  1. In other words, you just want a like back. No gonna give it since the like you gave was just a pity like.
  2. Gotta applaud his idiocy of constantly dropping deep yesterday. Instead of playing on the shoulder of Sparta's backline to make himself available to receive a through ball, he constantly dropped deep trying to get himself in the buildup play. Too often we had 3-4 players looking to create and pass in the hole and suddenly Torres decides to drop in leading to major congestion in that area with no one making running off the ball runs at all!! Additionally, every time when there is someone running to the byline and looking to put a cross in, Torres doesn't even bother to make the runs into the 6-yard area to attack it! He's always just standing in the middle waiting for someone to pick him out amongst the opposition defenders!!

  4. He is best suited to play on the LW actually as that is his best position. Playing on the RW doesn't seem to suit him too much as we have seen against QPR and Brentford. Do agree that he is a little bit predictable by always coming inside from the left. He needs to get to the byline a bit more to give us some width and offers more threat upfront.
  5. One thing I didn't like watching this was the fact that no one was making themselves available to be played in behind Sparta's defence. Everybody wanted to get on the ball and looking to past around which led to the lack of penetration. We tried to play 1-2s through them and it failed quite often. And heck, even that blondie dropped deep everytime we get the ball in the hole which made it even worse!
  6. Hope Terry starts this one. Annoyed that he didn't even start against Sparta Prague today!
  7. Do the players care? The way they played today was like what happened in the Super Cup and Club World Cup final.
  8. Gareth Bale has scored all of Tottenham's goals(6) in their last 4 matches, helping them to 3 wins & 1 draw. One man team? Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid have just lost 2-0 at home to 10-man Rubin Kazan!!
  9. Play like this against Ajax and we'll get beaten easily.
  10. Obviously. I meant physically stronger. It's something he needs to improve on anyway. Too often he has lost the ball under a bit of pressure when against physical opponents. Silva isn't exactly the strongest or the biggest but he's good at protecting the ball when under pressure.
  11. Gotta remember Mata isn't at his peak and a finished article yet. Mourinho can improve and bring the best out of him. Also if we are gonna worry about this, then think Mourinho would probably sell most of the players since we have quite a lot of creative flair players that don't suit his style of play...
  12. He has a history of saying one thing and then doing another. Don't think it is set in stone that he will retire come the summer just yet.
  13. Just because he's not physically strong doesn't mean Mourinho will just toss him aside. His quality is there to see for everyone. Just needs to improve on his physical strength and I'm sure Mourinho will make he sure does, assuming he takes over come the summer.
  14. Here we go with Round 2. *ding ding* If we win this, we'll face Middlesbrough away at...sometime, whenever that would be.

  17. Just a rotation policy like Hamilton has explained. Barca do the same with their GKs. Valdes for La Liga and CL while Pinto for the Copa Del Rey.
  18. Can Hazard try to run more at players with the ball? Too much pass pass pass and not exploiting his ability to punish the opposition! Seems like that point is contradicting to what you're actually trying to say...
  19. Standard goal for him in Europe again. Has scored 6 in 7 appearances now.
  20. Wouldn't mind him to be honest. Showed what he got in his locker at Udinese. Hasn't been great at Barcelona but don't think their style of play suits his overall game. One likes to pass pass pass while the other likes to have ball on feet and run at players. Having said that, how are we going to fit him into the team IF we do buy him? It's one thing to get talented players, it's another getting too many for one team. Right now, we just seem to buying all this kind of players without actually having any sort of direction to how we actually want to construct a squad and a proper balanced squad with depth!
  21. Oscar goal aside, abysmal is an understatement to describe the performance. Just simply unacceptable!
