a goalless draw, of course 1 or 2 - 0 gives us a huge advantage, but I'm sure we can damage them at the Camp Nou where they'll be desperate to score
-
Do you guys consider a 0-0 draw at home to be a good result for us? I believe we should first think about our defense and play on the counter. It's crucial to keep a clean sheet in the first leg and I assume the Catalans will have 60%+ possession, which really limits our goal-scoring opportunities to a couple of fast counters, some corners and maybe a spark of brilliance by our forwards. So, a 0-0 draw is highly possible, I think.

Well one thing for sure: Kalou's inability to head the ball in front of goal is far more concerning to me than Mata's left foot dependence...
