TBH, Luiz v Falcao scares me a bit. Never quite know what the geezer is gonna do. And do think if we are to win this game, we need to score first. Diego Simeone's side are generally tough to beat.

Deserved lead for Atletico really. They are defending well, working ever so hard and pressing Bilbao vigourously, not letting them get into their stride at all.

If anyone is interested, Atletico Madrid face Athletic Bilbao tonight in La Liga at 9pm UK time. And regarding the lineup, would probably like to see RDM stick with the same starting XI for this game but doubt that is gonna happen.

The lack of freshness in the Madrid squad is probably affecting them right now. Mourinho may have bought Modric now but he basically still has more or less the same squad for 2 seasons now. Even though there are great players in their team but they probably have become a bit predictable to the other teams.

Great! We still definitely need another striker, big name or not. Going with just 2 STs even for half a season at least is a major risk. One injury or either Torres/Sturridge goes off the boil and we're in trouble.

Can never understand comment like that. Why should we be choosing which games we were prefer to win? It's a different competition, different game altogether. Should always be looking to win games like this regardless of the opposition. A big chance to add win another trophy and winning will breed even more confidence into the team. Very unlikely. Will be back in mid September and best not to risk him too especially given his injury record.
