Said before, City have to play Madrid(though at home) on the same matchday as us playing Juventus away. Not too bad there I suppose. The one I think is most concerning is we play Spurs(A), Shakhtar(A) and United(H) all in one week. On that midweek we play Shakhtar in Ukraine, United are at home to Braga.

Will be interesting to see how we deal with him. Let him control the midfield and that will be our downfall.

Yes but we can't just ignore the present because of the future. We have also gotta think of our current situation with the team. Suicidal to go into a long season especially this one with just Torres and Sturridge or just 2 strikers for that matter. Rotations/Injuries/Suspensions all will come into place. IF Torres get injured or suffers a dip in form, then we only have 1 striker in Sturridge to turn to. We'll probably have to flogged him to death when that happens. Furthermore, having another striker will also give us another option when needed in certain games. City and United all have 4 STs in their team that can give them different variations. Not saying we should have as many STs as them but at least 3 is needed especially we have so many matches to play this season and if we really want to challenge for the top honours.

We still do. Getting another ST is really crucial.

Did anyone realize that when the first four teams that came out of Pot 2 went straight into the last 4 pots from Group E to H in that order? Conspiracy...

Now that you reminded me of that Spurs game, it really is crap. And while we are away at Shakhtar before facing United, they'll be at home to Braga that same midweek! Regarding that City fixture, well, they play Madrid away while we are away at Juventus. Fair enough I suppose.

Here's our group's fixture list: Sep 19 Juventus (h) Oct 2 Nordsjaelland (a) Oct 23 Shakhtar (a) Nov 7 Shakhtar (h) Nov 20 Juve (a) Dec 5 Nordsjaelland (h).

If we are to progress, we need to win all 3 home games and beat Nordsjaelland away. 12 points from those 4 games would be enough to see us through.

Not denying that but he needs to be reminded of what happened in 2009 and don't forget that Messi had a penalty against us and couldn't buried it!

According to RDM in his PC, Marin, Malouda and Benayoun are not with the squad in Monaco. Did not travel. We all know Marin is injured but the other 2, well, safe to say they're probably leaving. EDIT: Bah. Late by second. Damn you Pr22!
