We had 90% possesion. 90% of possesion and couldnt score one past Watford?!? This has to be most inefficient chelsea of past few years. And its certainly concerning.

45k fans to watch his presentation...looool

Someone should get to SB with drone and camera mounted on and stream it ffs... fucking hell its Chelsea and I cant watch their game in 2015...
-
I cant blame them. They dont have proper english legends or whatever, so they are trying to buy other's legends. But I blame Lamps for being such a low life to sell himself for money. And years ago, it would hurt more, but it would be more understandable. Now, at this age, he literaly gives no shit for Chelsea or fans by doing that. He could still get big paycheck in usa, but he went to city with purpose to win title. He is even trying harder than he did last season with us... Its also sending bad picture to the club, because now we cant even say that Lamps was a proper legend for us like Gerrard is for Pool or Scholes for united etc.

Double season squad was extremely efficient in all areas. Cant say the same when you have Willian or Iva who are unquestionable starters and there is not a single player on bench who would step up if needed. Plus Mou dislikes to change anyway. Schurrle or Salah have zero improvement rate this season and how can you count on such players on bench. Even Milner in city puts more creativity in attack than Willian... Rotation will be a must, but we also need to find stable 11 and I honestly think Willian and Iva shoud be benched, but problem is we dont have decent replacements.

Still he should save one of Kane attempts. He went down too slow for top keeper.
-
Im surprised he got so little stick. Through whole season, he was quite protected by our defense, now he had opportunity to realy stand out and when he was realy tested, he reacted poorly. I know he couldnt do much (apart from Kane's first goal), but he should pull rabbit out of the hat. Its what world class keepers do. It looks impossible, but they still do it. Bald prediction, but if we had Cech on goal, we would not concede 5 fucking goals against tottenham. As much Courtois is good keeper, he will need to stand out more to keep our team winning in games like this.

So I was just curious how stable our team actualy is? I know there was lot of talk about our SUPER quality bench, but it looks its quite opposite. We have no proper players on bench to replace starters (and even some starters are doubtfull). If you look at city, even igf they miss Aguero, Silva and Yaya, they can still nick a few wins in PL. Can we do it without Hazard, Costa and Matic/Cesc? Who will step up then? Also our first team is far from stable. We should create team of 11 players who can cope against any team without alternating tactics and formations and players. But we all know that Oscar or Willian or Iva should not play in certain games and that damages our stability. Usualy teams can name 11 unquestionable starters without problem when everyone is fit. But here, even if everyone is fully fit, Mou will still pick different team for different opponent. Im not realy sure, but something in past month has struck me that this just isnt yet title winning team. We have plenty of quality, experienced coach, thought to be best defense in league, yet we have made some realy terrible results over past month. Either are the players too young, not experienced enough, or whatever, but the attitude and mentality as well as Quality on bench should change. We dont need quantity, but quality. Im sure Mou doesnt rotate because he thinks our bench players wont perform good enough. And if we dont rotate, our players get tired and we lose games. Simple as that.

Which Players Do You Regret Chelsea Selling?
BlueLyon replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Just whole lot surprised over the fact that we bought so many young players to be core of our team while our board wants instant success. Those two wont go together. Its changing a bit with signings of Cesc, Matic, Costa etc... -
Call him slippy G but he is at least loyal slippy G. Lampard on the other hand... And I would never imagine that my favourite player of all time Frankie would do such stupid thing...I thought I had more chance to sleep with Megan Fox than seeing Lampard in rival shirt tbh. Though I will eventualy forgive him if we still win title in the end. But if not, well...

But every CB makes mistakes and has off days. And this year we only lost twice, so in most of games, Cahill did his job. Just take a look at Hummels or Ramos who are regarded best CBs in world ATM. But they make some weird team damaging mistakes too. My point is that yesterday we failed as a team. Our midfield was shit. Our defense was shit. Not just Cahill, but Terry, Matic, Cesc, Iva, Courtois too. All of them. In Real Ramos makes mistake, but rest of team bounces back. Yesterday Cahill (or whoever) made mistake and defense and midifield just played even worse. They didnt put shit together and we conceded even more goals. In moments like this we need individuals who will get us victory. But yesterday we floped as a team. Simple as that. No need to point on Cahill alone for those 5 conceded goals after leading by 1. He was bad, but that doesnt mean others can get bad too. But they played bad while they should try to do their best.
-
No. When team that is considered solid in defense concedes 5 goals, something is wrong. Besides, I wonder if teams who won title conceded 5 goals in one game in same season.
-
We should seriously consider Mirallas, Sissoko and Schneiderlin to add to our bench because they can make some difference. Salah, Schurrle, Mikel are good when we are winning, but they dont turn the game around. Having Mirallas or Sissoko on bench would be much better.
-
Priorities during jan/summer should be -Clyne -Reus -Pogba/sissoko -Miralas -Schneiderlin -Hummels/Godin/xyz CB At least two of those on list.
-
By any meaning this isnt end of title race, but its worrying that we lost 8 points in one month, that we conceded 5! vs fucking Tottenham (or anyone by that matter). I am dissapointed with lack of determination from certain players. And Im realy curious what will Mou do in january...is he going to bring anyone or not...defense looks weak as fuck atm.
-
We were disaster in defence. Also note how Rose and Walker run forward to add more men in attack on counter. If we ever saw that from Iva or Azpi, that would be great. We desperately need someone like Clyne. And new CB. And new RW. And another CM next to Matic. No. Actualy we need balls. B A L L S. This was shit and terrible to go from 1:0,to 1:3....against fucking spuds.
-
You just know its gonna be shit day when Lamps scores winner for city...
-
The only realy good thing Vitesse produced in last few years and we miss it. And we literaly own vitesse... GREAT WORK.
-
So...the title says all. What is your favourite moment about Chelsea in 2014? For me, it has to be Ba goal vs PSG. Actualy whole game becuase that was true spirit. True Chelsea AND ALSO HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YA :blue scalf: :dude: :tophat: :woo: Lots of tonight, but as long its safe. Fuck it, drink as much as you can tonight
-
For 25m basicaly ANY bigger team in world can sign him. Its him who will decide where he will go. Only if we offer more in january with realy good paycheck for Reus, we have chance. Summer, I somehow doubt he would join us. I think he generaly prefers spain, but we will see.
-
While that is true, we simply are not club who gives players many chances. Therefore even if we get him for 10m and he doesnt perform well enough, it will be wasted buy. I much prefer one quality player over 5 cheaper ones. But obv., in january Sissoko for 10m (or whatever the price) would add something different to our team for sure. Only question is if we need changes right now, or wait for better options in summer. Just pointing out, players like Schneiderlin, Sissoko or Mirallas would improve our bench big time, but Im not sure if they are starters. If we are looking for Ramires replacement, then Sissoko is fine. But if we are looking for someone to play next to Matic, its another thing. While Sissoko is good (bit inconsistent and gets lot of cards), he was never realy tested in big teams and who knows, maybe he explodes here or we will need to buy again in summer. Obv if we buy him, atm Im not sure if we are even linked with him.,..
-
Playing for newcastle or chelsea isnt the same thing though. He would be good bench option, but starting 11 is another thing. He isnt regular starter for france either.
-
Gaya is one for future for sure, but I have my reservations how he would suit in our system.
-
You realy changed opinion on this guy Not just how you look at him then and now, but also his history. Before he was officialy ours, you said that he isnt good enough to play here, that he dipps in form, that he isnt big game player etc. Now you say that all that was because he was playing in wrong system. Oh them girls --- I disliked him too before as a person, not realy as player (I was realy hoping we will buy him before he joined barca). And now I like him as person too. But thing is, let wait before making too big opinions on specific players. I have my reservations on him, first I want him to play at least full season here, see what we achieve and what role he plays in it. Then I will wank on him etc. He is in good form, but to say he is best transfer ever is funny IMO. Atm I rate Drogba, Lamps etc much better transfers for sheer fact of their influence in us winning stuff. ATM Cesc won nothing with us yet and I will start with this jumping on bandwagon then. I know if someone performs fantastic, your expectations grow in sky. And the bigger expectations, the bigger dissapointment. So lets just wait how he does in longer run first.
