To be honest even if he scored 2 own goals, we still should beat Palace 4:2. He didnt cost us the title, our whole team fucked up massively. Hazard, Lamps, Iva, Matic, Oscar, Torres, Schurrle,...they didnt give a shit about winning the game and the title.

Put his cuntish teatrics to side, who is better atm and is available? He is only who wont cost fortune. All Atletico strikers did well when moved to PL (Aguero, Torres,...). Stop dreaming about Cavani, he is too expensive, just moved to PSG, and if we were ever to get him either 70mio+ or Hazard/Oscar in the deal. Not going to happen. Balotelli would be absolutely best option if he had every game like the one vs Fiorentina. Sadly, he is way too inconsistent and frustrating, not to mention he LEFT England to play in Italy. Rooney, Dzeko, Jovetic, Rvp, etc are out of question. As is Suarez. Benzema? Well, he inconsistent as fuck and if we ever get him, it will be no different to what Higuain is doing in Napoli. Overpriced, decently average, but nothing more. There are less known striker/s ala Ciro Immobile or Benteke who is/are IMO worth taking closer look. I only fear Arsenal/Lpool or whoever gets Costa and he starts banging goals for fun, while we overpay for some average striker and stick with him for next 4 years...

But still is more CAM than CM. He has two of Ibora, Cristoforo or Mbia always playing behid him, he is rarely paired with one of them in Pivot. His game might be similar to CM, but if he realy played there, he would never had all those goals and assists. He drives ball from midfeld to opponent goal, but he is also protected by Ibora and Mbia. Here, he would only have Matic as his protection and would have to do different roles. Also, he is completely free-role at Sevilla, Jose will limit his game very likely and maybe he wont excell in that. But lets wait and see. If Kroos/Vidal/Pogba/Gundogan wont be available, Rakitic will be one of few good options. Btw, isnt his release clause close to 40mio? Or did he sign extension with sevilla and lower his release clause (that was his demand; extending contract, but lowering release clause).

If we dont get Shaw, there are Rodriguez and Alex Sandro who have similar ceiling as Shaw (maybe even higher), but are obviously not english and bit older. Rodriguez was better than Alba this year in buli and Sandro was amazing in CL. Whoever of the three we get, we will have world class full back, I want Shaw ahead of other two just because he is english, talent-wise all three can do it here. For biggest CL games, Mou might not trust Shaw next year, while Sandro and Rodriguez are both capable of doing it. Certainly Shaw has lot of interest from many clubs and we shouldnt pay 35/40mio for him IMO. We need striker and CM too. Sandro and Rodriguez would be cheaper, not by much but still.

Well in this case, Costa is still the better striker (for us atleast).

IMO Benzema is nicer guy, Costa is better striker. Choose what you want to lead our line.

Scoring shitload of goals and being consistent is keeping him apart from Messi or Ronaldo. I think dribbling of Hazard is already fantastic and is 3rd best dribbler this season, skills and success wise, but I think he will never be goal scorer ala Ronaldo/Messi. He certainly has potential and 'could' do it, but he isnt natural goalscorer. He is natural dribbler though. His eye for pass is similar to Messi (it amazes me that Messi is as much striker as is great playmaker), Ronaldo is worse than Hazard in distributing ball to players (he is too selfish). Hazard will be 20 goals winger per year, maybe 30 in peak, fantastic dribbler and the one who will be key player in our future trophies. Im happy with that.

Why are people compring him to Messi etc? Hazard is fantastic player and even if he never reaches heights of Messi, as long he plays great and brings us trophies, its fine. He is far from Messi and will never reach it, no one will imo. Messi is unique, as is Hazard. Hazard might become golden ball winner, but as long there are Ronldo and Messi, I dont see him getting one tbh. In the end of the day, when I see Hazard moving past defenders is the beauty of the game and at that moment I dont care if he has 10 golden balls or none; he is amazing player and might just become Chelsea legend one day.
