I think Mahrez still has to convince that he is top material. He is good, but so far one great season doesnt mean he is a top top player. If there are other options beside Mahrez, I would exploit them even if paying twice more money.. People say Leicester is poor team, but for that matter so is West Ham and Payet is doing great there even this season. Mahrez on other hand, he had few good games, but is far cry from last season form.

But we already have creator in Eden. And we need someone who is natural scorer besides Costa. For all the goals Eden scores, IMO he will never be regular scorer. His sheer brilliance gets him in scoring chances and he racks up those goals, but to me he was never someone who could be relied to score winning goal. Certainly can make a difference by decisive dribble, pass or even shot, but he aint clinical finisher like Bale, Neymar, Robben, Muller or Alexis. He is the closest to what Ribery was.

Second half we were awfuly complacent. Lacked concentration and lot of missed passes and bad decisions. Or we just decided to play in second gear to keep energy for next match. But it could cost us tonight. Our finishing is still very poor, notably Willian, I dunno why he keeps passing to goalkeeper instead of taking a shot on either side. Thanfuly we were not punished because Tibo made that fantastic save.

I would be cautious about two such short midfielders, but then again if we play with three man defence with Luiz and Cahill/Zouma or someone like Van Dijk, I dont see problem. Libero could alway move further to win aerial duels... And since we play from the back, not just hoof the ball, its great to have ball playing mids. However at current form both Matic and Kante should stay in 11, if we had Verratti it would be someone else going to bench IMO.

He made the point tho. I remember Willian run like mad when he came here. It was 88 min and you could see him sprint around and chase the ball like crazy. Nowdays he just joggs around. The same was against spurs. On his day, like City he can be brilliant, but he is inconsistent in attack. So when comes to defending, he was always hardworker, but not anymore.
