  1. If Kevin does leave then for his development,I'd like him to join Athletico Madrid.Mainly because they are Champions League playing side and have a terrific coach.Diego is one of the must underrated coaches and I am sure that he'll turn him to a great player. He won't walk in straight to the starting 11 but we know Athletico spend their transfer funds wisely so I really don't see a problem in the long run.
  2. He won't leave Athletico in January.Things are going quite well for him and his club, they are on level with Barcelona and are in the knock out stages of the Champions league.I see no reason why he would want to leave so soon.
  3. haha yeah. Ibra would have eaten him alive.
  4. Ba was signed to be our second choice striker. The hate he's getting now is just unbelievable considering most of you were had such good things to say about him when he performed above average last season. This season he's been average at most because he has not gotten many chances but yes that is no excuse for his recent performances.I know its frustrating to have 3 inconsistent strikers in the team but there is nothing we can do.Blaming Ba in particular and questioning why we ever bought him won't help.
  5. There are not many options for us in January. It'll be a busy month and its important that we finish our deals early on. The dm situation doesn't look good and so we MUST sign one in january because Jose won't be looking at our young talents for this kind of role and responsibility. So I guess this deal makes sense.
  6. Every big club in the league has lost a few matches against weaker opponents. There is no need to overreact and form sides because at the end of it all, most of us are all here to support the club. I believe Jose is the answer to our long term success and not the problem.Patience is all what I request from you all. Also if you have an opinion about this whole situation then just remember to stick with it and not change it when things eventually get better for us.
  7. Excited to see KDB start! pumped up now!!!!! COME ON KEVIN!
  8. He's a promising young manager but his results this season were just horrific.
  9. "What a draw... I'm the luckiest man in this competition," he wrote on his official Instagram account. "In both games I'll be playing home! See you in few months." FUCKING EXCITED!!
  10. AVB got carried away with his signings. Should have spent big on 2-3 players instead of getting a new squad in the summer. Oh well wonder who'll replace him. Maybe RDM? lol just kidding
  11. Looking more forward to seeing Drogba at the Bridge than this whole fixture in general. going to be an epic reception and I just can not wait.
  12. lol explains why he was a beast yesterday.
  13. He'd more suited for a mid table club like United.
  14. Games like these should be won comfortably and when I say this, my emphasis is more on the quality than the quantity.I have no problem if we beat teams 2-0 or 1-0 but the only thing I expect is a solid consistent flow throughout the whole game. Its quite worrying to see defenders saving us from losing 3 or 2 points just because we weren't sharp the whole match.
  15. Feel bad for AVB.I have nothing against him and always wish him success but I guess signing more than half a dozen players didn't really work out.His vision of attacking football will definitely be implemented successfully at a much bigger club than Spurs.People learn from their mistakes and Andre will ensure he does better next time. At the moment, its a delightful sight to see Spurs team run like a bunch of headless chickens. AVB is destined for better things and should perhaps try his luck elsewhere.
  16. We need players who'll have an instant impact and that means shelling out at least 25m+(otherwise the club would have looked internally itself for solutions as we have loads of options). January will be a difficult period to get players so I'd rather wait another 6 months for better deals and perhaps more variety. There is no need for squad players.
  17. Honestly,I don't think signing another defender and selling Luiz in the process will solve anything.I say we still remain patient and look at the midfield for some defensive solutions. The addition of class dm may help Luiz play better.
  18. Well I don't want to get in the Witsel debate but I wanted to say in the last post was that we should only sign ONE class defensive midfielder(who ever it may be) and look to our own players for depth.
  19. To all those who are bashing Luiz. Criticising him may get you the reps but certainly does not help you as a Chelsea FC supporter. Also, please don't reply with- this is not Luiz FC blah blah, getting really old. Luiz is a solid defender and any team would be happy to have him.Had he been at Porto we all would be drooling over the prospect of signing him and urging the club to spend 30m+ on him. Just be happy guys and more importantly patient.
  20. Trust me,having players like Lampard and Cole is a HUGE advantage and to be honest we are very lucky to have such players as they can benefit us on and off the pitch. Experience is a must in any team and while you might think that these players are preventing the young ones to shine,I feel its quite the opposite. The stuff young talents can learn from playing besides these two legends is just something we can't buy in the transfer market.Money can't buy the the emotional attachment Frank and Cole have for this club and so you can always expect 100 percent commitment and work rate on the pitch. I would definitely love to see him next season but with a lesser role.(If they aren't willing to accept such a role then that's just another matter but if they are then we just cant lose such kind of players) Lampard has been getting many chances this season and maybe thats because of MVG's injury and as for Cole he's still fighting for his place but there aren't many possible options at the moment for us to just replace him with.In a few years time, yes Shaw can be the answer but not now. So anyways, its better to be happy to have such world class players than to just complain about them.
  21. The current DM situation is the perfect opportunity for Chalobah to break into the first team.My preferred dm options next season would be- Ramires,(someone like Witsel,Pogba),MVG,Lampard and Chalobah. Essien and Mikel have been great players for the club but I believe its time they move on and look for a club with regular first team opportunities.I'd still keep Lampard but offer him a lesser role like how Mikel is getting this season,if he does not wish to play so little then honestly I would not mind seeing him leave but my first preference would be for him to stay.IF he does leave then someone like Romeu or Josh should replace him.
  22. This obviously should be his last season at the club. He has been a major part of this club and deserves respect for his contributions.I'd like to see more of him as I believe a consistent run of games will give him the confidence and also allow the other pivot players in the squad the must needed rest in this long hectic season. Also, when we play weaker oppositions,Essien should be picked over Mikel as Michael offers more when asked to attack.
