Everton is impossible imo, after Stones and Lukaku fiasco we wont deal with them for a while IMO. Besides I dont understand why we make such shitty loans so often when players dont even play for months. Just take a look at Sanches in Swansea, he is garbage but still plays. Probably because that was part of the loan deal. We must make such demands too when we loan out our players.

City is off the reach, but United? We are 3 (hopefuly we win tomorrow) points behind them. Its not something we cant catch. Our target must and have to be 2nd place. If we keep up with them in december, then it will be january window. Althrough I dont believe we will make any big moves, its still opportunity to get more depth. Should be more than enought to finish ahead of United who are already beatable. Winning against swansea and nufc will be very important, united plays arsenal away and city at home City tho...

Evra too

I think it would be decent try. Not super expensive, quite young and I follow Red star and Partizan quite alot, I realy like how he plays. Rather take risk with him than someone like Benteke who would cost fortune for what he can offer. Its question if he can make transition to PL, but for now he is scoring for fun. Like around 40 goals in 2017. However he missed two sitters vs arsenal, so who knows.. I also just realized it was Conte who brought him to Juve few years ago, I can see why we are interested.

Mate, Kondogbia was dogshit for two years and he is ripping laliga apart this season. Maybe its a fluke, but what realy matters from then on, is mentality. And Bakayoko is certainly a lad with good mentality, thats why I think he can become very good. Sure he wont be doing rabonas and 60m passes, but he can become very allround midfield powerhouse. Another example, Dembele was on exit doors after rather shit games for spurs, but Pochettino made him extra good player. If people werent as short sighted... Bakayoko doesnt have that excelent ball control, but he has the size, dynamics, tackling and very good dribbling. Doesnt show it in chelsea yet, but its early stages. Put all that together with some improvement and you get one hell of a midfielder.
-
Yeah I totaly get when some are mad in heated moments after or during match. Im fumming with Bakayoko too when he fucks a simple pass. But thats not a valid reason to question why we bought him and state he will never be good. There is plenty of time for him to prove his worth. But when you read certain posts continuously out of nowhere and then same posters completely turning their view few months later, its just sad. I dont understand how some fans are still one sided, after seeing so many players proving us wrong. I have been like that when I was younger few years ago, but much like people do, you grow up and with years of experience in football, you can make a decent objective opinion on players. Its not hard to see Matic obviously had quality, but fans here called for his head. Or Eden. Or Kdb. Or Salah. These players keep proving our fanbase how we dont value what we have. How they should be sold once they caught bad form. Now we have good young midfielder in Bakayoko and he deserves a chance. Fans want us to develop young players and give them chance but at same time they lack patience and trust. Same is with Loftus Cheek. People write him off already and how we need new midfielders. Give him the time. Lets see. If he gets sold, he gets sold. But until then, we are there to support him and other players.
-
Haha I guess it is. Football makes me calm too (unless chelsea plays ) Maybe it will end up as good match, never know.
-
Sadly Monaco are a shadow of last season. And Psg got better. Would be realy interesting match otherwise.
-
I just hope that people who are trashing him like they thrashed Eden two seasons ago wont support him once he gets good, much like same people ass lick Eden today after screaming on that thread every day to sell him until he loses value. Such "fans" are not needed. I know people including myself are prone for mistakes and misjudgement, plus the temporary anger after matches, but hell some should learn a thing or two by now. Its not all black and white. Go to sleep and deeply think about certain stuff before posting opinions on here. Every player deserves criticism from time to time. But criticism in posts like he is garbage shouldnt ever play, he should be sold, he is a lazy twat etc...thats all rather disrespect and lack of loyalty and trust in our players. Few who write such posts actualy admit mistake later on, but most just turn the side once the player becomes good and they instantly bandwagon and become their biggest fan as if they always were. And when player hits bad form, they blame him again for everything bad in this world. At least stand by your opinions then. Or admit mistake. But posting certain players should basicaly fuck off because they are shit and the next minute praising how great they are, thats some hypocrite shit right there. Such fans should simply remove themselves or at least not write posts until their head is cool if they are too angry and uncapable of reasonable thinking after games. It makes the forum toxic for me and I believe for many fans around here. But thankfuly the players are often proving our negative fanbase wrong and make them look like proper fools.

He is on several levels ahead of others... For example that action with Zappacosta when he passed to him and was perfectly waiting in the box for Zappa to pass to him back, but that dude tried to cross which resulted in block. Im sure its frustrating for him sometimes, hopefuly we buy quality player next to him and hopefuly he stays.
-
Maybe the problem isnt in player but the club as a whole. Bakayoko was better in ligue 1 and not just because it was easier league. He was also better in CL. His passing needed work, but he dribbled much more and his defensive output was also much better. Why? The confidence, the idea. Some players at chelsea simply dont recieve that for whatever reason. In another club he will be a star. Chelsea has absolutely zero clue on how develop a younger player unless he is already top class. Salah, Kdb, Lukaku, Bakayoko might soon follow that. Tbh I wouldnt be surprised we sell him once and that to a rival and see him perform brilliantly. Not saying he has same ceiling as those three, but certainly he is miles better than what he is showing here.
-
Yup Conte could always throw Eden, Pedro, Willian, Morata and Cesc in starting eleven to play fancy football. But we would then have no bench and defense. And the moaners would start moaning about lack of tactical awarness by Conte. The negative posts in thread are pathetic. First half we were equal, second not so until after we conceded. We created quite a few chances but we couldnt finish. And thats a big big problem, but not on Conte. Its not his fault Morata or Drinkwater lack confidence 1v1. Its not his fault we have shit bench either. Cesc comments tho. Every fucking time people complain why he plays against pressing sides because we get skinned as result. Today when he was benched for Drinkwater for that same reason, people cry why he didnt play and call for Conte head. Unbelievable. And for the record, all fans calling Conte out for his defending, and how Pep is playing super footy, if Pep was here he would buy 10 attackers by now. But with current team we have, he would done fuck all. So stop comparing those two. City is splashing the cash left and right and all we do is selling good players with no backup clauses and then we are forced to buy their replacements, which results in millions spend, very little squad improvement and no depth on bench. Conte makes allright work, but the fact he cant rely on 40m Bakayoko, 60m Morata, 25m Zappacosta etc while having no quality backup options on bench is simply not his problem. For bigger picture look up to the board, there are Matic, Mata and Lukaku in united, Sturridge, Salah in Pool, De Bruyne in city, Cech in Arsenal...they are doing great work in selling player for profit instead of creating good depth.
-
That dude at liverpool, Salah or something would fit very nicely on our right side.... Good game, very even, but pool still has Mane and Firmino on bench, not sure whats our joker in second half. Hope we dont catch fatigue from midweek.
-
Even before 5th round, why was everyone cutting Napoli off already? There was only 10000 of 60000 people at san paolo, and they call themselves loyal napoli fans? Yes 6 points was a big big task, but they played shakhtar at home (and won), and they play feyenoord next, while shakhtar plays vs city in england. IMO napoli still has very big chance to finish 2nd. Hell even Atletico can still do it if they beat us, Roma are big bottlers and wouldnt surprise me if they dont win against qarabag.
-
I realy look forward to this game, it could be very entertaining. I think Morata, Eden, Mane, Salah will put up a good show. Realy cant predict, could go either way, though if I have to I guess Pool will press us heavily and we can do them on counter if things line up well for us in attack. Their defense is awful, we should press their back line because they will certainly break, but I think Conte will, unfortunely, do exactly opposite, sit back, let their defence get comfortable and they will press us out of the game through middle. Hopefuly it works for us on counters.
-
If he was able to finish off those chances in front of goal with feet, he would be at around 15-20 goals in all comps by now. He is quite shocking in 1v1 with feet, the fact he still scored so many goals hides that, but has to improve massively. Games for now have been quite simple, since there was always next time to improve, but knockout stages will have two games and Morata will simply get that one chance and he needs to score or we will be in trouble. Though that can be solved eventualy if we bring another poacher and play 2 upfront in future seasons if it doesnt work out with Morata as lone striker. Linkup and headers are amazing though, fantastic when it comes to that.
-
If we sell Tibo, there is Oblak.
-
Barry kicked Eden, ref did nothing, Eden lying in the ground, WBA players still playing, not giving ball away to pause the game and WBA fans whistle Eden for ''faking'' injury. Couple minutes later his shot ends up with Morata scoring the goal. Man, karma at its finest.
-
In an interview recently he said he hangs alot with Luiz and Willian, who helped him accomodate to england life. Pretty sure he have very decent chances if we ever decited to bid for him.
-
Mertens too old IMO, we need somone in the age around Eden and Morata to play together for couple years (hopefuly Eden stays). Bale is injured too much and too big risk considering his wages and fee Real would demand. I cant say about Draxler, he is sometimes good sometimes poor, but I dont watch him every week to judge. Sanchez IMO should be another pass. Frustrating player quite often and his tantrums at Arsenal, despite the team playing like shit, he is a professional and acts like a little girl everytime they are losingy a personality I wouldnt have here. We should go all in for either Dybala or Fekir, or maybe Lemar IMO.

Also you can say Sweden eliminated Italy in typical good ol' park the bus italian style. Irony.
-
Italy sweden was so weird...three clear handballs no penalty, Olsen punching the ball back in play instead of cathching it when he had all the time and space, and Thelin literaly passing the ball towards Buffon instead of taking the shot... On another day you could say it was match fixed to end with no goals... Feel sorry for Italy though, they were shit, but its still italy and they often spark the tournaments. Will be big loss not to see them in world cup. Kudos to Sweden, they fought well.

BlueLyon replied to Tobey Gibson's topic in Midfielders
I must say some fans are so weird. Back then when RLC did nothing yet, everyone hyped him in the sky, now that he is actualy having very good season, majority says he aint good enough for us and we need to buy buy buy new midfielders. Hell, so many hypocrites, crying after De Bruyne and others we sold, blaming Mou and board for this, but if given chance now to develop RLC into very good player, most of those same fans would just buy top midfielder and loan RLC out again. Funny world isnt it. If RLC has whole season as good as past couple months, I think he deserves a chance in first team before we buy more midfielders, even if it hinders our success next season, its long term project, we could have english player in first 11 for maybe next 10 years. By no meaning he is good enough already, but he should be given playtime in this team to further develop under Conte instead of splashing big money on top midfielders who will limit his chances. -
Chill, he is just tired of Martinez bullshit and wants to see Zidane as belgium coach together with Henry On serious note, I dont like these comments at all. Why he still didnt sign new contract? And Tibo? What is the board doing...

You cant provide proof black on white regarding Martial lazyness. But as long you watch the United games, you will see what Im talking about. There is no doubt Martial is extremely talented, I never said he isnt. His ball control is brilliant. But the reason he isnt playing ahead of Rashford is because Rashfors puts in a shift. Rash is prepared to press and track down, run entire game. Martial needs to develop better tactical understanding and workrate to suceed in PL. If he does that, he can be top 3 players in league. This is where he has to improve. But until then, I understand why Mou plays Rashford ahead of Martial as first choice and most of united fans see that aswell. The base in premier league is good tactical understanding and willingness to work hard. Then on top of that comes talent. But every talent from Hazard to Silva to Sanchez knows tactical requirements and the work shift required. Rashford knows it too. Martial as of now doesnt.
