  1. Looks realy happy Im realy looking forward to this, he is hardworking player, probably living his dream right now and under Conte, we can all benefit. Welcome Zappa
  2. Tbh all in all this window wasnt bad at all, except for the fact we have realy short bench. But thats more because we sold and loaned too many players, not bought too few. However one thing, I was realy realy expecting a marquee signing. One. Doesnt have to be Hazard equivalent. Could be top striker, midfielder, wingback or even defender. Last year we had Hazard and Costa who truly made difference. Costa and his personality aside, he was world class on his day and real pain in the ass for opponents with great impact. I realy expected we will replace him with some undisputed quality. Our squad was already reliant on two players last season, despite all the team work, no one can deny it was Eden and Costa who provided extra quality. And most of us agreed even thats not enough, that we need one more. However now we are actualy down to just one; Hazard. Which is painful. Yes we can win without him and sometimes even play realy well (like vs Everton), but come on, everyone knows our level of play was on entire different scale when we had inform Eden and Costa last season between august-january. We are back to last season, hoping everything will click and everyone will have massive season, including Morata, Bakayoko, Zappacosta etc. We have advantage though in terms of hardwork, experience and coach that understands how to play to win. But this will only get us so far. Once manchesters pile up with more and more quality, they will outplay us. Maybe not this year but eventualy the gap will widen. Otherwise, a very decent window still.
  3. I was somehow hoping we will at least buy someone quality to at least "try" to hide the weak areas in the team, ie Mahrez. That way we would have more depth in attack which would at least partly compensate fot lack of depth in midfield and wings. As goes for Zappacosta, not bad buy IMO. Tbh him or Ox, I think it will turn out even better for us, apart from the fact Ox is english. About Llorente, I was sure he is coming. It makes too much sense to have experienced target man and Eden even recommended Bats to find new club.
  4. We signed the wrong Kylian lol
  5. So Mahrez was just bullshit and we loaned out Boga without bringing anyone in. Expected.
  6. How will Mbappe and Neymar develop tho? Ligue 1 is not the on par with PL or LaLiga and thats crucial if you want to prove yourself in best leagues in the world. I like that we have more diversity and not always barca, real, barca, real...but for their personal achievements, that has to be step down compared to best spanish or english clubs.
  7. Tbh I hope Coutinho stays in Pool. I want premier league as strong as possible. Fuck the laliga, they already took Bale (when he was fantastic), Suarez and Modric in past few years ...
  8. Am I the only one who finds it funny there are so many Belotti experts on this forum, yet almost no one knows Zappacosta, his team mate in Torino?
  9. Terrible right, because we all want our rivals to strenghten even further
  10. Hmm Zappacosta is actualy very good option considering we are in fucked situation. Very decent signing.
  11. Loan Ramires and Oscar from China. Ramires to play RWB and Oscar backup CM.
  12. I have a crappy feeling Mahrez will end up in united. They were looking for Perisic whole summer, but failed to get him or anyone else.
  13. I would now say I fully expect Mahrez to join us, but knowing our board they wont get anyone for that position.
  14. @Belgiannutt Yup and agree Im not blaming them for not landing Ox per se, but rather dealing with whole situation. First of all we should get new LWB and RWB weeks ago to get them match fit and learn Conte phylosophy. Secondly if there were complications with primary target(s) there should be one that we would be positive we will make the deal; example throw big chunk of money for Pereira or negotiate with Aurier. However the board waited for Ox who turned us down, meanwhile Aurier will join spurs and we are in terrible position. Handling Ox case, I dont realy blame the board, he refused us nothing we can do. Handling the aquisiton of new RWB through the summer as a whole, thats where the board fucked up massively. From targets to negotiations to timing...if we were successfull we would already have new RWB. Same goes for LWB. Its simple.
  15. Sorry, but is it necessary he has to refuse the new contract first or ? We couldnt bid for him before? How did we buy Morata or Bakayoko then? They didnt turn down new contracts before we bid for them? As far I know tapping up means talking with player before talking with club. Official bid to the club for xx player can come any time. But officialy player is registered in new club during transfer windows.
  16. Well we had whole summer to get the job done. There were and still are multiple quality players for both left and right flank. Zero excuse we didnt buy competition for Moses and Alonso yet. If we buy someone good on final day and it works out, I will eat my humble pie, but if not, the board realy has no credit left if you ask me. Heading into 50-60 games season with this small squad is not acceptable. There is no excuse out there to explain it. Morata, Baka, Rudiger all good buys must say, but here I point on positons we didnt strenghten and we definately should. Its like they are taking a piss with all those sales and loans, and not bringing replacements in. Whole summer links left and right, for Sandro, for Lukaku, for Ox,...and I was defending the board we will eventualy sign Sandro and Lukaku probably wasnt even in our plans, but seeing its last day and transfers have not been made yet, more so we are failing to land even more players, thats big big failure. Dont get me wrong, Im happy we got Morata in the end, but principle was we were in for Lukaku, Sandro and failed to land them. Who knows who else we wanted and didnt get (Walker, Sanchez,...)
  17. And Suarez bit 3 people and Terry fucked his best friends wife, and Marcos Alonso killed a friend in car accident, while drunk driving, then there is Cantona,... Who cares if they show their quality on the pitch? Most probably regrets what they did. I dont like it or dont agree its ok, but hell if they know how to play football and win games, its enough. Teams consist of so called "bad boys". Its been that way forever.
  18. Well the window is open for two months now. If he was high on our list, we should bid for him month ago. If arsenal rejected us, move to next target. If Ox rejected us, move to next target. No need to tapping him. We would see exactly what is going on. But the idea to try landing a player who clearly prefers to play CM (meaning high chance of refusing us) two days before deadline without any quality backup plan, thats idiotic. Im not even mad at Ox. He refused us, it happens. He wants to play midfield. But I blame our board for being naive and simply said fucked up our situation very nice. Tomorrow is last day and we still have one proper wingback on each side while going into 4 competitons. In the end Ox has nothing to do with this, the board are just incompetent to get shit done. Unless we sign Aurier or someone similar tomorrow, it will be panic buys over again. Decent quality, overpaid, but come next season and long term, not good enough players. And with few exceptions, thats going on more or less every year for a while now.
  19. If he can repeat last season, he would be brilliant signing. But once again it all depends if Swansea get replacement...
  20. It has been dragging whole summer that he wants to leave. Also that he prefers to play midfield. Clear as day, there were concerns here two months ago that he might refuse to join us because he wants to be midfielder and not RWB. If Talkchelsea had sense of whats going on, I dont understand why chelsea board didnt check these things at least a month ago. We were interested in him long before he refused new contract. Yes we can do nothing when player doesnt want to join us, but we can do alot in how and when we handle transfers If we enquired about his situation and his demands earlier, it would give us enough time to find new target by now. But now we are fucked, one day to go, it will be panic once again.
  21. The real question is why the fuck were we in for Ox for so long and so late to play our RWB when he doesnt even want to play that position. Such a rubbish decision by the board, unbelievable.
  22. In a way if we do indeed end up with someone like Aurier, it might be better for us. Honestly, apart from being English, there were/are at least 10 players I would rather have. And for Ox being a CM aswell, well thats nice, but we should target proper CM anyway, so... Sometimes things happen for a reason, just look at Stones case, Im glad we never signed him. If we had full squad, the price was fair and Ox would desperately want to join us, then I would not be against this deal at all. He is after all very decent and versatile player. But if he wants to leave arsenal just to get more money and play CM, arsenal wanting 35m million for him and in the end even with Ox, Im not entirely sure our right side would be suddenly much better than with Moses,...meh it all seems forced. And finaly, players should be commited. I get it Ox was pissed in arsenal against pool, but lol thats a shitty way of playing. He is still under contract and gets paid. So that means everytime he would have bad day here, he would just not give a shit in games? Gtfo with such attitude. We have enough of players who sometimes simply turn off in games.
  23. Im just curious but wasnt Iborra from Sevilla technicaly a replacement for Drinkwater? Surely they would play Iborra and Ndidi as first options?
  24. If they get VVD and proper Coutinho replacement like Lemar plus Keita next year, I would consider them along us (hopefuly) and United as the most serious competition next few years.
  25. Aurier, Perreira, heck even Sidibe or Lemar could be an option. We have the money in the end. If we fail to get Ox it wouldnt be a disaster. If we fail to buy quality RWB (or someone who can play that role) it certainly will be a disaster. Summing up past few transfer windows, cant help but think we lost alot of attracting power as a club. Not just among foreign quality players, but also among english. We have been quite successful still, so we cant blame the results. However the board and their policy is certainly getting in the wrong way and that is as good as confirmed if we dont get some proper competition signings in next two days.
