No man will ever understand women as good as women do and vice versa. As primitive as it sounds, its natural football was always mans sport. Woman can handle business perfectly, I fully agree. Everything resolving around running business, money,..etc. But when it comes to football as to what it is, men will understand it better. And it has nothing to do with feminism, I think women are at least as capable in nearly every thing as men. But football is phyical and tactical, which naturaly fits men more, thats why best players are male, best managers are male, best scouts are male and best sporting directors are male. Choosing between average dude like me or you, Marina eats us for dinner in football business. But against very best sporting directors out there? Nope.

Im not sure whats the recovery time for his injury, but he was already training, seen on pics from yesterday. Surely if he is already training with first team, he wont be match unfit for 4 more months?
-
Basicaly means on the long term either he will adopt or he will not succeed. Hopefuly he will be our striker for at least next 5 years, so we can focus on other areas.
-
Well not much of chance, but who knows maybe he will be back playing after 2-3 months...like Yaya at city last year.
-
Yup against Malta and still 0:0...wow England must be realy poor not to score against them in whole half.
-
I must admit, I have absolutely nothing against Emenalo if he did his job well, but as goes for Marina...well I will always think females are less suited for football, no matter how intelligent or educated. Its in dudes nature to understand football more and in the end when footballers we want talk to our representatives, Im sure they give alot more interest and respect to someone who is excellent in football business ala Peter Kenyon than someone like Marina. Similar is with Ac Milan, back then in 2011 when Barbara Berlusconi was appointed, it went all down for them until this year.

The players are certainly still friends, so there would be no problem. The question is if Conte is ready to forgive and forget problems with Costa. Personaly, I think having him in our team could end up us great addition to win Pl again.
-
Nope he was mentioned at least a month ago, but I cant find the article anymore, because theres too many articles from yesterday.
-
As long he doesnt injure himself, these games are actualy good for his fitness and getting used to the match tempo again. Seems he wasnt rushed back either, so its good, I was afraid he will not recover properly, but thankfuly he did. If he survives next match, it will be good for us, he wont need as many games to get back in form in PL.

Welcome Danny. I think he is going to be useful additon and depth option to our squad, nevermind being english. However his quality, it says alot Leicester was looking for improvement over him for two years now in Silva. He is decent player, nothing more. I dont expect him to do anything beside basic, but he is reliable and used to PL, so he will hold his ground hopefuly. Still kudos for choosing us and accepting side role. But 35m pounds for a player thats neither already great nor has potential, IMO way too much. Yes english and all, but keep in mind City bought Delph for 8m two years ago for basicaly same reasons. Transfer makes sense, Danny is alright player, but that fee...plain awful. We put restrictions on basicaly every transfer these past few years, yet we have no problem forking 35m on Drinkwater.

Looks realy happy Im realy looking forward to this, he is hardworking player, probably living his dream right now and under Conte, we can all benefit. Welcome Zappa

Tbh all in all this window wasnt bad at all, except for the fact we have realy short bench. But thats more because we sold and loaned too many players, not bought too few. However one thing, I was realy realy expecting a marquee signing. One. Doesnt have to be Hazard equivalent. Could be top striker, midfielder, wingback or even defender. Last year we had Hazard and Costa who truly made difference. Costa and his personality aside, he was world class on his day and real pain in the ass for opponents with great impact. I realy expected we will replace him with some undisputed quality. Our squad was already reliant on two players last season, despite all the team work, no one can deny it was Eden and Costa who provided extra quality. And most of us agreed even thats not enough, that we need one more. However now we are actualy down to just one; Hazard. Which is painful. Yes we can win without him and sometimes even play realy well (like vs Everton), but come on, everyone knows our level of play was on entire different scale when we had inform Eden and Costa last season between august-january. We are back to last season, hoping everything will click and everyone will have massive season, including Morata, Bakayoko, Zappacosta etc. We have advantage though in terms of hardwork, experience and coach that understands how to play to win. But this will only get us so far. Once manchesters pile up with more and more quality, they will outplay us. Maybe not this year but eventualy the gap will widen. Otherwise, a very decent window still.

I was somehow hoping we will at least buy someone quality to at least "try" to hide the weak areas in the team, ie Mahrez. That way we would have more depth in attack which would at least partly compensate fot lack of depth in midfield and wings. As goes for Zappacosta, not bad buy IMO. Tbh him or Ox, I think it will turn out even better for us, apart from the fact Ox is english. About Llorente, I was sure he is coming. It makes too much sense to have experienced target man and Eden even recommended Bats to find new club.
-
We signed the wrong Kylian lol
-
So Mahrez was just bullshit and we loaned out Boga without bringing anyone in. Expected.
-
How will Mbappe and Neymar develop tho? Ligue 1 is not the on par with PL or LaLiga and thats crucial if you want to prove yourself in best leagues in the world. I like that we have more diversity and not always barca, real, barca, real...but for their personal achievements, that has to be step down compared to best spanish or english clubs.
-
Tbh I hope Coutinho stays in Pool. I want premier league as strong as possible. Fuck the laliga, they already took Bale (when he was fantastic), Suarez and Modric in past few years ...
-
Am I the only one who finds it funny there are so many Belotti experts on this forum, yet almost no one knows Zappacosta, his team mate in Torino?
-
Terrible right, because we all want our rivals to strenghten even further
-
Hmm Zappacosta is actualy very good option considering we are in fucked situation. Very decent signing.
-
Loan Ramires and Oscar from China. Ramires to play RWB and Oscar backup CM.
-
I have a crappy feeling Mahrez will end up in united. They were looking for Perisic whole summer, but failed to get him or anyone else.
-
I would now say I fully expect Mahrez to join us, but knowing our board they wont get anyone for that position.
