Im surprised we arent intersted in Payet. Far from impossible signing, fair price, normal wages, he wants to move and above all he is realy realy good player. Payet and Van Dijk would be no brainers if we want to win the league, sure there are Sanchez and others, but chances we land them are unlikely.

Yeah its all apples and oranges, but then again I one could assume James is going downhill too. He went from WC hero and first very good season at RM to bench warmer who cant get ahead Vazquez or Asensio. Its kinda sad because he has talent, but Zidane seems to know what hes doing and if he values James so little...I have feeling if he was that good, he would utilise him by now. Perhaps James will shine again or his peak was WC 2014 and will do a Robinho if he comes to PL.

Ozil tonight is example I was saying why not to buy barca/real rejects. Sure some end up good like Yaya or Makelele (because neither club appreciated their less fancy style of play), but with these attacking players, they simply aint good enough. They might play well against small sides but they wont bring you CL thats why Real and Barca sell them. Rather buy up and coming ligue 1 players who can further improve like Didi, Azpi, Essien, Eden... Same with James, I hope we dont buy him.

If anyone interested, Monaco plays Lyon tonight and it could be good game. Monaco plays some sexy football atm and Lyon wont park the bus either, so we could see exciting match. Also some great talents in both squads.

He might be good against park the bus teams, but I rather see that we buy quick winger who can score on regular basis. Not to mention James work rate is shit. Id pick Berardi, Lemar, Payet or wait till summer and try Dybala.

Monaco has some brilliant young players. Bakayoko, Sidibe, Silva, Fabinho and Lemar. If we sell Oscar, I would love Lemar as his replacement. Great young player and probably wouldnt cost fortune.

He gets involved in our play alot. Despite his lack of speed (yeah he is the weak link in that aspect), he is very important in our setups for attack, because he is quite intelligent. Its real shame he aint faster because thats crucial for the position, otherwise he is definately a very special player. Always 100 concentration, knows how to move and when to pass or cross, when to keep the ball.

Tbh he had his period when every free kick ended up in goal, but it soon stopped. Otherway he was very consistent and hardworking individual. That said he scored 5 goals in PL and 5 in CL. He was indeed very good in CL, but in PL, last season was nothing special. We were so poor, he stood out, but even in his best season he didnt get into double figures or saved our asses like Eden does often (or if you want Payet who plays in poor team). Willian was never shit or poor, but his attacking record is awful compared to top wingers. That said, I never say he is shit, just nothing special. A hardworking winger who lacks finish. He can be realy useful if your team already has two or three "make-it-happen" individuals, but if he is the man to rely, he offers very little. Considering he scored left and right in those few months from free kicks, then nada, it says enough. The problem is that he can score stunner in top corner (was it watford?), but then in next 10 shots he hits, the ball goes straight at GK with no power. Very frustrating. But yes, he had family problems and when criticising him, that should be taken into account. As for the game, come on Chels!

Oh I see I thought we had Adidas only until 2018 for some reason. But I remember now we signed 10 year deal back in 2013. That strikes me why did we sign for 15 years with Nike tho? Its clear that in 5-10 years, 60m per year will become "small" amount and then we will need to do same we did with adidas this year. Right now we have brilliant deal, but Barca signed for 100m p.y., while Madrid, Bayern, etc will soon follow I think.

Why did we cut the deal with adidas this year and not wait for end of contract? If Nike is giving us 60m per year, but we will have to pay adidas compensation of 40m, this means we would only get 20m actual income of that Nike deal in first year (under adidas we got 30m per year). Unless the expenses for adidas compensation are seperated and therefore, not connected to new nike deal.

Lol he is actualy more than capable of splitting defences with pass. Thing is that Psg plays certain way, trying to control the game, play slow tempo and they are not as direct as we are. And he is in bit worse form this season. His style differs alot between french and european games. In ligue 1, he is more of playmaker, slower tempo, while in europe he likes to make quick pass to create chance. He needs to learn about tactics, but then again he is 24, he will hit prime around age 28/30 IMO and Conte would be perfect to train him. As goes for his character, its one of his best atributes because he is a warrior and you dont see that in fancy midfielders today.

When people were saying he could be good for us back in summer haha That said, seeing how Conte coaches, he would probably turn Marin into German Messi.

Depay is as of this moment one of worst "talents" I have seen. Thinks he is Ronaldo only to fuck up every attack. He can still redeem himself when it comes to his football ability, but character wise, he is doing best impersonation of Balotelli.

I doubt we will just let go if player without bringing someone in...and in january doing such business...meh I just hope we dont end up paying odd 30m pounds for some unknown stop gap like that guy from Genoa. 60m would be alot of money and we should rather throw another 10-20m on it to get top player rather than two 30m ones who wont be good enough for first team, yet very expensive. I can see Conte keeping Oscar till summer if parties somehow agree to pay same money in july.

He is out for the rest of the season unfortunely. I liked him as a player when he was at Bvb, but its difficult to have such important player who gets injured so often. Same with Aguero or Kompany. City could have some big problems even when Pep completes his team.
