I will say he is worse in rw because he has certain mr Ivan playing behind him. He has to return in middle of pitch to retrievd the ball and has no support from Iva. Should he have more dynamic full back to play with, he would be equaly good on wing. After all he is never realy a winger, but more wide #10. Difference is that he doesnt have same support on wing as he has it in the middle.

He needs to improve on the ball-passes, crosses, maybe even dribbles (already good though), but he is quite world class in defending, marking. Wonderful player

Im curious what would you prefer more; Luis Suarez (lets just pretend we splash 80mio) and average CM/LB or quality striker, quality CM and quality LB (but none of them world class)? I think we seriously lack a world class player, prefer striker position. ---- Anyway back to reality, there are several people here praising Kovacic. Havent watched him much (maybe game or two last year) is he realy that good? I mean, he probably has potential, but we need starter and could he be the man we need right next to Matic? Is he hard worker? Because I read Mazzari doesnt play him because he wants more reliable (more working and better at defending) midfielders in his team...

Im ultimately pissed about Ramires. He was the kind of player who never gives up, rises when its most important and gives consistancy. He was never inteligent player, but in his defensive work, he was nearly world class. However he completely lost it after january. He isnt young, he hasnt just arrived here, he doesnt need to adapt, because Mou system should suit him great. He has plenty experience including CL. He was played a lot and might lose some energy, but he was rested. Basicaly same situation as Oscar, but Oscar is still young and adapting, while Ramires is one of more experienced players in this team. Realy dissapointed with him recently, last year he was beast. Also, Im starting to doubt in Mou work with players. Oscar and Willian show very little end product and consistancy. Luiz was much better last year. Dont need to talk bout Mata. Torres or Ba? To me, they were better last year (for their level at least). Ashley Cole lost form. So did Ramires. And Cech. Hazard has become player that Mou expects too much IMO. Azpi, Terry, Cahill generaly impressed. Iva is another who hasnt realy stepped up.

Just curious, was he injured all the time since january? Because he didnt play bad this season, at least as good as Iva and Mou had no real reason to bench him. Azpi and Cole would fit much better against small teams, but again if he was injured he obviously couldnt play... Imo Cole is good enough to be backup at least next season, pairing with younger LB (Shaw?) and teaching him few things. But if he isnt in Mou plans, than no point in having him here... I have feeling if he moves to Rm, he will for some reason become first choice, at least in big games. Thats exactly why we might just keep him for another season. Mou made Cole look like a LB who is not able to play 45min anymore, but I feel he could be useful in big games, even next year. Just remember Lpool game this season, Cole still has ability IMO. Azpi should completely focus on RB next season and Cole would be superb backup to the new LB.

Only Torres (and Lamps for being too old) need to be replaced 100%. LB is not as necessary, Iva isnt the proper back, however its not disaster. I hope Hazard puts his shit together, he tries too hard do things on his own.

Why not both Costa and Vela With all the possible sales including Luiz and Lukaku who might leave, we will have more than enough money to get four players in summer (LB, CM, ST and possibly AM)

Financialy it was brilliant deal, but Im sure with bad Oscar form atm, Mata would be useful. We won many games last year because of him, he might add something vs small teams. A killer pass would be enough.

One of biggest mistakes we made was not bringing Cabaye in january. Yes, we bought Matic, but could easily gone after Cabaye too as he was available. Add not bringing Cavani in summer... Great player, in prime, experienced, top FK/corner specialist, hard worker, creative, big friend with Eden. Now, I dont see any realy good CM being available; Gundogan is injured, Kroos wont go and he isnt realy suited for us, Vidal wont leave Juve, Pogba will cost 60mio, Strootman is injured,...

For the title, the only way I see it is this: Sure we must win all the games, including vs Lpool. City must lose to Lpoo and at least get another draw. The ending would be like this: Chelsea 87 City 86 Lpool 86 Not that impossible, but I simply dont see us win all 6 games tbh. There will be some odd draw...
