Actually if I remember correctly,it was Torres to Barcelona in exchange for 3 youth players and some amount.I'll admit that I got tricked and hoped for the deal to happen.

Just remembered that United lost the title to City in the dying seconds in the final game of the season.LOL good times.

Roman needed Rdm to make some major mistakes so that he could sack him and bring in Pep(Roman's primary choice) as soon as the sacking but sadly Pep chose to continue his 1 year vacation.Failing to qualify for the knockout stages was the PERFECT opportunity for Roman to get rid of the manager who got him 2 trophies in a matter of months.Roman perhaps could have given Rdm time till the City game but then there was always the fear of Rdm succeeding later and winning some trophies yet again.This would have made it difficult for Roman to sack him in the future and would have blocked another attempt to lure Pep. After getting rejected by Pep,Roman had very few options.Mind you,Benitez was also considered for the job when AVB got sacked but the fan's protests at that time made the Russian go for Rdm instead.Anyways its clear that Roman wants only Pep and well if Pep decides to manage some other club instead then Benitez might be our full time manager(if he wins us something).Personally,I think Jose should be our PLAN A but god only knows whats going on between the Special one and Roman and where Jose's intentions are(United maybe?)If things don't materialize then we must accept Rafa.He's got us playing well again and is getting the results(irrespective of the opposition).

recalling Josh back would be a great decision as he would get fair amount of chances throughout the season.

Benitez is a smart guy.He's told torres to back track constantly so that he can be more involved in the counter attacks and get more chances.

The way Klopp has dealt with things at Dortmund shows that he is the perfect man for Arsenal and not Chelsea.

He's a good player and all but we don't need him as we have Josh and KDB for the future.

Torres would be perfect for QPR.

The string of poor results was the perfect chance for Roman to get rid of Robbie.Quite honestly,its better than sacking him at the end of the season with a top 3 finish or even with a trophy. Roman never wanted RDM and the delay in appointing him as the first team manager proved that.The Chelsea Legend never really had a future here as a manager as the owner always had eyes for Pep. I personally hope Pep joins some other club and we get The Special One back at the Bridge.

I think Roman is going to wait for Pep to come in summer and then spend big.

The Manchester clubs have stability.Had RDM gotten the assurance some kind of job security,he would have easily implemented our youth in an equal manner as well.The delay in appointing him as the first team manager clearly suggested that Roman doesn't want him so there is no point complaining about the tactics used by Robbie as his fate as Chelsea manager was always predetermined.

I just hope romans son is a smart and patient man otherwise things are just going to get worse.

I dont know if you guys remember but Benitez was going to be appointed as the interm manager when AVB got sacked but the fans protest lead the board to appoint RDM.Kinda sucks to know that Benitez appointment was inevitable.Anyways now that Roman has sacked RDM,I only want Jose back in the summer and well for that to happen,lets all pray that Madrid win the Champions League this season. Fuck Pep and get the Special One back where he deserves to be! KTBFFH!
