Despite quite visible trouble we have in the position, we still have three good fullbacks, but they are not making enough attacking support. And only Mou knows how long will he play Iva, where will Azpi actualy play long term and what will happen with Luis. If Mou keeps picking Iva and Azpi, there is no point in getting ANY FB right now. But if Mou will change that, I only hope we go after fast, allround fullback. Another question here is if Mou will look for RB or LB. If RB, there is only one option for me; Clyne. He was outstanding, ticks all boxes, is young, english, quite experienced, international debutant, good in defence and provides attacking options. I would love him here, he is amazing. For LB, I have no preferences than those above I mentioned.

The real test awaits now. He always had gone down in second half of season, hopefuly he keeps the form through whole year.

I hope Ramires is fit for this game. I feel we will need fresh legs. But he is not match fit so it could be problem.

Finaly someone who agrees on that. "unlucky" isnt even excuse and people still say it. Its just so that you feel better instead of saying we were bad/uninspired/unorganised in final third. Luck is what gives edge to winners but is closely connected to those teams with winning mentality, balls, fighting spirit. It doesnt just happen out of nowhere. Maybe one game but not whole tournament. And if we will continue to being "unlucky" no fucking way we will win title. Thankfuly city drew too and its mental advantage for us because they were on winning streak and they drew easy match that was already won.

Oh and people saying we got unlucky. Luck or whatever it is called is what usualy makes difference in winning the title or not winning it. Either that or winning mentality. We lack both atm.

We were brilliant, but still made no shot on goal in second half. This and the fact we already lost 7/8 points in less than a month. Our performance was awesome, but result wasnt. And its all about results. United and City were large parts both shit when they won title, but they got results in the end. We are doing the opposite recently. One slip its OK, this is now third game away after Sunderland and newcastle where we lost points, not to mention both Manchester away games where we were leading. We had brilliant start to season, but now we have lost all advantage. Yes its bit worrying because we still have another month of Swansea, tottenham away and newcastle, city at home and yet city is winning easy even without Aguero and sometimes without Silva, Toure etc. We have to put shit together. Or we can say goodbye to title. Still top of the table and that one point advantage though

Well if we made at least one shot in second half, we might won. But if you dont shoot, you cant score. Simple as that. Grow some balls and at least try to play organised attack. It also should be pen, but if we couldnt score from open play with all those chances, its our fault. City won 3:0 there not even month ago. Arsenal and United won too, we didnt. I think we have good squad, but these games are pointing at our weak mentality and literaly useless wingers on bench who cant do shit. Willian is fucking pissing me off, Ivan and Luis too for their lack of attacking ability. But even with someone like Reus in this team, we wont have organised attack. Its on Mou to fucking fix it. Efficiency and mentality. Jesus boys grow the fuck up and do the work. Spurs away will be another fatigued game and I expect another poor performance. Hazard and Cesc were great though.

Costa is a monster...but I think he isnt as strong as people think. He is strong obviously, just not as much as people make him to be. Drogba was twice physical monster that can be seen in ball hold up, jumping etc... I think Costa would explode and go in fight sooner, but Iva is physicaly stronger. He can cope with any player in PL, while Costa got outmuscled against certain defenders in PL.

UNLESS he is injured, what is the point of having such players in team if Mou doesnt use them? I dont give a shit if he banged Mou daughter infront of him, as long he can benefit to the team, Mou should play him, regardless of whatever the two think of each other.

Im sure Iva would beat the shit out of Costa if those two went 1vs1.

If we manage to remain at least 3 points ahead city till 1st february, I think we will win the league. Just look at this: 28.12. Soton (a) 1.1. Spurs (a) 10.1. Newcastle (h) 17.1. Swansea (a) 20.1. & 27.1. two cup games against Liverpool 31.1. Manchester city (h) Survive this and we will probably ''walk'' the league through rest of season. Rotation will be key because fit Salah/Schurrle/Luis is better than tired Willian/Oscar/Azpi...

Rushing him back from injuries too fast and on top aguero who is prone quite alot will mean that one day he will face realy long injury. What goes around comes around.

Problem is that our players either lack balls or have specific instructions not to shot from distance. Schurre, Eden, Matic proved through their career that they can make long goals but neither did score for us in past year. While Eden and Matic could score,it wasnt their main strength. However Schurrle...who had dozen of long shots for bayer but he doesnt even try. He cut of one of his best abilities completely. And he doesnt develop or try anything to improve. We bought him for his long shot ability and he does fuck all with it.

Ive been watching lille regulary in Eden days. After he joined us, I stopped for awhile but started watching them again back then when we were in need of DM, and initialy I though Mavuba would be good choice, but as soon as I started watching them again, another DM caught my eye; Gueye. He was actualy better than Mavuba and younger. After we signed Matic, I knew we wont go for another DM for some time, but I still watch lille here and there; most notably europa league games or their derbies vs lyon, psg, marseille. I was looking forward how will he cut against everton and he did well at home, but away whole lille team fell apart and he couldnt do much. Only thing he may have problems with is his size. He is realy small, strong though, but pl is another beast. But I think he would surprise a few if he ever joined us. We did realy well with buys from ligue 1, like Drogba, Essien, hazard, even Malouda. Unfortunely there isnt many quality players there anymore, but I always keep an eye for potential players that might be good for us.

He might go to Inter, so we will need to add another winger. Hopefuly this time not someone too young with no end product. I would prefer someone with better ending product and quality crosses over someone speedy and flashy...

This. Ive been saying that for ages. Gueye is the perfect kind of backup for us if we ever go for another DM. And he wouldnt cost fortune I think. He is underrated as hell. Pogba is not DM at all. He is b2b at best but even then he doesnt like to defend much. Its not that he cant, but he doesnt like it. He is more a AM than DM but with giant body.

I would love us to have one player who would combine what Mikel and Ramires do because that would release extra spot. And Song is pretty close to that. But we dont need him atm, however I think eventualy we will need player in mould of Mikel/Ramires and back up for Cesc ala Cabaye. Ramires and Mikel almost never play at same time and neither is starter, though both have certain qualities.

BVB signed Kevin Kampl from Salzburg for 10mio, he plays same position as Reus. Transfer will be completed in january. Who knows, is Reus during in winter break? Maybe they want to get some more money from him than just 25mio, and I can see us being very interested in that case.
