That Arsenal v Atletico Madrid tie is an interesting one. If Atletico set out to be defensive, negative like they sometimes do against the big sides, then I don't see why Arsenal can't beat them to reach the final, especially if they can win by a few goals in the first leg. Atletico did after all get dominated, out-thought and out-fought by us in both group stage games this season! But if they play aggressive and on the front foot like we know they can, then they can definitely knock them out. Hope Costa can find his form again. No goals in 6 games but apparently picked up an injury yesterday.

They'll win it if their front three stay fit. Need to impose a football blackout if that happens!

None of Roma, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich have looked particularly convincing in the Champions League. Won't be surprised one bit if Liverpool managed to go all the way. Comes down to who can maintain decent form over the 3 games.

Think he can still do a job in Serie A given the league is slower and less physical. But agree with the notion, we need to find a replacement/someone better ASAP. Fabregas epitomizes part of our squad's issue right now - zero mobility, slow and ponderous.

For all his troubles this season, worth mentioning that he has contributed 17 goals in all competitions this season (11 goals, 6 assists). That's way more than anyone else in the team, which I suppose doesn't say much given the squad's average-ness, but for someone in his first season in English football, that's a decent return.

As annoying as his attitude/behavior has been this season, especially in 2018, I'm still willing to give him another season for reasons that you have already pointed out. I'd also argue that the current striker role he's asked to play doesn't maximize his strengths. Though he has good technique and decent link-up play, he's essentially been deployed like a target man, to play like how Costa, Drogba used to do for us and that's not his strengths.

Just watch us beat them this weekend and then lose to the same lot in the semi-final.

Lost the ball countless of times. When he had the chance to shoot from a decent spot, he didn't. When the opportunity wasn't there to shoot, he decided to shoot. WHAT THE FUCK WAS HE PLAYING AT?! 3. The communication between Courtois and the defence was a disaster. Every time the ball was played in between them both, neither side looked sure on who should come collect the ball or deal with the danger. THAT was so evident with the goal we conceded.
